Pope Francis called Monday for a universal ban on what he called the “despicable” practice of surrogate motherhood, as he included the “commercialization” of pregnancy in an annual speech listing threats to global peace and human dignity.
In a foreign policy address to ambassadors accredited to the Holy See, Francis lamented that 2024 had dawned at a time in which peace is “increasingly threatened, weakened and in some part lost.”
Citing Russia’s war in Ukraine, the Israel-Hamas war, migration, climate crises and the “immoral” production of nuclear and conventional weapons, Francis delivered a list of the ills afflicting humanity and the increasing violation of international humanitarian law that allows them.
But Francis also listed smaller-scale issues that he said were threats to peace and human dignity, including surrogacy. He said the life of the unborn child must be protected and not “suppressed or turned into an object of trafficking.”
“I consider despicable the practice of so-called surrogate motherhood, which represents a grave violation of the dignity of the woman and the child, based on the exploitation of situations of the mother’s material needs,” he said….
While commercial surrogacy contracts are common in the United States, including with protections for the mothers, guarantees of independent legal representation and medical coverage, they are banned in parts of Europe including Spain and Italy….
In Italy, where surrogacy has been banned for years, the issue has emerged recently as the conservative government of Premier Giorgia Meloni has opposed registering both parents of children born via surrogacy overseas….
From AP News

Pope Francis has been right about everything. You can set your watch to his time, if you know what I mean.
Twice a day His Holiness is on spot.
Still more reliable than Vigano’s sundial.
Maybe His Holiness could condemn the equally deplorable practice of same-sex “marriage”, instead of abetting the confusion created by his prefect, Card. Fernandez.
He has.
Pope Francis says one thing, then puts in power those who say and advocate another. The priest called Fr. James Martin flat out blessed two people of the same sex as a couple whom he said had been “married” for a long time, and he says Pope Francis agrees with it. If Martin is lying, why is he not punished and told to tell the truth instead of being rewarded? As one of the good bishops of Africa said, “We are not stupid. Blessing two men or two women as a couple is gives approval to it. The videos are all on out there. It cannot be denied.
Correction to seventh and eighth line. “as a couple is giving approval to it” and “videos are all out there”.
Archbishop Gomez approves of Fr. James Martin’s gay ministry. Why else would Fr. Martin be speaking at Gomez’s Religious Education Congress next month?
He might be afraid of losing his “job”, but a man has to stand up and be a man sometime. As the Lord Jesus says in Revelation (the Apocalypse) sooner or later he spews out the lukewarm. One cannot keep straddling the fence forever.
Pope Francis needs to do something about his Tucho– Cardinal Fernandez. Today, I read an article from the National Catholic Register, now owned by EWTN, all about another erotic book written by Cardinal Fernandez– Tucho. In English, it is entitled, “Mystical Passion: Spirituality and Sensuality.” The book describes the soul’s union with God, of the holy Saints, in very erotic terms. He even describes a fantasy sexual encounter of a 16-year-old girl, with Jesus, on the beach, at the Sea of Galilee. This will deeply hurt many devout Catholics. He looks like a groomer for clerical sex abuse– like Fr. Marko “Rapenik”— Rupnik.
The cardinal noted that he canceled the sexually themed book shortly after its publication and “never allowed it to be reprinted.” He added that he wrote it for young couples “who wanted to better understand the spiritual meaning of their relationships” but then realized it “could be misinterpreted.”
“That’s why I don’t think it’s a good thing to spread it now,” Fernández said. “In fact, I have not authorized it and it is contrary to my will.”
Which means somebody is really working to find dirt on him. Such a sin.
There is also an article– very shocking!– on “Tucho’s” filthy, erotic, blasphemous book, on “LifeSite News.” “Tucho” might as well open a pagan brothel, a pagan temple with prostitutes, dedicated to pagan gods! He is certainly no Christian!
I think he ought to be excommunicated and laicized. British missionaries tried for centuries, to help eliminate the abusive, evil practice of girls and women being sold into temple prostitution in India, where they supposedly served pagan gods. This abusive, evil practice existed in many ancient pagan cultures, and is also mentioned in the Bible.
All those involved in detraction need to confess.
Face reality. This is not “detraction.”
I read Tucho’s reply to outraged Catholics, regarding his pornographic books. No. He is as untrustworthy as Marko Rupni.! Keep your kids far away from him. He has no respect for Christ and His Blessed Mother, no respect for the highly important Virtue of chastity, no respect for the holy, lifelong vows of marriage, at the altar of God, in the Catholic sacrament of Holy Matrimony. No respect for the teaching that the married couple, in their conjugal life, must bring forth all children which God may send– that is the reason for procreation. Christ is at the heart of the life-giving sacrament of Holy Matrimony. It is a vocation to become more Christ-like. The Holy Family is our beautiful role model for married couples and their children. We have many saints who were married couples, with children– among them, are the parents of Pope St. John Paul II, and the parents of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. The holy sacrament of marriage, and the conjugal life of the bride and groom, blessed, sanctified, and uplifted to God in their marriage vows, must never be abused and trashed, blasphemed, belittled, mocked, and destroyed by pagan pornographic filth.
This story will turn out to be another dud, a “nothing burger”, just like the previous manufactured “controversy” about the other book (“Heal Me”) turned out to be: a dud.
Fernandez has responded that he would not write the former book these days, only because it may be misinterpreted. I daresay he is right about that.
It will be misinterpreted by those with ill-will, by those who have corrupted in their minds the natural God-ordained beauty of human sexuality, including the human orgasm, by those who have a low IQ, and by those who are weak of faith, so weak that they cannot fathom how God can be present in human sensuality. They have no imagination.
People who have no imagination, but who only function in scrupulosities will be among those who will misinterpret this book. As St. Paul wrote, “We who are strong ought to put up with the failings of the weak…” (Rom. 15:1). So, it’s best not to put such a book out there in order not to further confound the “weak.”
One thing about Fernandez is that, judging from what he has accomplished so far (and he’s been on the job only since July of last year), he has shown himself a solid theologian; he has written finely nuanced documents that has confounded the detractors of the Pope and the Church; he is totally bringing it to the ultra faux-traditionalists by responding soundly to their unjust critiques; and he is cognizant and responsive to the wiles of some of the Pope’s critics.
So, there is no doubt to me why outfits like the the faux-traditionalist blog “Caminante Wanderer” would dig up this book. They’re fearful of him so they want to embarrass him and to marginalize him.
I say, Pope Francis chose a brilliant prefect for the DDF.
Poor Fernandez, so misunderstood. Which cardinal hasn’t been a little naughty in his youth? Maybe written a pornographic book or two? We are lucky that Playboy didn’t take him from us.
So “bedware’s” words exhibit the mood that outfits like “Caminante Wanderer” perhaps want to cause with their little “investigation” behind Fernandez: contempt for the hierarchy of the Church and undermining the Church’s Magisterium.
Catholics, resist this attempt to undermine your Catholic Faith. Ask Our Lady to help defeat their efforts.
Wow, I’m almost flattered and definitely wrong-spelled. Your logic and moderation (not to mention, piety) conquered me. You have my vote for best comment of Cal-Catholic.
Holy Mary, pray for us.
The fact that he wrote this trash is reason enough to give him the boot. No need for anyone to wrap this disgraceful action into a positive.
“It will be misinterpreted by those with ill-will…” Once again, jon, you characterize critics of Abp. Fernandez in such a way as to invalidate any criticism of his writings. The question in my mind about ‘Mystical Passion: Spirituality and Sensuality’: does Abp. Fernandez still hold to its contents even as he distances himself from them? Also: if his understanding of the relationship between orgasm and the experience of God is clearly set forth in the book, on what basis does he (or you, jon) worry that his position will be misunderstood?
I am appalled by your defense of the “brilliant prefect for the DDF”, whose obscene writings were deemed even “too lewd and explicit to post on Twitter” by journalist Diane Montagna.
This is the man whom Pope Francis entrusted with Doctrinal Purity: a pornographer-priest, with a deviant enthusiasm in describing a 16-year-old girl’s erotic encounter with Jesus Christ. Fernandez should never have made it through the priesthood. Period. To argue otherwise is self- deceit.
If a “journalist” like Diane Montagna were to pull quotes from Fernandez’s book taking them out of their proper context, then yeah, she’s opening herself to misinterpreting the book and will erroneously judge it as “too lewd and explicit.”
Taking quotes out of context from Fr. Karol Wojtyla’s book “Love and Responsibility” (written in 1960 before he became bishop) will lead a person to the same erroneous judgment.
For instance, take this line from “Love and Responsibility”: “Similarly, the natural goodness of a woman cannot suffice in the long run when she sometimes “simulates an orgasm” (as claimed by sexologists) in order to satisfy a man’s ambition.”
Is that line “too lewd and explicit”? As I had said, to those who take that line out of context–well, yeah.
My point is that those who have ill-will by taking quotes out of context, or those who have a low IQ, or who have a weak faith, and no imagination, they will the things Montagna will say.
jon, apparently my questions to you (January 10, 2024 at 12:56 pm) did not spark any interest in a deeper look at Fernandez’ thought. And so you proffer superficial comments on Diane Montagna that require documentation and analysis. Maybe some here are content to accept your claims at face value but I require something much more thorough. I do not consider myself as having a low IQ, ill-will, a weak faith, or being unimaginative. If I may go back to what seems to be the central issue: what is the relationship, if any, between orgasm and the mystical experience of God? Does that not take us to the heart of the matter?
Let’s put it this way, “Daniel Gallup” (aka “Dan”): I have read enough of your previous comments to have formed the judgment that those who genuinely are friends of Pope Francis and who truly desire to submit themselves to the teachings of the Catholic Magisterium would not have made similar comments.
“…would not have made similar comments.” So jon, those who do take the time to read Fernandez’ Mystical Passion or F.S. carefully and having done so find fault with these texts, are thereby false friends at best to Pope Francis? Who better serves the pope: one who unreservedly submits to all texts (I am thinking of F.S. in particular) or one who makes clear the deficiencies in these texts with a view to fraternal correction (assuming the corrector is a bishop, or in the case of Africa and F.S., a host of bishops)? You evade any effort to discuss the content, as I asked you to do twice now, of Fernandez’ contributions. So far it seems either you can’t or you won’t. That is your privilege. But then please cease calumniating those who differ with you (low IQ etc.).
https://www.americamagazine.org/faith/2024/01/09/fernandez-book-sexuality-ddf-doctrine-246835
Tell that to Paris Hilton.
I wonder if some long-time commenters have died. You never hear from them anymore. Wish them well.
I blame Fiducia Supplicans. With so much of the Catholic world in turmoil over it, it boggles the mind and stills the tongue.
You’re right. I’m still in shock from reading some excerpts from the past writings of Fernandez. I suppose he heard some of this sick stuff in the confessional. Parents beware to whom your underaged sons and daughters confess, if they are pushing perversions like “same-sex” marriage, take your children and run like hell is after you and don’t look back. The good bishops and people of Africa are furious as well they should be. What good is a person who say one thing but enforces another. No more pope explaining for me. This cannot be explained away.
It can if you believe in God.
What God? The god or goddesses of Sodom?
Holy Trinity-Father Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
His Word is in the Bible. Jesus Christ, the Son, is also the Word of God.
But the Holy Trinity does not approve of the desecration of our bodies, and that is what sexual immorality is. Our bodies are meant to be Temples of the Holy Spirit and treated as such. Read todays second reading in the Ordinary Mass, I Corinthians 6. All else is idolatry.
Anne TE, please, the book is not about sexual immorality. It is about how to be holy. It is about mysticism.
I understand that it is over the head of a lot of people.
Fernandez’s writings cannot be compared to the Song of Solomon, nor to St. Theresa of Avilla nor to St. John of the Cross, nor to St. John Paul II”s “theology of the body, nor to Archbishop Cordileone’s explanation of Christ and his bride the Church. They did not get down in the gutter.
I find the graphic parts to be more than I want to hear and maybe it would be a sin against modesty but not intentional.
We live in a time where an actress just had “lady parts” beaded onto her dress for an awards show.
This may be a really timely thing as so many people have forgotten God and spirituality and are so interested in sex. Let God be God.
Getting on track as to the article, the popes are right about surrogacy. First, most methods used on women are highly damaging to their bodies. Next, surrogacy is a form of prostituting women as in most cases the sperm of men not their husbands are used. Lastly, it is unfair to the children produced as every child has a right to a mother AND a father. To deliberately deprive them of two opposite sex parents is evil.
St. Nicholas of Myra pray this abomination ends.
The African bishops are not furious. They gave the best assessment.
They understand it but they cannot implement it because
“The language of Fiducia Supplicans remains too subtle for simple people to understand,”
What racist garbage!
The African who said it probably would not agree with you.
It might be due to many individual posts being disallowed. People tend to shy away when that happens.
“It might be due to many individual posts being disallowed.” In the past I have had a few posts disallowed, but fewer now as I attempt to attack ideas rather than people, and if I differ with posters, usually ardent defenders of Pope Francis, I try to keep it civil and thoughtful (as much as I am able). I don’t want to give the editors reason to fail to print my thoughts which, right or wrong, I deem important. And I want those who oppose my point of view to respect the weight of my words; at this I admit to being far less successful. I am no moral philosopher but a retired math teacher.
So people should never shy away if they feel they have a voice, a contribution–only they should try to bring dignity and respect to the table.
I admire your thoughtful posts and your resolve to keep things respectful.
Victor Fernandez, age 35, publishes a book he wrote about kissing and giving hickeys.. The content is quite erotic and at times suggestive of violence against women. Then, at age 37, he publishes a second book, even more lurid and lascivious. These were not youthful indiscretions. They did not occur before his ordination. The man was certainly old enough to know what he was doing and to anticipate the consequences of these publications. He was already a Catholic priest.
This is a pattern. At least it clarifies why Amoris Laetitia and Fiducia Supplicans are so bizarrely written.
If anyone has copies of Victor Fernandez’ two books, I suggest you hold onto them They are now collectors items.
What those who wish to harm to Pope meant for evil, God meant for good.
This is the Year of Prayer and the book is about prayer.
Prayer is not just rattling off Hail Mary’s in order to get something that you want.
No. These books should never be kept, and considered as collector’s items. Throw them away. No one should read this pornographic trash, and wrongly think that it is Catholic teaching.
When I was growing up, sex was considered too vulgar a subject to discuss. Morality was deeply instilled by the Catholic Church– and by Protestant churches, too. There was lots of respect for Christian Morality in America, in that era. A mother would discuss the facts of life, and morality, with her daughters, and a father would discuss that with his sons. All of the churches– Catholic and Protestant– taught and instilled Christian Morality in their parishioners. Good character and abiding by Christ’s moral teachings, was very important. Sex before marriage was– and still is– a serious mortal sin. A Catholic who committed a mortal sin, must immediately go to Confession, and change their life. We used to have the Legion of Decency movie ratings, and book ratings, too. If a rebellious boy went to see a “C”-rated (“Condemned”) movie, or read books on the forbidden list– that was a mortal sin, and he must go to Confession and change his ways. Kids must grow up with good character and abide by Catholic teaching, and lead a good life. In those days, veneration of the Blessed Mother was strong. Confession lines were long in our churches, and many Catholics went to Confession every Saturday. Priests were more involved with parishioners and their families. The work ethic, and selfless service and sacrifice to God, family, Church and country– was strong. Pornographic books like the two written by Cdl. Fernandez, with false teachings– blasphemous, filthy, and sacrilegious– would have been vehemently condemned by the Church, and “Tucho” would have been completely silenced by the Vatican– and no doubt– he would have been kicked out of the Catholic Church. We used to have a much better Church, and a much better, more responsible populace, in our society– less sin, less crime, much better people, and a a much nicer world. Marriage and Family were the heart of our society and our Church– just like it always should be. Most people found a spouse and got married young, and started families. Children were much safer, we never had to even lock our doors– and church doors were seldom locked, too! Priests, nuns and prelates were highly respected, as well as Protestant clergy. We still had problems, but our world was so much better, then! I daily pray for Christ to completely overcome the terrible Death Culture, and for His Culture of Life to be established on earth.
We used to get a lot of sermons on Morality, and the necessity and value of mortifications of the flesh, and offering up penances to God. After Vatican II, all of that teaching disappeared. Many Catholics (including me) used to have the Sacrifice Beads of St. Therese, the Little Flower, a Rosary-like set of ten beads, to use to offer up to God little sacrifices, acts of love, each day. It was a usual practice, to offer up to God, anything painful or difficult. Once, I was on a retreat, and I and a few other girls got stung by a bee, when we went outdoors for a walk, during a break. It was very painful. We received First Aid, and all through the rest of the retreat, we were reminded to “offer it up.” Everyone laughed, because we got a mortification to offer up to God, on the retreat. Laughter helped ease the pain. You can offer up your little acts of mortification, your acts of loving little penances, to ease the pain of others, who have much worse sufferings to endure– like children in the hospital, suffering and dying of Cancer, and a thousand other good causes. Shame on Tucho. That is what he should preach.
Well guess what, in a recent homily by Cardina Fernandez, he did preach out offering oneself up to the Lord.
On Dec. 3, 2023 he preached: “‘And then offer oneself to him as a handful of clay ready to be molded, ‘Mold me, Lord, as you will. I trust in your love, you know what is best for me, do with me what you will.’”
These unjust attacks on the Cardinal are groundless and baseless.
You need a sense of reality, not fantasy. Stay away from Tucho.
How often are you even around this person?
Probably never.
He does not affect you in any way.
Except you torture yourself by reading things on the Internet that you can’t handle.
Offering up little penances each day, in union with Christ’s Sacrifice on the Cross, in reparation for sins, is badly needed in today’s world. “Tucho” should preach this, and practice it, himself. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, as it says in Sacred Scripture, and should be offered to God in a loving sacrifice, in service to Him and to mankind. The body belongs to Christ, and must never be defiled. In the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount, Christ said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
Ears open to obedience you gave me…
Obedience is the sacrifice most desired by God.
Self-emptying, denial of self and yes acceptance of the injuries and opposition of the world.
Now you can offer up your distress over Cardinal Fernandez’ book.
There are Super bowl commercials worse than this book.
I am sure you grew up in the days when Lucy and Ricky couldn’t sleep in the same bed.
Times have changed.
The people who are after Pope Francis and Cardinal Fernandez-do they realize all they do is upset old women and everybody else says “so what?”.
So what, pornography? Godless, mindless morons, hippie revolution TV perverts, just have to see Fred and Ethel in the same bed, too. Let’s not upset the “me generation” moronic perverts, by telling them how low their I.Q.’s are. Lucy and Ricky had comedy talent and class. They produced a great show, with good family values. They would never have ever lowered themselves to low–class, trashy “me-generation” bedroom scenes.
The story is not that 30 years ago Cardinal Fernandez wrote a book that he thought better of and it is graphic (not pornographic) in some passages concerning sex.
The real story is that someone who has it in for him and Pope Francis circulated this out-of-print book to news reporters.
That is the story somebody should be following up on.
Nobody in the world would be effected by this book if someone with an agenda wasn’t spreading it around.
God knows who they are.
doesn’t change the fact that Tucho wrote it
doesn’t change that it is irrelevant
No, it is certainly not irrelevant. That man has poor character, and should not be in the Catholic clergy. Neither should Jesuit Fr. James Martin, ex-Jesuit Fr. Marko “Rapenik” Rupnik, ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick– and a great many others. These are evil men. Not good men suited to do God’s holy work. Fiducia Supplicans is deeply flawed. And you do not want such a man to be your parish priest.
The real story is that Tucho is corrupt to the core. Just like Jesuit Fr. James Martin, ex-Jesuit Marko ‘Rapenik” Rupnik, and many others. He has no business being called to serve at the Vatican — especially, as the Prefect of the Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith. He should never have entered the seminary. .
Define corrupt please.
Read the Holy Bible and Catechism, and become a good Catholic ristian. Learn right from wrong, repent of your sins, learn how to live right, by Christ’s teachings.
Will do.
Behind the scenes Desi Arnaz Sr. was having an affair on Lucille Ball. Things are not as innocent as they seem, but thank God, the movie was kept decent. and gave some people hope that somewhere, someplace, sometime married couples could get along. I think actors and actresses were kept in separate beds to avoid such affairs in real life, although the Arnaz and Ball were married. Too much close contact among unmarried actors and actresses only led to trouble.
When you go to see a play, or watch a TV show or movie, it should have a good story, a good script, and good acting. It is just for entertainment, fun and frivolous You do not need to see two actors, a man and a woman, in bed. That’s ridiculous. The entertainment industry in Hollywoid badly needs a goid Code of Ethics, good standards. Some Christian actors today, will not accept a kiss in a script, some will just do maybe a light peck– they are married, and believe that their work should not involve anything close to adultery. Acting is just another job, to pay the bills.
yes, there are…and they’re not run on EWTN
But now St. Peter’s in Rome has announced that it will bless gay unions. The pope’s church is going to bless sodomy and its female counterpart, whatever they call that. The day a couple of queer sodomites are blessed in St. Peter’s is the day I reassess my loyalty to the Church. It will depend on the optics. If the optics show support for sodomy and gay unions, then Rome will have fallen and there will be a wasteland of meaninglessness in the world. At that point, really, why bother anymore?
” At that point, really, why bother anymore?” Why bother? Because your fidelity to Christ matters–your prayer, devotion, sacrifice, love for others–indeed, your own desire to obtain mercy at judgment requires a strong show of mercy on your part in this vale of tears. You console our Lord by fidelity in difficult times. And I grant you –these are difficult times.
Very sad, that all Vatican clerics have stated that they will bless gay couples in St. Peter’s Basilica. However, it was reported in the news, that so far, no one has asked for the blessing from them, in St. Peter’s, at the Vatixan. Sacrilege! PF and Tucho need repentance, and to commit their lives to Christ. And to declare “Fiducia Supplicans” nullified, and promote the Catholic group, “Courage,” for gays.
Nothing in the book is immoral.
Yes, it is weird that a priest wrote some of that stuff and I strongly disagree with some of the things he says about female experience.
But it is not immoral.
A teacher who wrote that stuff would be fired.
A Catholic priest who wrote that stuff should definitely be fired– and defrocked, and run out of town.
He repented.
Sorry I got sucked in by the troll that hijacked the thread. should have ignored it.
God created human sexuality as a part of a lifelong, loving union of one man and one woman, who exchange holy vows of Marriage, in the Catholic Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
God created human sexuality as a part of a lifelong, loving union of one man and one woman, who exchange holy vows of Marriage, in the Catholic Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Sexuality is ordered to the married, conjugal love of one man and one woman. Marriage bonds between two baptized Catholics are sanctified by this holy Sacrament. Conjugal love is elevated by God, and sanctified by Him, in Holy Matrimony. The married man and woman are blessed to bring forth beautiful, beloved children, created by God, in their marital union, which is blessed and sanctified, by God. This is God’s Truth. It is very holy and beautiful. My Mom taught us all of this, and more, when we were growing up. Cardinal “Tucho” needs to be educated in God’s Truth, and must learn to deeply respect the holiness of Catholic Marriage, with Children, and the Catholic Home and Family. This holy Catholic teaching must never, never be defiled again, by “Tucho.” Give him a book by Ven. Fr. Patrick Peyton, the beloved “Rosary Priest.” How about Rosary Pledges, once again, and the Rosary to be encouraged daily, in the Catholic Family Home? How about turning off the TV and media, and saying the Rosary nightly, after dinner, as a family?
This is a good simple teaching of a mother to a child.
We are not children.
Yes, you are a child. A child of God. Always. Christ’s teachings are not simple. You must not be disobedient to Our Lord, like Adam and Eve. Christ suffered and died on a terrible Cross for your Salvation. He took your sins with Him to the Cross. We are all called to obey Jesus Christ in His teachings regarding Chastity, self-control, self-sacrifice, and Holy Matrimony, and the sanctity of Marriage and Family with Children. It is only in following Christ that we can become mature, and fulfill our true destiny as human beings, just as God created us, in His tremendous Divine Love for us. God has a tremendous Divine Plan for our lives! And He wants each one of us, whether single, married, or in the priesthood or religious life, to grow in Love and holiness, and become mature, in our fullest potential– and to attain Eternal Life with Him in Heaven. Each pathway of life is a life of maturing in Love and holiness, a pathway to Eternal Life in Heaven.
Very beautifully put. The priest at the mass I attended today said basically the same while quoting St. John Paul II and other saints. It was pertaining to the second reading from I Corinthians chapter 6: “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? but whoever is joined to the Lord becomes one Spirit with him. Avoid immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the immoral person sins against his own body.”
did you listen to the podcast on perfection?
Do you ever read or listen to the excellent works and sermons, of the outstanding Jesuit priest, Fr. Joseph Fessio? He is very faithful to Christ’s teachings. His podcast on “Perfection” is one of them. Do you listen to or read his other excellent works, and sermons? Same.exactly, as Anne TE’s excellent post.
