Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 12:13 AM By charlio Roe was written by “Justice” Harry Blackmun in the Mayo Clinic law library, so that there would be no interference in the privacy of the “personal decision” of abortion – between a woman’s physician and her physician (he, himself & him). That is to say, it was all about ensuring that doctors could have complete freedom of operation without having to answer to outside “lay” authority. (Prior to “legalization” efforts in 1967 on the left coasts, many abortions were perpetrated by 3-man medical commissions operating in hospitals to certify “medical necessity”, the fiction that ultimately resulted in abortion for “psychological health” – de facto, carte blanche abortion on demand.) I know a young woman “H”, resident for a time at Bishop Gallegos Maternity home, who was seen by a UC Davis Medical Center, female physician at the old Libby Cannery medical offices at Alhambra & Stockton. The doctor told her, “you have too many children, I’m going to give you an abortion”, and she did. Freedom of (strikeout) choice (end strikeout) compulsion. |
Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 3:25 AM By Abeca Christian Why are we writing an article on this woman and giving her more publicity. Read the ending of this article, this article goes both ways, it sounds like it is giving her the power to voice her support or it tells others what her views are but more leaning in her favor if you ask me. It may serve as a warning to let us, who are pro-life, know what the enemy is up to but does it have to convey that it goes either way? It is also reaching out to her supporters and as we all know, many are Catholic too. Not everyone puts the puzzle together, the faithful may but others won’t. Those who are managing to redefine Marriage are now also calling baby killing other things to desensitize the murderous action! |

Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 8:47 AM By JMJ Why doesn’t someone force her to prove that “8000” of these abortions have been done in her state? This used to be called back-alley murders, except now the victims can go through the front door with their cash in hand (no checks or charge cards, please) and thinking that they are in good hands, will destroy the life of the child & possibly their own health. One has to wonder if people such as Kehoe has any common sense at all. Keep praying for her salvation and for far too many others just like her. +JMJ+ |

Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 9:49 AM By Catherine Christine Kehoe, Why are you searching for co-sponsors to murder more babies? I think you need co-sponsors in prayer for your conversion of heart. Your sweet smiling face in the photo above surely hides the very evil motives you support. If I were to ever meet that same smiling face pictured above, in the supermarket, I would never believe that such a sweet looking woman had lost her way to such a heinous degree of evil. What happened to you Christine? Who hurt you to make you want to hurt babies? Christine, Do you believe in God? When Holy Scripture uses the word, “Hell” in a rather scornful tone, it means just what God chose it to mean, neither more nor less. When Humpty Dumpty *abortion providers* have a great fall and never repent before they face God, all of the kings horses and all of the kings men could never put Humpty Dumpty back together again. Your earthly mission to non-surgically murder babies is as offensive to God as the surgical murdering of innocent babies. Stop searching for co-sponsors to murder God’s children and please start searching out where you want to spend your eternity. God is never fooled by duplicitous smiles. God also sees the individual face of every baby that a non-surgical or surgical abortionist kills. While being killed, there are no smiles, like yours pictured above on those little faces Christine. God loves you as much as he loves every baby that is murdered. Please tell God how sorry you are and stop offending Him! |

Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 11:07 AM By Maryanne Leonard Aspiration has another meaning, as when a woman aspires to become a mother to a child. The procedure that future ex-State Senator Kehoe describes certainly must feel like surgery (or more precisely, murder) to the baby as it is being killed. You would think we could outlaw abortions on the basis of laws against murder, would you not? Especially since a person murdering a pregnant woman can be charged legally for the murder of two persons. It’s true what they say, that the law is an ass, and it will be ever more so if this horrifying proposal is passed into law. |
Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 11:30 AM By Toni I bet Planned Parenthood is involved here. Another way for them to increase their take from the baby-killing business. The law says that only licensed physicians can do abortions in California. Does that mean that Planned Parenthood has broken the law, or that the University of California has broken the law? In fact, both have, and Kehoe wants to make it all legal – retroactively. Welcome to the California State Legislature and the University system! |

It has been promoted by the very extreme edge of the pro abortion Feminist lobby. Just think of the results: perforated uteruses and partly aborted babies. |

Posted Saturday, January 21, 2012 4:45 PM By Abeca Christian Abortion is the worst form of child abuse, to the point where it kills, just ask the unborn…..oh but wait, they are already dead, no one to represent them, it’s no wonder that it is those who are already born, who are selfish and narcissistic that they neglect the rights of the unborn to have the right to be born. That right does not exist, it’s only up to the born person such as the woman who volunteers to walk in, into an abortion center. |

When my younger son mentioned some things that he learned at school that were not true nor realistic, my youngest son kept saying but my teacher said it was correct. Then my eldest son said “well if your teacher said that your skin was the color purple instead of white, does it mean you are purple?” My youngest kept arguing about the falsehood of the teachings that he learned at school and my eldest son kept telling him “then OK your skin is purple.” My son then said “im not purple, I’m white.” My eldest son then said “OK then, I believe you but remember to always check to see what you are being taught especially when mum is telling you the right way, believe mum first, she knows best.” My son taught me to use scenario’s and examples to help some understand what one is trying to convey. : ) |

Posted Tuesday, January 24, 2012 12:10 AM By Abeca Christian Thank you JLS and I hope they are listening and embracing with their hearts what we teach them with love in Christ. My eldest seems to struggle with that sometimes. Being a parent can be a humbling gift sometimes our kids can humble us, that is for sure. That humbling moment can come in any way God allows it too and sometimes it is due to man’s choosing to sin. We give life to our children because God willed it for them to be conceived but it takes our full participation and obedience but someone people choose to not permit God’s will to be done, they interfere and thus we are faced with these tough times and the unborn are the victims. God have mercy and may more woman choose God’s will no matter how difficult it may seem sometimes. |
Posted Tuesday, January 24, 2012 12:14 AM By Abeca Christian From website on “from the glories of Divine Grace: St. Thomas teaches that the whole world and all it contains is of less value before God than the grace of a single soul. (S. Th. 1-2, q. 113, art. 9, ad 2). And St. Augustine maintains that the whole Heaven, together with all the Angels, cannot be compared to this grace. (Ep. 1 ad Bonif., cap. 6). It follows, then, that man ought to be more thankful to God for the smallest share of grace than if he had received the perfections of the highest spirits; than if he were made king of heaven and of the whole world, with full possession of all power and dominion. How infinitely superior in value is grace to all the riches of this earth! And yet the least of these riches is often blindly preferred to grace. The most detestable created good induces us to cast away grace sacrilegiously—in playful jest, as it were. There are always men who wantonly surrender to the enemy of their soul this plenitude of gifts, including God Himself, for the mere indulgence of one sinful, unchaste look. More inconsiderate than Esau, they lose an inheritance greater than the world for the sake of a miserable momentary enjoyment! |

Posted Wednesday, January 25, 2012 6:51 AM By JLS Parents have to provide their own strength to their children to do good and resist evil, as their children learn how and develop strength themselves through faith in their parents and in God. I once helped deliver a calf in a farm field, and it immediately stood and ran; we chased it and caught it just before it hit the barbed wire fence … pretty much what parents are always doing with their kids, heading them off before disaster. That farm field was a very civilized place, safe in the day except for some minor dangers, but at night dangerous with packs of stray dogs and who knows what. With kids there are temporal dangers and also, unlike with animals, there are spiritual dangers that parents have to always be prepared for. Night can begin at the barbed wire fences; parents can never blink … one did the other day at the moment his young daughter stumbled and was swept away by an icy river. I once complained to a priest about how negligent my parents were, and he instantly explained that they fed me, clothed me and kept me safe as I grew up; it was one of those rare moments when I simply could not come up with an argument and could only agree. |
Posted Wednesday, January 25, 2012 9:12 AM By Maryanne Leonard Is it possible that the cultural practice of not naming a child until he or she is born is actually contributing to the widespread practice of aborting these unnamed children? Should we be promoting the naming of a child upon first discovery of his or her existence? Could we get a law passed that required a death certificate for each aborted child, complete, of course, with a name? Would this help reduce the murder of unborn children if people had to go through this procedure, and the abortion was then a matter of public record? As it is now, women are not subjected to the shame of having the public aware that they are complicit in the murder of the children and therefore just as guilty as the person wielding the knife or other medical instrument. They get away with murder, literally. This could be a law that we could get passed while we continue working to overturn the present laws allowing abortions to take place. |

Posted Wednesday, January 25, 2012 11:52 AM By Catherine Abeca, The world has surely lost it’s way! A few years ago my neighbor who was adopted at birth, went to a special class to learn how to find her adoptive mother. My neighbor researched and finally located her birth mother. She even got ahold of an old high school yearbook and she opened the page and asked me if I could pick out which photo was her mom. I immediately saw my neighbor’s face on a pretty young girl’s photo in the yearbook. This neighbor allowed me to be in her house the day she made the telephone call to her birth mother. My neighbor dialed the number and a woman answered. She asked the woman who answered if it was a good time to talk and the woman said it was. Then my neighbor said, “I was born on such and such date at this hospital, does this particular date have any significance to you? The woman immediately said yes and the two tearfully and rejoicingly spoke for two hours on the phone. The woman told my neighbor that when she was 16 she got pregnant and she overheard her mother scheduling an abortion. This young 16 year old went to school and told a teacher and Protective Services came that very same day and placed her in protective custody in a home until she gave birth and gave her baby up for adoption. When my neighbor made this call to her birth mother she was expecting her third child and her birth mother flew out for the birth and she cut the umbilical cord in the delivery room for her daughter and new grandchild. The woman was Catholic and she said that she had been praying every day for her baby to come and find her. The grandmother who arranged the abortion did not like the father of the baby because his occupation was not classy enough for her liking. Man plans and God laughs. The people that adopted my friend worked at the exact same occupation that the grandmother deemed unworthy of allowing her grandchild to be given the gift of life. “For man proposes but God disposes; neither is the way of man in his own hands.”— Thomas a Kempis |
Posted Wednesday, January 25, 2012 2:19 PM By JLS Abeca, although I grew up in a mega city, I have spent lots of time in the outback and the countryside. It is more rigorous, it keeps one healthier, and it allows one to take part in a kind of communications with that part of creation that is incapable of sin … the conversation in this environment is astonishing. After all St Francis preached to the birds which all gathered to listen to him. I believe it because once I began to mimic the sounds of soaring raven, and they would answer back. Of course they kept their distance; however, the amazing peace that would flow through St Francis would likely radiate in some mysterious, yet probably natural manner and draw in the birds to perch and listen. So I do not see that legend as a fable but as a fact … not as a miracle but as an event in the natural order … Recall Jesus beginning his ministry by simply calling men to Him … and they dropped what they were doing and followed … natural order, because they could immediately see His goodness, peace and charity. St Francis was poor of all the things that the birds feared, and so they went to him to bask in the light of their Creator that he reflected. |
Posted Wednesday, January 25, 2012 4:14 PM By Abeca Christian Catherine what lovely sharing of your neighbor. Posted Sunday, January 29, 2012 12:17 AM By Abeca Christian Catherine I don’t know if you recall reading about a pro-life mum who lived in Seattle or Washington ( Frankly I don’t recall what state now.). She was very active in the pro-life movement. I read that her daughter went and had an abortion. Well I remember crying for this mum for losing their grandchild and for the poor girl who bought into the lie, and wondering what went wrong, how did her daughter miss out on those graces and gifts of pro-life great examples that her mum and family set for her. I remember sharing with my kids this story because I wanted them to know that it’s real out there, that laws will undermine parents knowing of such things and school officials will cover up a child who will want an abortion. I told my kids how wrong that was. Also now with 12 year old’s allowed to make personal decisions on whether to vaccinate themselves without the parents knowing, is truly awful as well. Also on the indoctrination of gay lifestyles etc. My poor kids, they are probably tired of us having to warn them of such things, that they feel like their are the only ones because many parents just don’t talk about those things with their kids until it’s too late. Lets pray for our youth and all parents. God have mercy on us all. |
