The Archdiocese of Tijuana confirmed yesterday morning that Monsignor Francisco Moreno Barrón has tested positive for Covid-19, so he is at rest in order to recover soon.
The archbishop was already convalescing, having undergone prostate surgery, now his fight is against the Sars-Cov-2 virus, so he is at home under medical treatment.
Similarly, it was reported that two religious sisters who attend the Episcopal House tested positive for contagion. The archdiocese has exhorted the entire Catholic Church community to pray for the health of the monsignor and of the sisters, so that they can soon return to their work.
The above comes from a translated version of a Nov. 16 story in El Sol de California.
I wish them all a speedy recovery and will hold them in prayer
Almighty God, in the Name of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we implore You to end the coronavirus pandemic, to grant relief and healing to those who are suffering from Covid-19, to grant eternal salvation to those who have died. Please grant Your protection to all health care workers and others who take care of the sick. Grant them relief from their fatigue and anxiety; give them health, compassion, all the resources they need to take care of the sick, the protection of themselves and their families and the recovery of their patients. Amen
I will include them in my Rosary.
