Scott Wiener, a gay politician who represents San Francisco, weighed in Tuesday on Republican Texas Rep. Bryan Slaton’s promise to introduce legislation banning children from drag shows after pictures of children attending a drag show in a Texas bar went viral.
“This guy just gave me a bill idea,” Wiener tweeted. “Offering Drag Queen 101 as part of the K-12 curriculum. Attending Drag Queen Story Time will satisfy the requirement.”
The California Democrat did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Wire. It was not immediately clear whether he was joking or not.
“I promised my voters that I would stand up for their values and fight to protect Texas kids,” he continued. “I was re-elected on that promise and I intend to keep it by authoring legislation to defend kids from being subjected to drag shows and other inappropriate events. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass this important legislation….”
Celebrate LGBT shame month by praying that the Wrath of Jesus Christ may be visited upon the sewer that is San Francisco
I wish he wouldn’t joke so much. I’m sure there will be 50 comments here blasting Weiner after assuming he was not actually speaking in jest.

I don’t think so, YFC. While the outrages of the LBBT+ agenda continue to sink this country into moral oblivion, in this case Wiener has no chance to see this further outrage operating in a city even as corrupt as San Francisco. He is simply scoring political points with his constituency.
Everyone should watch the excellent documentary by Matt Walsh titled “What is a woman?”
It exposes the trans-ideologues as lunatics who resent having to defend their views in rational discussion.
All Dems are that way: they resent being questioned. They want to be dictators, and everyone else is just supposed to accept it.
The culture wars exemplified.
Knowing the LGBT syndicate is in control of the culture, Islam has the right solution in this regard
Many people of today, will never understand morality, until the churches get busy, with good religious and moral training, straight from the Holy Bible. Catholics should concentrate on good Catechism training, first– and the so-called New Evangelization, after that. Years ago, I remember devout Catholics in parish groups, like the Legion of Mary, etc.– going out to knock on doors, evangelize, making conversions, bringing fallen-away Catholics in the neighborhood back to Mass, etc. They all were brought up with good Catechism training. The post-Conciliar New Evangelization, which isn’t followed through very well– and all the modern “gimmicks” — didn’t exist. What religious background does Scott Wiener have? Is he a fallen-away Catholic??
His Wikipedia entry states:
Personal life
Wiener is openly gay.[121][122] He is Jewish.[123]
You left out the footnotes. Or else you forgot to activate the footnote links.
Children should be raised by a married Mother and Father. Gays do NOT have the right to raise or influence children.
Also, Drag Queens should NOT be allowed to be near children in our libraries.
So goodbye, Scott, and please let the door hit you on the butt on your way out.
But looking at the bright side, you will probably enjoy the whack on your backside.
Kids need to be kept safe from toy makers, like Mattel. Mattel just came out with a new Transgender Barbie Doll. Poor Ken– what will they do now, with the Ken Dolls? Make the Ken Doll gay? Hope parents can thunder and threaten loud enough at Mattel headquarters to make them stop all this.
I once had a friend who was a talented pianist, talented at both Classical and dance-band Jazz piano. In those days, nobody talked about homosexuality, but in high school, he once revealed that he might have that affliction. He wasn’t Catholic. But he was a great guy, admired by all. From high school onwards, he had a very busy musical career. A talented soprano fell madly in love with him, and he found himself attracted to her. He was encouraged to try dating her, and the two fell in love and got married, in college. They soon had a baby, whom he adored, and he tried to be a good husband and father. When the gay movement got going, he one day told his wife, that he really was gay, and she was heartbroken. They divorced in the 1970s, and he went and ruined himself, finding his lifetime gay partner. They shacked-up, and pretty soon– they both fell ill with AIDS and died. And left a heartbroken former wife and half-grown daughter. I think gay pervert sex acts should be illegal.
If we, The People, can accept Senator Wiener as the representative he is, without making such a big deal out of his sexual choice, it can be seen he has contributed good changes for his District, right? It will be up to us all to keep the good leadership, while keeping that sexual change out of it and not letting it poison the good moves he has made for his constituents — Elected in November 2016 and reelected in 2020, Senator Scott Wiener represents District 11 in the California State Senate. District 11 includes all of San Francisco, Broadmoor, Colma, and Daly City, as well as portions of South San Francisco.
In the Senate, as described in his website, Senator Wiener works to make housing more abundant and affordable, invest in our transportation systems, increase access to healthcare, meaningfully address climate change and the impacts of wildfires, reform our criminal justice system, reduce gun violence, reduce California’s high poverty rate, and safeguard and expand the rights of all communities, including immigrants and the LGBTQ community. Senator Wiener has authored 65 bills that have been signed into law. If we can not let the manageable personal deviation drown out all the good he does his constituents, that would be great, if he keeps that deviation out of his leadership moves! My opinion.
