Dear Pro-life friends,

On Saturday, September 28, well more than a hundred people came out to Planned Parenthood downtown at First and Grape for 40 Days for Life, mostly from St. Anne’s.  They lined both sides of the driveway praying the Rosary.  Maybe it was the sound of prayers echoing off the building, or maybe patients were seen looking out the window at the growing crowd of prayer warriors, but for the first time in at least several years, something prompted two of the management staff to come out the front door to see what was going on.  “What was going on” was the largest group of people we have seen in a long time, led by their pastor, bringing their prayers to the doorstep of the largest abortion center in San Diego.  What better way to be a public witness for Christ!

Encourage your pastor and fellow parishioners to become involved in 40 Days for Life, to get out of their comfort zones, and to help save the lives of babies through your prayerful public witness.

If you really want to become more involved is saving babies, consider trying to get your parish to adopt a whole day, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. 40 Days for Life runs through November 3, 2019.
