School Yes. Grades K – 8. Served by the Sacro Costato Missionary Sisters. The school opened in 1938 and charged $2/month tuition! (With tuition and fees, it’s around $6,000/year now.)
Fellow parishioners Burlingame is an older, English-speaking community; many of its residents are well-to-do.
Parking No problem on the weekends; you can park on the school grounds.
Acoustics Good.
Additional observations St. Catherine’s is one of two beautiful old churches in Burlingame, about a half hour’s drive south of San Francisco. The parish was established in 1908; the current church dedicated in 1952. It’s a beautiful church, great architecture and stained glass windows.

I attended St. Catherine’s school in 1949. Our teachers were the Sisters of Mercy. Tuition for me was
$2.50 per month.
I think fondly of those days, and my favorite teacher Sister Mary Theodore.
I am so glad that the school and church are still there.
