California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed two bills Sept. 27 that add “anti-hate speech” instruction to the harassment training required for most employers and for elected officials, beginning Jan. 1, 2028. The laws do not define hate speech, and critics charge that this could result in Christian or other beliefs being treated as hate speech.
“What does it mean to vilify? What speech actually humiliates?” Greg Burt, vice president of the California Family Council, asked during “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins.”
“[M]any times legislators consider many Christian beliefs when they’re expressed — especially regarding sexuality or gender — they accuse us of hating people,” Burt said. “That’s [the] farthest thing from my mind. But we are simply advocating for our view that sex is determined by biology, and God created us both male and female. Well, to many people that is humiliating and that incites hatred. And so that’s the problem with this legislation.”
AB 1803, sponsored by Assemblymember Josh Lowenthal, D-Long Beach, adds the training to the sexual harassment courses that employers with five or more workers must already provide. It requires “practical guidance on recognizing, reporting, and confronting workplace speech that vilifies, humiliates, or incites hatred” against people based on protected characteristics, according to the bill text as amended in June.
A Senate Judiciary Committee analysis said it adds no training hours to the existing one-hour course for employees and two-hour course for supervisors. Independent contractors, volunteers, and unpaid interns count toward the five-worker threshold established for required training, the Civil Rights Department says. Employers with fewer than five workers are not required to train their personnel….

Newsom, born in 1967, after Vatican II ended, grew up wrong. He had very flimsy religious and moral training. And no solid, traditional, classical education. Plus, he is dyslexic, which made school harder for him. And his parents separated when he was age 2 and divorced when he was age 5. California needs a solidly re-Christianized populace, led by good churches, filled with good, traditional marriages, good family values, and good, traditional schools. Leftist indoctrination in the schools should be illegal. Then we will have a decent state to live in.

We all know what hate speech is. If you trigger anyone who is LGBTQ+, socialist, abortionist, sexual libertine, child mutilator, or Muslim, you are, by definition, a hater. It doesn’t matter if what you say is true or how “nicely” you say it, just own up to it, you’re a hater. Only the oppressors are to be confronted with the truth. It’s not hate speech since you’re simply speaking truth to power, like to all those powerful, oppressive Christians and “whites.” And, of course, White isn’t a skin color. One’s skin could be brown, Black or some AsianX or Native/Indigenous skin tone and, if they’re successful, that means they’re an oppressor. Their success proves it. We need Gov Gav to protect the entire nation, not only those of us privileged enough to life in California. Remember, he got a Jesuitical college education. Did you?
With Gav the Great in the White House and great senators like Jimmy Six-genders Talarico, Adbul Mostly Peaceful El-Sayed and others controlling the Senate, we’ll be well on our way to utopia. And, BTW, Talarico is a part-time seminarian, so he knows that Bible stuff. Let’s Make America California.
Right on, Catholics for Newsom. Free recreational marijuana, contraceptives, sex changes and grocery stores are almost here. Can we get free bicycles too? Where can I get my Let America Meet Engels ballcap? I’m sure you’re giving them away.
