The following was posted April 20 on the California Catholic page of GoFundMe.
We are the small non-profit that runs the #1 Catholic website in California.
We serve ten thousand users a day.
We take no government funds and have no large donors.
Cal Catholic has been able with our small staff and the help of volunteers to post nearly 1000 stories a year, including the 6-part American Holocaust story and the 6-part series on the California bishops .
We field 30 to 50 thousand comments a year, making our site the #1 engaged Catholic site in the U.S.
Please consider donating to us to keep us going another year. All donations are tax-deductible.

Let’s go fellow Church mice…time to cough up some dough for the cheese we’ve been nibbling. ;)
Before I ever came to this website, many many years ago, I checked it’s fidelity rating on CatholicCulture.org. It was excellent. A little while ago, I checked again and there is no fidelity rating at all for CCD.
I do not know why but about a year ago, the website comments section changed and is now dominated by 3 or 4 unfaithful people and I have wondered if that is why. 2 people who used to be stalwart defenders of the faith have changed and are now among those who make this website very questionable.
Maybe you should count how many comments are faithful to Catholic teaching on the Creed, the Sacraments, the 10 Commandments and Catholic prayer.
