Names of priests Fr. Todd Unger, pastor.  Fr. Unger is from Redmond and grew up in St. Thomas Parish.  He was ordained a priest in Redmond in 1982.  He leads a traditional Catholic community, friendly to orthodoxy and the teaching authority of the Church.

Special activities Adoration daily 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays noon until Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday 3 to 6 p.m.  There is a family rosary group, and daily and pro-life rosaries at the parish; see the parish website for times.  Bible studies.

Fellow parishioners It is a predominantly English-speaking community, but has a significant Hispanic population that attends the Sunday noon Mass.

Additional observations  Redmond is a High Desert town in central Oregon in the Diocese of Baker.  St. Thomas Parish was established in 1941; the current church building was completed in 2004 and the parish hall in 2012.  It serves more than 1,000 families.
