The NCAA expressed support for transgender athletes on Monday, saying it would not host college championships in states where laws discriminate against them.
A statement from the organization’s board of governors declared that the body “firmly and unequivocally” supports the inclusion of transgender athletes in college sports. It comes as a number of states have recently advanced laws effectively banning transgender Americans from playing sports at the high school or college level.
“This commitment is grounded in our values of inclusion and fair competition,” the NCAA said. “Our clear expectation as the Association’s top governing body is that all student-athletes will be treated with dignity and respect. We are committed to ensuring that NCAA championships are open for all who earn the right to compete in them.”
“When determining where championships are held, NCAA policy directs that only locations where hosts can commit to providing an environment that is safe, healthy and free of discrimination should be selected,” the board of governors continued.
The statement is a clear shot at GOP-led states that have moved to pass bills barring transgender athletes in recent weeks, including Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Why even bother having separate men’s and women’s sports divisions anymore? Why not just one division for every sport, and everyone is welcome to compete or try out. Then let’s see how many men will still pretend to be women in sports.
Now they’re coming after the women too….
Those with a tribalistic mentality have deemed that transgenderism is more important than feminism.
We should be counted as blessed to live in such an enlightened, progressive age as ours. Look at that picture of that beautiful, strong, agile female athlete. Good for her that she can run so fast. And she represents Black people so well too. Notice, however, that the stands only have white people in them. So as good as this woman is at her sport, the fact that she’s performing for a crowd of onlooking whites is perpetuating the racist, white supremacist notion that People of Color are objects in the eyes of white people instead of full participants in society. Also, only in a white supremacist society would people with white skin have the leisure to spend time watching a sporting event while People of Color have to work, and earn poor wages. So there’s still work to be done.

This athlete is a man. He will always win out over 99% of the biological women he competes against. You obviously choose men over women, very misogynistic of you.
Poor Kris he/she sees a white supremacist under every bed. The athlete is a very confused man who needs psychological counseling and any one who supports this is very confused and likewise could use some help.
So kris , you would be fine with this person sharing a locker room /bathroom with your mom , sisters and female friends ? if they object too bad for them or do they have a reason for concern ? It appears that misogyny is something that you are comfortable with as well as these non biological females with by their performance may take the greater share of awards and scholarships, that used to go to biological girls and women .I detect racism in your analysis that non whites are condemned to work poor wages , and have no time to watch sporting events , this perception from a background picture that does not capture the entire event . Your bigotry of low expectations and sophistry is on full display .
Does the NCAA wish to honor China Joe’s commitment to his “great civil rights issue of our day” — transgenderism— and destroy women’s athletics with mentally-ill male athletes? Biden’s evil advocacy of abortion requires his dead conscience to find an arena where he can perform some compensatory virtue-signaling and escape from his true guilt. He has made yet another very poor choice. It will be interesting to see how (thoughtful) leftists will ultimately choose between feminism and transgenderism.

To think that the trans lobby has more influence than women and girls!
And, we men have failed to stand up and protect women and girls.
Shame on us.
