The following comes from an October 19 LifeSiteNews article by Father Mark Hodges:
UCLA paid porn stars $2,250 for giving students an “inside look” at the porn industry.
A spring “workshop” brought James Deen and Tasha Reign along with gay porn performer Colby Keller as a “Porn Panel” for students, with the purpose to “get an inside look into the adult film industry from the stars themselves.”
The UCLA student government organized the panel, paying for it with student fees – and taxpayer dollars.
UCLA officials are defending the panel. Campus Event Commissioner Greg Kalfayan and Student Wellness Commissioner Savannah Baldich co-hosted it, justifying the “Porn Panel” as having “academic value,” according to student newspaper The College Fix.
The two commissioners said that student “wellness” includes such topics as having sex on camera for money: “This event is not only appropriate, it is our … responsibility to put on educational and entertaining events that reach students from diverse backgrounds on topics that affect their health.”
The event, held in the largest lecture hall on campus, was sold out.
How Our Lord and Our Lady weep at this world and our once beloved United States of America, what have we done to ourselves that perversion is now normal????
Lets empower people and get the word about this and give the people an understanding how the porn industry hurts families, marraiges etc etc.

There is tons more resources. May God help someone reject porn and may these resources be helpful.
Is the messege “For those of you attractive enough, if you can’t find a job with your BA in humanities, consider a carier in porn.” I hope someone raised the issue of exposure to STD’s with no condoms. And people object to the military recruiting on campus! Yuck.
Let’s hope they held this panel in an attempt to show the students they better get serious about their education.
YFC thats it? Thats what you have to say to this? Im disgusted. Sarcasm or what have you. You clearly neglect to comprehend.
Children as young as 6 years old are bring exposed to pornography! This is concerning! Before the internet it was as early as 12 or 14 because of dirty magazine’s. I was hoping that someone from that school would contradict what these porn stars are teaching. What about the parents? Are they aware that porn also exploits women and children, how about human trafficking is a product of that too. This is very disturbing, that a school would permit this. I know its not the first time but it still gets to me, how is this possible. Such evil is hard to comprehend. A parent has to ask this ” do we really want our kids to go to college? “
Porn is a vile and insidious disease, in a sane society it would be banned completely and driven to where it should be.. underground. I really pity those on both end of this problem the women (and men) in photos and the young men addicted to viewing them
Welcome to the “Twit-like Zone”!
And this is what is becoming of our college campuses, once the pride of America, once the best education nation in the world. They have turned into dens of ill-repute. The sinful liberals have taken charge of them. Seems like you can’t turn anywhere anymore and sleeze and sin are in your face, but why promote it on campuses? How our Lord and His Mother must weep, like He did looking over Jerusalem.
Send any children you love to Thomas Aquinas College, folks. It is a truly Catholic college, I assure you most sincerely. Wild living there means hiking in the beautiful countryside surrounding this remarkable college where intellectual delights and naturally serene surroundings are designed into the experience.
