Sister Dierdre Byrne, a physician who served in the military for 29 years before joining her order, lauded President Trump’s pro-life record during her speech at the Republican National Convention.
Refugees she has worked with throughout the world “all share a common experience: they have been all marginalized, viewed as insignificant, powerless and voiceless,” Byrne said. “And while we tend to think of the marginalized as living beyond our borders, the truth is, the largest marginalized group in the world can be found here in the United States. They are the unborn.”
Byrne continued, “As a physician I can say without hesitation that life begins at conception. While what I have to say may be difficult for some to hear, I’m saying it not just because I’m pro-life: I’m pro-eternal life. And I want all of us to end up together in heaven someday.”
Byrne then praised President Trump as the “most pro-life president” in the history of the country, and decried Joe Biden’s and Kamala Harris’s support for abortion rights.

God bless the good sister and in a full habit! Yes Trump is the most pro-life president in the history of United States hands down! Many truly believe Melania Trump has had a hand in his conversion to Life, she is a Roman Catholic from overwhelmingly Catholic Slovenia and Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano has been corresponding with Trump on a regular basis, if Trump is converting to the True Faith we may not know however he is more Roman Catholic than Joe Biden can ever be. The battle lines are drawn; you can have a man who will protect the unborn and stop the burning, looting, killing, pulling down of our statues and our history by Antifa and BLM a Marxist-Leninist organization founded by three Black openly Lesbian self proclaimed Communists or Biden a pro-abortion Democrat who supports BLM and the destruction of our nation as we know it.
Could not put it any better, Romulus.
Great speech, she nailed it! God bless her and thanks for your service. She continues to serve all of us.
In full habit, looking unmistakably like a nun, Sister/Doctor/Colonel Byrne lovingly graced the RNC with her speech. Unlike nun on a bus Simone Campbell who spoke at the DNC and declared the moral questions surrounding the topic of abortion to be “above her pay grade”, Sister Byrne gave us a new slogan, “I am not just pro-life, I am pro-eternal life”. Holding out her rosary beads as the weapon of choice was the cherry on top. Beautiful!
I agree with Kristin. I remember being told once that the Catholic Church is pro-life from conception until natural death. I said “Wait a minute. We’re are pro-life after death, too.”
God bless Sister Dierdre Mary!
Catholics Come Home. What a moving speach. I was on the edge of my seat praying we can show the world what it means to live the Gospej in our authentic Catholic faith. I loved when she showed her eternal weapon. The Rosary.
Sister Dierdre was thoroughly right about abortion and our need to protect both the mother and child. God bless her for that. She was mistaken about one thing, though.
“The Blessed Virgin was NEVER an unwed mother”. There is a website entitled that on Catholic Strength. She was legally betrothed to St. Joseph which was a binding marriage. See Deuteronomy 24:1- 4, in the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible especially for footnotes. See: Matthew 1:19;1:12; 1:24 & 1;26 where Mary is referred to as his wife, and St. Joseph was considering divorcing her. He had not yet taken her into his home. See Luke 1:27.
The Ignatius Study Bible notes to which the article refers is on pg.18 of the Ignatius Catholic Bible Study, The Gospel of Matthew.
Sr.Byrne makes me feel proud to be a Catholic!
Spectacular apologetics for life, not death. If you are Catholic you cannot vote for partial birth abortion or Infanticide with an emphasis on Black babies as legalized by Democrat Governors Cuomo and Northam to the delight of Fingers Biden and Camela Brown. Donaldjtrump.com
