The following comes from a Dec. 11 posting on the website of the Cardinal Newman Society.
John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido,Calif., is hosting the 12th Annual West Coast Biblical Studies Conference, the university recently announced. Co-sponsored by the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, this year’s conference is titled “The Mystery of Christ in the Church: A Study of Ephesians.”
Speakers for the event include best-selling author Dr. Scott Hahn, who is also the Fr. Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville and the founder and director of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology; Dr. Brant Pitre, noted author and professor of Sacred Scripture at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans; as well as two theology and Scripture professors from John Paul the Great Catholic University, Dr. Michael Barber and Dr. John Kincaid.
The conference will cover the unique letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians, a letter which has a “highly developed theology of the Church” unlike any other writing of St. Paul, according to the St. Paul Center news release. Talks will take place Friday, January 9 through Saturday, January 10, 2015. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

I recommend attending.
To get the most out of the Conference read Ephesians a minimum of at least once prior to the Conference.
At home, use a Bible highlighter for those passages important to you.
I agree DAVE. This should be great.
Sign up today if you live near Escondido (San Diego).
And mark your calendars for: Friday, January 9 through Saturday, January 10, 2015.
Sacred Scripture in entirety is the speech of God. (CCC 81).
God bless Dr. Scott Haun and his family. They have been a holy witness of our faith. God reward them.
A group of us have attended the West Coasts Bible Conference for the past 5 years. We are very disappointed that it has been changed from a Saturday/Sunday conference held at the Riverside Convention Center and Riverside Marriott Hotel to a Friday/Saturday conference to be held at a Catholic Church in north San Diego City. That time and location is not practical for those of us who work and those of us who reside in LA, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Please reconsider the days and location for the 2016 conference.
