The following comes from an April 28 Live Action press release.
Live Action today released a third undercover video exposing Phoenix, AZ late-term abortion doctor Laura Mercer and an abortion center counselor who would leave a newborn, struggling for life after a failed abortion, to die. This is the third in a series of undercover videos, found at www.liveaction.org/inhuman, involving the illegal and inhuman practices of late-term abortion centers, as well as describing in horrific detail what happens to the mother and baby in a late-term abortion.
When asked by the undercover investigator what would happen if the baby were to survive the abortion, Linda, an abortion center counselor, admits they would not help the baby:
Sometimes they are [alive], yeah. But it doesn’t–it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will come out whole. ‘Cause they use suction, plus they use instruments so sometimes the fetuses don’t come out–you know, it’s not complete…
Investigator: But if it does come out whole…I mean, are–will they resuscitate it? Like, will I have to take care of it?
Linda: Uh-uh… No… They do not resuscitate.
“This video is just the latest evidence of a disturbing and horrifying trend occurring inside America’s abortion industry,” said Lila Rose of Lila Action. “The horrors of the Kermit Gosnell trial are a widespread problem in this industry. Dismembering and destroying innocent children, leaving born babies to die, injecting poison into the chest of a tiny child so that he slowly dies in his own mother’s womb – this is all standard operating procedure in the abortion industry. But these children are human beings. They have the same basic human rights and deserve the same protections all of us enjoy.”
Doctor Mercer tells an undercover Live Action investigator who is 24 weeks pregnant:
We do the injection, which is a quick poke through your belly, um, and that stops the fetal heart, so that makes it so, if you were to deliver, there shouldn’t be movement. There shouldn’t be any of those things… Yes we induce a demise–an intrauterine demise… Um, death.
Then the Live Action investigator asks whether an ambulance should be called if the mother goes into labor during the two-day procedure. Dr. Mercer instructs the investigator not to call:
No, call us first…if you showed up in an average emergency room with an emergency room physician who’s not a gynecologist, probably has never seen or done a termination, they will treat you as though you are somebody with a desired pregnancy…
Investigator: So they would basically like try to take care of it.
Dr. Mercer: Right they would intervene and do all kinds of crazy things that you don’t need to have done to you…
Live Action President Lila Rose condemned the “barbaric, inhuman, and deeply disturbing” practices espoused by Dr. Mercer and the late-term abortion center staff at Family Planning Associates Medical Group. “The testimony we’ve documented in this abortion facility strongly suggests that staff there are committing infanticide,” said Rose. “The Family Planning Associates Medical Group needs to be investigated immediately, and delicensed. Women are at risk during these brutal procedures, and this is a matter of life and death for these children.”

These murdered children are USA citizens and they need to be protected from not only these abortion groups but also from their mums who are permitted to murder their children.
These monsters only feed off the women who voluntarily bring in their young to be murdered!
…And those who come in against their will! Please pray for the women who are young and sexually abused who find no protection for them or their babies in these horrific places. Please also pray for the women who have been indoctrinated, “re-educated” by our society, schools and even some churches to believe that abortion is the answer for their “problem.” Please pray that all decent people join together to protect the unborn and the young girls and women who fall prey to this industry.
Alice Amen!
Abeca,
Try telling the abortion “President” and his wicked wife that! You might even try it while they are receiving an award at a “Catholic” Institution of Lower Learning sometimes from the hands of local “bishop”!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
Mr. Fisher I wish I could personally tell that to the President and his wife. Probably the secret service will arrest me for trying…God have mercy…I didn’t vote for them….but as you can see, they still won. That Bishop shamed us….which Bishop was that? Would be best that we tell that Bishop what he just promoted.
When you said ‘wicked wife’ Kenneth, Ahab & Jezebel came to mind. Not a bad comparison, sad to say.
Those who are Catholic here are some important quotes from our infant church:
From St. Clement: “Those who use abortifacients commit homicide.”
From St. Basil the Great: “The woman who purposely destroys her unborn child is guilty of murder. The hair-splitting difference between formed and unformed makes no difference to us.”
From St. Augustine: “Sometimes their sadistic licentiousness goes so far that they procure poison to produce infertility, and when this is of no avail, they find one means or another to destroy the unborn and flush it from the mother’s womb. For they desire to see their offspring perish before it is alive or, if it has already been granted life, they seek to kill it within the mother’s body before it is born.”
From St. John Chrysostom: “Why do you sow where the field is eager to destroy the fruit? Where there are medicines of sterility? Where there is murder before birth? You do not even let a harlot remain only a harlot, but you make her a murderess as well. Indeed, it is something worse than murder and I do not know what to call it; for she does not kill what is formed but prevents its formation. What then? Do you condemn the gifts of God, and fight with His laws? What is a curse you seek as though it were a blessing? Do you make the anteroom of slaughter? Do you teach the women who are given to you for a procreation of offspring to perpetuate killing?”
From our most current times:
“Give us the grace – When the sacredness of
life before birth is attacked, to stand
up and proclaim that no one ever has t
he authority to destroy unborn life.”
Pope John Paul II
“It is a poverty that a “child must die”, So that you may live as you wish…”
Mother Teresa
“There are two victims in every aborti
on: a dead baby and a dead conscience.”
Mother Teresa
”I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is “Abortion”, because it is a war against the child… A direct killing of the innocent child, “Murder” by the mother herself… And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love… And we remind ourselves that love means to be
willing to give until it hurts…”
Mother Teresa
“God’s love does not distinguish between the
infant in the mother’s womb or the
child or the youth or the
adult or the older person. In each one God sees His
image and likeness. Human life is a m
anifestation of God and His glory.”
Pope Benedict XVI
…..and if there be any doubt here is biblical:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13
As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones are joined together in the womb of her that is with child: so thou knowest not the works of God, who is the maker of all. Ecclesiastes 11:5
In Jeremiah 1:5, God says:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Where is the outrage? I guess homosexual agenda driven folks who run at every opportunity to defend gay lifestyles lack an outrage for this sort of reporting.
Infanticide has many names and nuances ,and Phoenix is quite creative with their contribution. No other word for neglecting to revive. Why not let volunteers immediately take possession of the child and revive it? If the mother doesn’t want it, no sweat on her nose.
good cause wrote….”Why not let volunteers immediately take possession of the child and revive it? If the mother doesn’t want it, no sweat on her nose.”
Thank you! That IS a good post that defends the beautiful gift of life.
“When man abandons the supernatural it is only a short time before his actions become unnatural.”…GK Chesterton
“The true object of all human life is play. Earth is a task garden. Heaven is a playground”…..GK Chesterton
Abeca, sad to say, there may be no outrage among members of the general public in this country, who no longer see and appreciate the wonder of babies as a gift from God but rather see unwanted children as an unbearable burden and a great interruption to their lifestyles in many cases. These are the “Great Entitled,” those who so desire a life of self-indulgence and ease as to be willing to murder a baby to retain or attempt to attain it.
As a Catholic and a woman who cares deeply about babies and about preventing their murders, I am experiencing the outrage you asked about, Abeca. At the moment, I feel overwhelmed by the horror of it to the point of being unable to write anything cogent or coherent about it and would call on those built of sturdier stuff to take up the cause that astounds and confounds me, even to the point of not fully understanding why this battle should even need to be fought.
Does not every living being owe his or her very existence to both God and a large group of highly inconvenienced other human beings who bore, birthed, cared for, fed, clothed, housed, guided, educated and provided for them for years in order for them even to function as adults in this amazing world? Is not the debt alone sufficient to motivate the passing on of the care to the next generation, to say nothing of the tender delight one takes at the mere sight of a baby, or the wonder of watching that baby grow into the fullness of its destiny?
Maryanne Leonard you are very pro-life and have been consistent here through this blog…even if you didn’t post anything, I already know that you are hurting inside at this news and others. My own mum who is very pro-life, now gets depressed at hearing about these types of news, she says she feels very helpless inside. I use to share with her all sort of news about the unborn but I guess my mum can’t handle hearing it anymore…since she suffers with depression I stopped sharing too much gory details….but she does pray and tries to keep sane.
Just because something is legal doesn’t mean that the human mind can handle it..what any decent person would agree to murdering our most helpless unborn.
The liberal schools are hypocrites, they teach about the horrors of the Hitler era but they are so blind that they are repeating history but this time it is against the unborn and their mums….Obama the new softer Hitler….why? because he is more likable and appealing…is a great speaker and knows how to deceive…little does he know..he is has embraced deception too…..the liar of all is using him.
MaryAnne Leonard,
” I feel overwhelmed by the horror of it to the point of being unable to write anything cogent or coherent about it”. It seems to me that you did a pretty good job of writing about that which you say you are unable to write about!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
Mr Fisher I agree…. God bless you and Maryanne!
Oh, thank you, Kenneth. You are always so supportive. Shaking and upset to the point of wet eyes, I felt so helpless and frustrated, not knowing where to begin to fight this war on babies. How do you communicate to people that murder is a bad thing when they don’t value the human being they are murdering, even when that person is a child of their own flesh and blood? It’s a really hard thing to know where to start, because this war has to be a war of words. Even when abortion was illegal, lots of abortions happened – we must remember that. Making it illegal again isn’t necessarily the answer – we have to fight for human hearts. I feel helpless because human hearts are only touched by great emotion such as love, and that means the answer is in spreading the Word and bringing a whole society into the fold. Now there’s a job that feels overwhelming. Until we help people learn to love God, love one another, and even love themselves enough to value their own offspring, I fear we are going to see more and more dead babies in this country. I think the war must be won by love, and I don’t know how you instill love in the hearts of people today. I’m having a hard time feeling love for murderers myself – how could I possibly be of help in showing others how to choose lose over murder? I’m just one, fairly ineffective voice, and so many stronger, younger, clearer voices are needed to win this war in defense of babies.
I agree Kenneth & Maryanne, Abeca & Catherine. One thing I find utterly frustrating are the large number of prolife groups. This division weakens the entire movement! I get requests for $$ from at least five of them but I’ve decided to focus on 40 Days for LIfe. If these organizations would unite under one umbrella I truly think we could end abortion in a year. The pro-aborts have one main group…PP. If they were as divided as we are, they would never have gotten where they are. I sometimes think this has become a way of life for some people and some egos get into the way of the greater good. Also, Maryanne, you’re such a sweet person with a heart as big as love, and when you can’t find it in your heart to love these souless people, just ask Jesus to love them for you. As you know, I am always battling hard feelings and anger about people and have had to ask Jesus to forgive me and to forgive them as we’re all so weak and needly. “Lord, have mercy on us”, right? (I know! Easier said than done) Abeca, I know what you mean about your mom. I can’t share with my sister anymore because she gets too upset. I’ve been sharing with our Blessed Mother more and more. She understands so well and I find my burden is much lighter now…until the next time. Ha!
Dana you are right about there being many of them. It’s a good thing but it’s hard to support all of them, I would begin most with your local ones (start from there) and add one that is more bigger that goes nation wide, maybe one that actually is part of being in the media spot light speaking up for the unborn etc….or just pray about it and ask the Lord to guide you and make sure that they are truly doing what they preach…i usually support more the ones that not only defend life but also preach morals and consequences.
It helps women in all stages when they choose life, help them embrace God (faith based) and values etc. Sometimes they help someone choose life but do they follow up, do they make sure that the child is not in an abusive home life, do they teach abstinence/chastity? Things like that…those are just examples : )
Dana, what good points. I hadn’t thought about the various pro-life groups as taking away from the power they would have if united, but you are right. The ego thing is horrible within a couple of those groups, to the point in one case of actually attacking me in various e-mails from the head of the group! No reason for it either, as I am definitely on their sides, but ego control is utterly lacking to the point now of harming the organization in my opinion. Yet who will dethrone these emperors?
I so appreciate your suggestion to me to ask Jesus to love those who are killing their babies. For me it is progress simply not to disdain them but to keep the outrage focused on their murderous actions, not on them. I do feel compassion for those mothers who regret murdering the little babies entrusted to their care. In cases where babysitters murder their little charges, the law goes after them wildly; in the cases where mothers (and fathers, let’s not forget their roles and responsibilities) murder their own children (!), the law says, “For forth and murder.” They got the “m” part of the word right, but from the “m” onward, things take a rapid downhill slide, and we end up with dead American babies and no one sought, arrested, tried, convicted and jailed, except in their spirits.
