Dear Pro-life friends,

Because certain people are trying to block the efforts of sidewalk counselors to save mothers and babies from the horrors of abortion, we are keeping the dates, times, and locations of where we are counseling confidential.

Report from the fourth week of April, 2017

One of the counselors approached a car as it parked near the entrance to the abortion center. The young woman started to get out, but then closed the door as the young man who was driving exited the car. Fortunately, he was very open and patient, and took the brochures while listening as the counselor summarized the dangers of having an abortion.

The counselor told him stories of how the women looked as they left the clinic after having an abortion. The counselor explained how there were better options, including open adoption, and that there are many agencies listed in the flyer that were there to help out young couples like them in many ways. The counselor handed him more information about Lamb of God maternity home, Culture of Life Family Services, and one that told of the impact that abortion has on fathers.

As the young man listened, the counselor explained the regret he and his girl friend would have the rest of their lives if they choose to go through with this abortion today.. or a year from now they could be holding their baby boy or girl in their arms, soon celebrating “Happy Birthday”, etc.  The man was paying close attention when the counselor told him there was a very high probability that the abortion would destroy their relationship.

After pausing in thought, he went back into the car to speak with his girlfriend, who is 4 weeks pregnant. The counselor and a second counselor stood back from the car praying, and waiting in case they decided to go into the clinic. About 10 to 15 minutes later the car started up and they drove away.

Please pray for this couple that they remain strong in their decision for life, and do not return to the abortion center.
