WHAT A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR CATHOLICS TO CONFRONT THEIR BISHOP AND DISCUSS THE LACK OF CATHOLIC TEACHING, THE LOCK-STEP AGENDA BETWEEN THE CHURCH AND THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, THE HOMOSEXUAL PRIESTS, ETC.
It’s fine that Bishop Blaire meet with these people, but it really should be Cardinal Mahoney who meets with them.
. . . Come to think of it, maybe Bishop McElroy should also attend so that he gets a preview of where he’s leading his diocese.
i was thrilled when i first saw the headline, thinking, ‘for once we have a bishop who doesn’t squeeze visits into the aftermath of confirmation….but then i saw it was a state-mandated contact with the people.low-riding bishop gallegos might have done a lot more for evangelization, entering into chicano culture, than many a deeply planned ‘ministry program’ could ever do.. i agree with steve seitz that cdl mahoney should be the point man for these visits,
