Looks like a Lowe’s storefront. Imagine a big, blue Lowe’s sign on the arch over the entrance.
Hmm… St. Lowe’s Soul Improvement
Lowe’s, This seems like a very good parish. That (the photo) is their parish center where Masses are currently celebrated. They hope to build a church in the future. Check out their website. They’re solidly Catholic. Maybe you’d like to contribute so they can build their church and not have to gather in their parish center. Don’t judge a book by its cover.
Very inspiring priest– so badly needed, today. Can’t help church he is assigned to. No more Blase Cupiches nor Robert McElroys (nor Theodore McCarricks) entering our Catholic seminaries.
No TLM.
No Mozarabic Mass either.
In fairness to Romulus Augustus, I think the Mozarabic Mass Rite Christians have their own churches. I know the Eastern Rite Catholics do.in Los Gatos. The TLM is a Latin Rite. This is a Latin Rite church. Just saying.
Anne, the Mozarabic Mass is part of the Latin Church, as is the Ambrosian Rite. The Latin Church has more than one rite. Dominican-rite Masses have recently been celebrated in the Oakland diocese. These are all Western/Latin rites. Not every Mass is celebrated in every parish. That’s my point. Just trying to help another emperor understand the West.
The Syro-Malabar Rite from India had a Catholic church in Milpitas, CA, but it closed. The people are going to different Catholic churches. It seems we have too many churches here in too many different languages to support them. I think there are around 30+ rites with newer ones being added.in the world. I have gone to Latin Dominican Masses and Ruthenian-Eastern Catholic rite before with English sermons. There are Novus Order Laotian English Masses with Laotian Chants/ English sermons and wholly Spanish, Portuguese and other languages Masses.
