The following comes from a email from Helpers of God’s Precious Infants San Diego:
Dear Pro-life friends,
Thursday, October 6, is the first abortion day in over five years that we will not have counselors in the parking lot at Family Planning Associates on Miramar road, due to the property managers and a police order.
I am tempted to say “All we can do is pray…” but praying is really the best thing we can do, and it always has been. It is only through the grace of God that a woman walking toward the abortion center will open her heart and choose life for her unborn baby. And no words from a sidewalk counselor can match the power of prayer. It has always been the driving force of Helpers of God’s Precious Infants and 40 Days for Life, and it always will be.
So until things change, sidewalk counselors will be joining our faithful prayer warriors on the sidewalk, helping in the best way we can… by prayer. We have already been in contact with one of the best pro-life lawyers in the nation, but things are not looking good for a return to the parking lot.
Please join us tomorrow, October 6 in front of FPA at 7340 Miramar Road from 7:30 to 11:30 am as we pray for the protection of the unborn and their mothers during the second week of 40 Days for Life. The mornings are when most women arrive for abortions. Thursday is surgical abortion day, Wednesdays and Fridays are abortion pill days.
Please join 40 Days for Life in front of this abortion center as often as you can. We need people praying in front of this place 7 days a week. Your prayers are critical.

Alarming how suddenly, silently & forcefully losing Religious Moral Freedoms occurs. Isn’t this an example of Civil Rights Law (CRL) surpassing other freedoms? Like the freedom of assembly & (religious) people to be in a public space? The premise: To ban Christian/Catholic moral values from the public square by using Civil Rights law. NOTE: POTUS used CRL for the change in Trans. potty rules for schools & public spaces (parks), buildings. Praying always for God’s Precious Infants & the dear people doing the ‘boots on the ground’ work of counseling.
The parking lot is private property, so the property owner may prohibit unwanted activity. The sidewalk is public property, which is why the counselors may relocate there.
The Left is inconsistent: it is for private property rights in this instance but wants to tell private schools and churches what they must do with their bathrooms, and it wants to tell private business owners that they must provide services for events the owners consider morally objectionable. The Left does that under so-called “public accommodation” rationales.
Why is the parking lot not similarly considered a public accommodation where free speech must be permitted?
I’d support prohibiting the counselors from the parking lot if government would respect the…
Pro-life NEWS: Thanks be to God. An ArchBishop (from Denver) tells Catholics their duty to VOTE PRO-Life. Here is the link @
Isn’t the local San Diego Bishop, as Shepard of the flock, telling those that he is charged with guiding and teaching that they must vote Pro Life?
I remember when I lived in California, I would would go out with my rosary and sign, and protest on the sidewalk outside the old killling place. I made sure to show my sign to not only cars going into the parking lot, but also cars passing by.
When we would do this, we would always check first with the local P.D. on the civic ordinances: However, usually if the parking lot is private property (such as a property management-owned common parking lot), one can be legally denied access. That may have happened here. You can always count on PP to invoke its full legal remedies as well.
It actually worked out better, like Joel Fago says, to post oneselves on the sidewalk area (which is nearly always permitted, provided that free access to pedestrians is not prevented, and as long as the protestors keep moving about), at the driveways, where we could easily be seen by passing traffic and motorists. Many motorists honked and waved in support of the pro-life signs and messages.
Pro-Life News Re: Who’s (the monsters) buying aborted baby parts? Maybe there is hope we will find out soon thanks to Mr. Daleiden’s good works again.
