Next Friday, Good Friday, March 29th, will be the Closing culmination of our Sacramento 40 Days for Life! Please participate!  Here is the Good Friday flyer with all the details!  We will be praying at all five abortion businesses in our area, starting at 8:00 am at 729 Sunrise a the Roseville Planned Parenthood, 9:00 am at 2322 Butano at the abortion business across the street from Country Club Plaza Shopping Mall, 10:00 am at 53rd/F where the abortion business across the street from Sutter Memorial Hospital does abortions through six months of pregnancy, 11:00 am at the busiest high-volume abortion business in our area Planned Parenthood at 29th and B Street downtown Sacramento, then 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm back at 1750 Wright Street for the remainder of the afternoon on Good Friday to give witness to the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross for our sins at the place where innocent life is still being sacrificed.

Bishop Jaime Soto will lead a seven-church pilgrimage in Sacramento (with prayerful meditation at each church in Spanish) on Saturday, March 30, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, located at 1817 12th St. in Sacramento. The public is invited to attend.

The seven churches that pilgrims will visit are St. Elizabeth, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, St. Francis of Assisi, Sacred Heart, Immaculate Conception, Holy Spirit and Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine. There will also be a short stop at the state Capitol. There will be no need for shuttle cars back to St. Elizabeth Church, since the last stop, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, is only five blocks away from St. Elizabeth Church.

Pilgrims will pause in prayerful meditation at each church to meditate on the seven last words of Christ. Pilgrims will be eligible toreceive a Year of Faith Plenary Indulgence by following the particular designations of the Diocese of Sacramento (see link below) for the Year of Faith.
