Names of priests Father Raul Lemus, pastor. Msgr. Daniel Whelton, in residence. Fr. Raul is originally from El Salvador, and grew up in tough neighborhoods in the San Francisco area. He left the Church for a time in his youth, but returned, entered the seminary and was ordained a priest a decade and a half ago. Besides serving as pastor, he is promoter of vocations for the diocese. He’s definitely on the conservative side, and recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.
School No.

Additional observations St. Joseph was established as a parish in 1913. It is a small parish south of Santa Rosa just off the 101 freeway. It’s a vibrant community, with many active families.
“Where’s the beef [i.e., traditional Latin Mass]?”
Most likely the demand isn’t there and the priests may not be trained in the TLM.
Huh, why?
St. Christopher [did you notice that the Church no longer considers you a saint?]—–why WHAT? C&H already gave you a sensible answer. namely, there’s no demand for the TLM at this parish. would you have the pastor cram the TLM down his parishioners’ throats? or are you obliquely saying that the ‘Novus Ordo” is somehow invalid or essentially inferior? you know that the Church definitively teaches otherwise, and as a faithful “orthodox” Catholic, you accept her decision in a matter which is unquestionably in her bailiwick—RIGHT???
Dear Administrator, There is an inconsistency in the text in the good Father’s length of ordination. One place says ten years; the other says fifteenth anniversary.
