Please, give me a break. I used to live within three blocks of this church. It was awful. Dead. That was 25 years ago.

The Dominicans have been there only since 2013. And, they didn’t have a FOCUS missionary on staff before that either.
Parishes change. Different clergy sometimes revive moribund parishes in a short period if tine. I’ve seen it many times.
The late 90s were bad all over.
