Very beautiful! Thanks! This CD would be an absolutely beautiful Christmas gift!
I have been a lifelong fan of the King’s College Choir of Cambridge, especially their annual “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols..” I have a collection of their recordings, starting from the 1950s. Their annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve has been broadcast live, globally, by the BBC Radio since 1928. It starts at 3pm (10am EST, or 7am PST). You can listen to them on BBC Radio 4 in the UK, and WFMT/Your Classical in the U.S., and on other public radio stations, worldwide. Also, you can listen to the recorded program, later. Also love the annual BBC Radio contests for child solo choristers! Here is the link to Your Classical: https://www.yourclassical.org
At the Brompton Oratory in London, there is a famous Catholic boychoir, that is unusually, exquisitely beautiful, musically– the Schola Cantorum of the London Oratory School, conducted by Charles Cole. They sing for both the Novus Ordo and Latin Tridentine Masses. To hear them sing in person, is an angelic, sacred musical pathway to Heaven! Unforgettable! Here is a link to a YouTube regarding a Christmas CD of theirs, “Sacred Treasures of Christmas.”

As many of our holy Saints have noted, beautiful sacred Catholic masterpieces of art, sculpture, church architecture, sacred music, literature and poetry, are all very helpful in uplifting the soul to God. Some of our Saints have also been artistically gifted, and have contributed beautiful works of sacred art, poetry, literature, music, etc. to our Church’s traditional liturgy and religious devotions.
I still love the wonderful old stars, like Bing Crosby! I have a stack of favorite classic Christmas movies, including “Going My Way,” with Bing Crosby, and “Bells of St. Mary’s,” with Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, “Miracle on 34th St.,” with Natalie Wood, and others. Wonderful family holiday classic films!
A beautiful and ancient carol is the Wexford Carol.
Daniel – here is a lovely rendition of the Wexford Carol by Patrick Dexter on Cello (with his delightful dog making an appearance).

Thanks Kathleen and thanks also for adding the Piano guys. These two are magnifient, and so appropriate for the Advent/Christmas season!
Oh, how.beautiful! Loved seeing his dog in the video, too.
People who love children and animals are real special. Animals are very sensitive, and dogs have sensitive hearing. I bet the dog enjoys hearing the beautiful cello music!
A whole beautiful concert there. Thank you! and a Merry Christmastide to all.
The title of this article should be corrected– Bing Crosby’s name is misspelled.
Thanks for catching – fixed.
I’m down! Enough of those racist holiday songs like White Christmas, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and others. Let’s use true holiday songs like John Lennon’s iconic “Imagine” and Michael Jackson’s “We Are the World.” I feel that.
Happy HanaRamaKwanzimas to all. For real.
I would like to be worthy to receive Communion on Christmas Day. I will stay away from this website for a while. People who defend jon can be serious occasions of sin that I need to stay away from if I want to be worthy of receiving Communion.
If I am not worthy to receive Communion, I will not receive Communion. I will not do like Joe Biden does and receive Communion anyhow. I respect someone who has enough respect for the Blessed Sacrament to not receive Communion when not worthy. Such a person puts God’s judgments ahead of his own.
This reminded me I hadn’t listened to Bing Crosby Christmas Album in years. Listening to it now. These great mellow old singers have been displaced by modernism on the airwaves. I’ll never get tired of Bing Crosby for Christmas.
