Everyone should watch videos of Trump and Gaffigan speaking at the Al Smith dinner. They absolutely eviscerated Kamala. And the room loved it. When liberal Catholics and Jews in New York City give obvious disapproval of Kamala, you know she’s going to lose. Trump might win New York State’s electoral votes. That’s how bad things look for her. No way she wins.
The Al Smith Dinner was raunchy. It was beneath the dignity of a cardinal to host such a vulgar event. It was scandalous. Cardinal Dolan was right next to the podium as the comedian told “kitty” jokes about female anatomy. Trump cussed. Dolan put on a smile. He should have walked out. The whole dinner should be canceled or turned into something different. Dolan is a huge disappointment.
It used to be that adults would have a sense of decorum around clerics even if they were uncouth in their everyday lives. Now? Telling off-color jokes and swearing in front of a cardinal is no big deal. The Church and her clergy are not perceived by people to be holy nor to require polite behavior anymore. Our culture has deteriorated into barbarism.
Did you all watch Kamala’s embarrassing interview on FOX? I think her winning the election is impossible without God’s help. Good thing God isn’t going to help her.
