Mass times Saturday vigil: 5 p.m.; Sunday 8 a.m., 10 a.m. There is also a noon Sunday Mass at Queen of the Snows Chapel, 1550 Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley, a mission church 7.5 miles away. Additional observations Corpus Christi Parish in the Diocese of Sacramento is a daughter parish of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Truckee, which was established in 1870. Corpus Christi became a separate parish in 1961. The church is across the street from Lake Tahoe, a mile from Tahoe City, and was built in 1911. It is a small church, which has been added on to and renovated over the years, most recently in 1992. Its mission parish, Queen of the Snows, was built in 1959.

Fr. Francis is a holy, humble and happy priest. The parish is very fortunate to have him assigned there.
