It initially served 850 Catholics in a parish that covered 40,000 square miles. The current church was built in 1967. Improvements for the church were added in 2011.
This is my church. It’s lovely!
I love any parish that has daily Liturgy of the Hours. God Bless.
I will have to look up what time this church has the Liturgy of the Hours — morning, noon, evening or night, or maybe three of them.
I love to watch the vespers services online and always dreamed of having a church close enough to me to walk there in the evening for vespers. I would not care if were the Traditional Mass vespers, the Liturgy of the Hours, or the one used by the Anglicanorum Coetibus Society — just vespers in the evening. The traditional English name for it is “Evensong”, which is so beautifully poetic. What a lovely way to wind up the day.
my church: Amazing little church. Do you ever attend the Sunday 2pm Latin Tridentine Mass?
