American students and parents face a wide variety of challenges in today’s society: gender ideology introduced for the youngest students, elements of anti-racism and critical race theory embedded into curricula and standards, union influence on teachers, foreign funding undermining learning, and more.
Defending Education’s Rankings on Integrity in State Education compares how state governments are handling these issues and what they are doing to protect students and families, and keep public education in the best interest of students.
We scored all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia on five major education categories (gender and sexuality, “diversity, equity, and inclusion”, parental rights, teacher policies, and foreign influence), and ranked them based on their performance. Tennessee earns the top score in 2026, while Illinois ranks the worst, only over the District of Columbia which takes the 51st spot….

I recently read this article in Rev. Franklin Graham’s “Decision” magazine. Let’s all move to Tennessee. A solid Red State, too.
This is great news. Results like this aren’t easily accomplished. We’ve been working for this for decades. To move from one end of a scale to the opposite in less than half a century is quite an accomplishment. Educating students and letting parents have any say in their kids education is dangerous. We could end up like those rednecks in Tennessee, Florida and those other top ranked southern states. Do we want an Andy Griffith as our attorney general? Continue voting the way you have so we can protect you from you. Let the enlightened, progressive experts take care of you and your children. Let’s replace Sister Michelle Gorman as chaplain for the California State Senate with Rev. James Martin. Michelle is liberal enough, getting the support of the pro-choice lobby and the LGBTQ+ crowd, but she’s not an influencer like celebrity priest Martin.
A couple more weeks and we’ll see if California continues to walk toward the light. There’s an angel of light waiting for us. What could go wrong?

Y’all are welcome to Texas, as long as you don’t California our Texas. If you come, remember, you’re a refugee, not a missionary. Too many have come here from California and other leftist places and brought their short-sighted, dangerous ideologies with them. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be a state with so many races this election that might be won by socialists. And, it doesn’t help that out-of-state Republicans have saddled us with the likes of Ken Paxton, but he’s still better than Talarico. We hope our truly Catholic governor stays in office.
