The following is an excerpt of an email sent out by Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California:
Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California (PPAC) released the following statement from President and CEO Jodi Hicks regarding Governor Gavin Newsom’s budget proposal for the 2022 – 2023 Fiscal Year.
“The budget put forth today by Governor Newsom is another step toward leading the nation in prioritizing sexual and reproductive health care, including access to abortion. The investments included for workforce, IT and security infrastructure, and subsidies for premiums for abortion coverage in Covered California, along with the Administration’s commitment to working with the legislature to address barriers to care, are critical to California protecting and expanding access to abortion. This budget proposal provides flexibility and opportunity for increasing access to abortion; however, these investments are only part of what we must do if California is going to continue to lead in the reproductive health, rights, and justice space.”
“We look forward to continuing our work with Governor Newsom and legislative leaders throughout the budget process to develop the details that will ultimately increase access to and affordability of abortion care – making sure California continues to build upon its status as a ‘Reproductive Freedom state’ amid extreme and dangerous restrictions being implemented around the country.”

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Amen! This is such a crime on humanity!
The picture caption, “Governor Gavin Newsom smiles with Planned Parenthood supporters,” says it all.
As an eyewitness last century reported, “I was a young man living in Germany during the holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. I attended a little church with my family from the time I was a small boy. We all heard about the atrocities that were happening not far from us in Auschwitz, but it was too difficult to comprehend. What could we do anyway? There was a train track behind the church, and week after week we would hear the sound of the whistle and the clacking of the wheels as the train passed. It never bothered us. We grew accustomed to it. One morning we heard noise coming from the train. It was the sound of wailing and moaning. We were shocked when we realized that there were people in those box cars! They were being led away to death.
Week after week that train whistle blew, and we heard the sound of those poor Jews crying out. It was so disturbing that we devised a plan. We moved up our song service, so that when the train passed we would be singing. We sang as loud as we could to drown out the cries. If per chance we still heard them, we just sang a little louder.”
Maybe if we just “sing a little louder” we won’t notice and be bothered.
I called the offices of the Governor and my State Assemblyman, and State Senator, and gave a message to the receptionist regarding this terribly wrongful situation. Hopefully, lots of Pro-Lifers did the same thing!
Wasted your time. California is a one party state, and whatever the Democrats want they get.
one-party state– It is only in recent years, that California
has become strangled by liberal immoral Democrats. Why don’t you put in your comments, to your political leaders? That is what our democracy is for. Never give up. Be a Christian witness for Christ, always. Everything can change.
