There were about 20 people from St. Anne’s praying in front of the downtown Planned Parenthood (the fifth week of 40 Days For Life spring campaign), when a woman who looked to be in her mid to late 30s arrived. She walked down the driveway near another woman, but it wasn’t clear if they arrived together, or were just chatting on their way from the parking lot into the building. The sidewalk counselor offered them both a flyer about the risks and side effects of having an abortion. The other woman continued into the building, but the first women stopped, turned, and said, “I’ll take one.”
About 10 or 15 minutes later, the woman came back out the door, still holding the flyer in her hand. She was sobbing, and her eyes were teary. She didn’t stop to say anything, but continued to her car, and as she drove out, she waved, trying to get the counselor’s attention. When they made eye contact, she gave a “thank you” type of wave, with a teary, grateful look on her face, and drove away.
While we can’t know for sure the details of why she left, her emotional state, still holding the flyer, with her purposeful recognition of thanks when leaving, tend to suggest she changed her mind about having an abortion.
Please pray for this woman, and all women who are contemplating ending the life of their unborn baby during this season of Lent.
God bless,
The Sidewalk Counselors of Helpers of God’s Precious Infants San Diego

Thank you and God bless the Sidewalk Counselors of God’s Precious Infants for giving a wonderful testimony and saving a precious unborn baby child. End Abortion Now! Adoption is the option.
The fifth commandment is not a choice. It’s a commandment.
I was so horrified to read in the news today, the “New York Times” investigation of all the sex abuse cases of womanizer– Cesar Chavez! He seduced many underage girls, as well as adult women, according to this news story— and never got caught! I felt very sorry for Dolores Huerta, who confessed that Chavez forced her into sex many times, and she bore two children by him– whom she sent to others to raise, trying to keep the scandal a secret, for the cause of the poor farm workers’ movement. She said she kept silent for 60 years! Now they are removing Chavez from a “hero” status in California, and everywhere else– taking his name off of parks, streets, schools, etc., removing his status as a “hero” from the CA Museum’s Hall of Fame. I am very sorry for all the poor victims, as Chavez died in 1993– and they all had no justice. Any more illegitimate babies– or worse– abortions— among Cesar Chavez’ victims of sex abuse? How awful!
I just submitted a comnent about the sex abuse victims of UFW leader, Cesar Chavez. Well, I also read that Dolores Huerta, a UFW co-founder and one of his sex abuse victims, later had an affair for many years with Cesar Chavez’ brother, Richard– but they never married, despite having four children together. Previously, Huerta had been twice married and divorced. What a big stupid mess.
