The following by John Jalsevac was published November 26 as part of a series on LifeSiteNews.com.
It was in the mid 90s that we began to hear a whole lot about this new thing called “the Internet,” which could answer all of mankind’s deepest questions. At around the same time I hit puberty and began to spend my time moping about pondering the age-old riddle of what, exactly, women look like underneath their clothing.
Evidently at some point I put two and two together and punched the appropriate keywords into the prehistoric version of Google, with spectacular results. So far so good, and if it had stopped there, the experiment might have been innocent enough. But there was a catch. Like most who have played the peeping Tom with porn, I found that my curiosity wasn’t satisfied. On the contrary. I had only learned what this woman looked like. But what about all the others? Obviously I needed to see a few more examples.
And thus was an addiction born.
For the next ten years or so, I would fight a sometimes-desperate fight with this devil – for devil it is – with occasional successes, and more failures than I care to remember. And but for the grace of patient and loving parents, the influence of a remarkable woman who is now my wife, and a resurgent relationship with an all-merciful God, I shudder to think down what dark paths it might have led me.
I confess that it is not easy for me to make this admission. The most enthusiastic evangelists of the sexual revolution are wont to argue that the solution to shame and guilt is to speak more openly and casually about sex, as we might about the weather, or our health. Never mind that no one is convinced, because in our heart of hearts we know that sex is not the weather, is not our health – that it is something infinitely more strange, more powerful, more beautiful, and that no amount of chattering about it will ever completely deaden that sense of shame that comes from abusing it for our own selfish ends.
However you slice it, a porn habit is a rotten thing.
But there is a kernel of truth in the lie. Shame, when buried in our psyches, can become as a worm in the core of an apple, eating away at us from the inside. For many years, I believed that I was essentially alone in this fight, that I was one of a rare breed of villainous good-for-nothings who was so enticed by this forbidden fruit. It was only much later that I learned that I was but one of millions of my generation who had unwittingly stumbled upon the magic lamp and summoned the evil genie, with the power to grant us our most private fantasies, and who demanded nothing in return but our innocence, our self-respect, our freedom, and our happiness.
We all know the figures, and so I will only mention a few of them: that the average age of exposure to hardcore pornography is now 11 years old; that around 25% of all internet searches are for pornography; that 70% of men aged 18-24 visit porn sites in a typical month; that pornography use among women is growing astronomically.
And the problem is only getting worse. With the Internet creeping even into our pockets through our smart phones, and with porn increasingly spilling over into mainstream culture, it has become more and more difficult to drown out its siren call. Truly, there is, in the whole history of the world, no precedent for what we are now witnessing – the ready availability of explicit, hardcore pornography, with all of its vicious and violent perversions, on demand, in private, even by children….

It used to be bread and circus. In this new era it is Obamaphones and porn. Arghh.
It’s really sad because porn destroys a lot of marriages too. A lot of Catholic/Christian woman suffer this secret in their marriage about their spouses. It is truly an addictive great evil of lust and personal desire for some. I even have a very good friend, who is really a holy wife and mum, her husband often looks at porn secretly, but was caught by his teenage son, of course he denied it and made his son look like a liar. She wants to get help for him but finds no resources in the church to help. Some down play it, even a priest once told her that maybe she wasn’t pleasing her husband enough, she was heart broken that a priest would even say such thing. She never says no to her husband and didn’t understand what the priest meant with pleasing her husband? Did it require sodomy or other sinful role play? She didn’t bother to ask. She regretted deeply going to that priest for help.
I think that it isn’t the fist time some priests and perhaps in general society made excuses for men to this addiction but I wonder if the tables were turned and if it was a woman having this problem, I can see the men getting more support and the woman would be judged very ill.
First, this person who told you about the sins of her husband needs some advice from you. You did not need to know that. Second, Boys need to be educated about their bodies, and their natural tendencies to want to have sex.
I being a married man was going for physical therapy and was working with this woman who was very professional but I constantly could not get her out of my head, I always thought about sex and got those thoughts whenever she was near.
I one day I looked at her face as she spoke and I decided she is not even that beautiful, especially compared to my wife, as she left, I noticed that though she was dressed, her clothes were tight, she was virtually naked, as in every curvature of her body was visible.
So as I was there constantly battling temptation, without realizing it I was looking at a Naked Woman. I went and watched the local news and noticed the same thing. These women are not beautiful, they are displaying their ‘assets’ and that is why in my head my thoughts go to sex and beauty when they are over there.
The moment I realized this, I discovered that its not me who is constantly thinking about sex, its women around me who mess with my sub conscious mind. the legs, the buttocks, every single thing about the way most of our daughters and mothers sisters etc. dress is immodest.
I now consciously will not look at a woman twice if she is immodest, and now that I am aware of this problem, I simply keep custody of my eyes. Make sure if I glance at things that I should not be seeing, I look the other way.
Our boys need to know this about the woman’s body and the way it messes with your primal inclinations.
Wonderful advice!! You’re mature and have the gift “self-control”
I have the added grace of growing up in a different culture other than America where catechism is still taught well.
Interesting Dana, I tend to disagree..
Disagree with what? That the way a woman dresses cannot steer a man’s thoughts towards sex? You better not, for our Lord will hold you accountable for any souls you lead astray. Let’s say a man goes out looking for a prostitute and finds none. Would he pay for sex? To whom? Your daughter would not be there to sell it.
Dressing immodestly is a problem for men who are trying to keep pure minds.
So sorry for not clarifying but the part that I did not need to know about his sins, in her situation, she needed support.
Yes keeping of custody of one’s eyes is a great thing to be taught but also accountability. We still have to understand that the ways of how this world is and we not take off the personal responsibility one has as well. I wonder who lied to your phsycial therapist that she had to look and dress that way. Society play a huge fault in all that and not being taught to be chaste in even in our dressing is affected. We continue to judge while not even trying to make a difference in this life.
A few years ago when my daughter was in a soccer team, the team mum was shacking up and had a daughter from a previous marriage. I remember her showing off her nice house, I listened to her and after she was done, I gently told her that she has a daughter who is now in her early teens and that shacking up with a man was not setting a good example. She said loudly “shacking up.” then continued with ” yes that is true, I didn’t think about that.”. I told her that since it is now customary to shack up, that I don’t judge her for not knowing but because sin has been desensitized. Well a few month later, the guy kicked her out and they broke up. When I saw her again, she hugged me and thanked me for being the only friend who was honest enough to tell it like it is. I reminded her that what she needed was to find good men who can be good role models for her daughter, maybe a good uncle or grandfather, someone that can show her how men should respect women. She agreed but she said it wasn’t easy. She said she grew up thinking she was not worth much by how she saw her dad treat his mum, and how men have make sexual woman so….she thought that in order for her to keep a man, she just had to go along with what is the norm. I told her “no but you can make a difference by loving a man to actually not give in to the norm, but to actually put limitation that honor God, by living a chaste lifestyle, your daughter will see that and learn, also if a man leaves because of those godly choices, then you know he was not worth it.
Mbûkû Kanyau Mbithûka on one hand I understand your old school ways to not share those very intimate details about her husband’s sins but on the other hand, sometimes a woman needs a good friend who can help her through those things…priests didn’t help but only made her feel as if she was the problem. So knowing the whole situation, I can’t blame her. Its not something that was easy for her to talk in private, it was destroying her on the inside for many years. What these men don’t realize is that their sins, like these type of addictions, hurt very much their families. Her wanting to talk to someone she can trust, was only provoked because it was terribly serious, her son ended up seeing the porn too when he found it on his dad’s computer when he was doing homework on it,,,,that is not good! They also have daughters too. These are serious sins, staying hush about it is wrong….the church has not given a strong message of help so what else is a woman to do.
This is why I support chastity groups more than I support prolife groups. Boys especially need help in these areas. Both to understand sin, its nature and its effect and also practical tools on how to stay pure.
This cannot be under emphasized. Groups like Knight of Columbus are not the avenues. I believe men and retreats are the way to teach.
Mostly, the gravity of sin needs to be known. Once a human being understand the love of Christ and the great damage that a sin does not only to one’s soul but to others. For example, watching pornography is a sin against oneself, the one you are married to but its also an assault on those that are engaged in pornography, for you provide the market that drives their actions. Once a soul knows what a sin does to it, there is no price they will not pay to avoid it the sin.
I agree in supporting chastity groups more too. Retreats would be awesome. They do make a lasting impression when done right especially with loyal Catholic experts.
Actually telling people of another persons sins, without good reason (in this case, it would seem she had a good reason) can be a mortal sin. Its injuring the reputation of another person.
It would seem that this husband and wife do not have a good relationship. Your advice to her should be, first and foremost to assure the husband that she still loves him, and then speak of the gravity of the situation he is putting his soul in. If they are Christian, and he is a man of good will, coming from his wife, that will jolt him to action to not only be a better husband, but to love his wife and correct an action that could put his soul in jeopardy
How could any marriage have a good relationship when there is porn, alcohol or any other serious addiction involved. I think that your advice may have been in charity but its not within reality. All I can say is that she is not the problem and she does love her husband, that is why she suffered with that secret in her home life for many years, she even went to several priests, which was a big mistake.
The sin is not ever talking to a friend about it, the sin would be if I was to spread that intimate thing with everyone she knew and I will never, I offered her help and God knows the rest. Now having to help her teenage son deal with that is also a hard thing, her son cried for weeks and even kept it a secret from her mum until he couldn’t no longer hold on to that. God have mercy and I pray for our church to provide more helpful resources, I really appreciate Catholic Answers, I think that they have covered that topic before, I hope more men hear it and get the help they need. For the sake of their marriage and for their children. No more excuses, lets deal with the issue and no more sugar coating it or even keeping it a secret….these are addictions that can get dangerous too.
I want to say that I appreciate our priests and we are blessed to have them so we can receive the sacraments but one must remember that they are human too and not all have an expertise in such subjects, so better to find other resources that can hopefully help better.
Mbûkû Kanyau Mbithûka change physical therapist, if they ask why you are changing, then with charity let them know why, you would be doing a charitable thing for her and may help her make changes in her attire.
Oh, I was outa there as soon as I realized the problem faster than you can say get out. She probably had no idea she is doing that. She was a secularist.
One must really be careful and prayerful when making a decision to go to a priest for answers!
Porno can be habit forming even when the reasons for viewing it are supposedly justified!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
Mr Fisher I agree with you, I have also learned to try to be careful and remember that priests are human too, they don’t always know how to handle or are equipped to help couples with these serious problems. I think that some actually hurt more than help. In my friends case, there was a lot of hurt.
Why don’t we hear more about Mortal Sins from the pulpit?
CCC: ” 2354 Pornography consists in removing real or simulated sexual acts from the intimacy of the partners, in order to display them deliberately to third parties. It offends against chastity because it perverts the conjugal act, the intimate giving of spouses to each other.
It does grave injury to the dignity of its participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others.
It immerses all who are involved in the illusion of a fantasy world.
It is a grave offense.
Civil authorities should prevent the production and distribution of pornographic materials.”
CCC: ” 2396 Among the sins gravely contrary to chastity are masturbation, fornication, pornography, and homosexual practices.”
Those who purposely view pornography (even once) must go to confession prior to receiving Holy Communion or they commit the additional sin of Sacrilege.
ANNE good comments but not only what you posted but also there is harm done to the mind. Pornography changes the person if they continue watching, it desensitizes lust, it is like a recording playing in ones mind over and over again….and especially on men, it can be addictive and it changes their views on woman and even on children…it can sicken the mind to get them to even deeper heavier stuff. There is a loss of human dignity. Some may view some porn as harmless but people forget that it can escalate. First it’s soft porn, then it goes to harder porn, some men have admitted to being tempted to try different kind of porn such as with animals, etc….it’s really disgusting. I wish we could get rid of porn all together. God have mercy on these men addicted to this stuff and may he help them love God more enough to turn away from that. I really feel for woman who have husbands with that problem, it really puts a great strain in their marriage and it is very hurtful.
ANNE and another thing…if more priests, from the pulpit, would preach what you just posted, it can help…sometimes it just takes a person with a moral authority to demand of men and women to work on being chaste and to let them be aware that it is a grave sin and the dangers of it too helps.
I like the movie Fireproof and the movie courageous….they really, even though both are not Catholic movies, but they really do give a strong message, even the Cristeros, really powerful message of godly men leading! . I would like to see more men take a stand, unite together to help each other remain chaste, that every city have groups that help men be men. I don’t mean to insult any man but I feel that this problem is because our men are no longer leading together. There is power in numbers. We women are to fault as well but we are where we are because of lack of true manhood. But if a porn star had a father who really put the fear of God in her, if he loved and protected his child maybe that porn star would of loved her self enough to walk on a chaste path. Who knows but I pray for all our men, God’s blessings and mercy be upon them. God help them.
Go to a Traditional Mass and you will hear plenty about mortal sin and its consequences, HELL!
May God have mercy on America!
Viva Cristo Rey!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
All Priests have an obligation to preach the truth, rather than what may be popular, regardless of the form of the Mass.
We should not let any of them off the hook.
that is true TED…but for some reason, I noticed that in the Latin Mass, it is preached much better, well at least from the church I attend. : )
This past weekend my husband and I went to Mass in Thousand Oaks area while we were visiting, it just made us very uncomfortable, so much lukewarm and my husband noticed a few of liturgical abuses as warned to us from Catholic Answers pamphlet.
Will you listen to yourself TED. You who wouldn’t even listen to JP2 when he preached the truth at a papal Mass that the death penalty is “cruel and unnecessary” are telling us not to let priests off the hook in their preaching? Amazing. Simply amazing.
ignore the trolls TED
The Pope is not saying that the death penalty is unneccessary. Obviously social force is required to prevent crime. For example, the City of Oakland’s crime rate is soaring because it has to downsize its police force. If the govt downsizes death row, then murders and violent rapes will escalate.
The Church has not declared what Bl John Paul preached about the death penalty to be the truth, Anon. Some people seem to be placing the call to end the death penalty on the same platform as the Immaculate Conception. Bl JP did not do this, but self appointed spin meisters do it all the time.
The message of Our Lady of Fatima needs to be spread, and taught, and preached:
“More souls are lost to hell because of sins of the flesh than any other.’
I personally have no interest in going to Hell. I am scared of the place. I really do not want to go there. Yet I love sin soo much too. Otherwise why do I keep doing all sorts of things that are sinful?
Mbûkû Kanyau Mbithûka,
The more you frequent the Sacrament of Confession, the easy it will become to avoid ALL SIN!
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,
Kenneth M. Fisher
What a great article. The reality is that pornography, contraception, promiscuity, homosexuality, abortion, etc. are all interrelated with contraception being at the genesis of all of this. Our lust for temporal pleasure has distorted the reality of human sexuality into something unrecognizable to the Sacramental unity it was designed to possess. The fact that I have spoken with women who encourage their husbands to view pornography leads me to understand why books such as 50 Shades of Grey are bestsellers. I pray we wake up as a culture to the quicksand we so willingly enter and choose to stand upon the Rock of the Lord. God Love You.
MD I agree with you completely. God bless you!
MD this is a great article I know because I had a similar problem not all that long ago. It was not as bad as this poor fellow, but it was there. One thing about porn is that like a drug you need to get a bigger and stronger hit. By the Grace of God, this Cross has been lifted from me, no other reason. However the burn marks on my soul are still there and the temptation is always present, that is why someone with this problem must stay close to the Sacrament of Confession and Holy Mass…I know I do….
For men.
Three aids to purity
1.Daily Rosary.
2.and the three hail mary prayers in the morning and evening in honor of our lady’s purity and asking for ones purity.
A Good practice is to say the hail mary’s in the morning after your morning offering and at night after your night prayer, examination of consience and prayer, before thanking god for a good day.
Wise words.
The issue is not really whether this is a sin or not, But the issue is to teach men how to battle the temptations. Its not enough to speak of it as a grave sin, we need to give men and boys the tools to fight it.
My own experience battling temptation has been a real opener. The Mans mind through how he is created makes it natural to want to pro-create. Sometimes, you will be watching kids at the park with other moms, and without realizing it they are messing with your head just by the nature of a womans body.
God created it to attract those feelings and wants from man. So you have to subject those natural inclinations to reason. If you are not attracted to Women, there is a problem, but you need to be ware of how the secular society dresses.
As for Women, the way you carry yourself, especially how you cover those sensitive parts, like the cheast and the curves could be causing men, even good men to think about things that they are not even aware of as to where the thoughts are coming from.
Most of the porn produced was by men…directing it and taking pictures etc….money greed sure plays a big part in that. Studies show that most women who are lured into those things have either been molested, forced into it, were treated like nothing since they were already having self esteem issues…sex sales and pimps know that all it takes it to look for girls, women who are fatherless or with low self esteem issues to do the job. It is an opportunist who see’s a victim and lures them in or just takes advantage of the person’s body for her gain….do your research, there are a lot of abuse such as drugs and more in that industry. Most of the big mafia drug dealers are men too. Someone is waiting to take advantage of someone with that industry. It is sick! Not everyone can reason…..if men didn’t buy sex, or encouraged porn to be produced….a better world. I watched a special of some professionals even traveling to other parts of the world just so they can have sex with children from poor countries. The problem is far bigger than what MKM states…its time to hold men accountable and women too but lets look at the root of all sin….where it all started.
One root issue and question for MKM is Who told those women that revealing more is in? Since little girls, Barbie was sold to little girls, daddies gladly took them shopping to wear certain styles that are in. What ever happened to “young lady go back and change, that is immodest.”. Now even their mums are encouraging such immodest wear….why are women told to look for approval from men, and who told them to do it the way it is presented today? You can’t tell me that men stopped that, oh no, they want their women to look sexy…who taught women to dress sexy or your husband’s eye’s may wonder else where? An attractive women, even when she is modest is still hard not to notice….are you trying to say that maybe we all should cover them up just like the Muslims do their women? Growing up I was encouraged to be feminine. I enjoyed wearing dresses and yes I had a very tiny waste line, I couldn’t help it if even when I dressed modest, that men still checked me out. I didn’t look for their attention but my smile and my friendly demeanor was their excuse to blame me for tempting them. Really? How sick was that. I always had a very shapely figure but that does not mean I was looking for negative attention.
Answer to why women dress immodestly: power.
Abeca,
You forget one thing. This is first and foremost a crisis of faith. It’s got nothing to do with men or women. These are simply people who have not had an encounter with our Lord. A true conversion of the heart is the answer. It’s not a men are the problem issue. I have one question for you. How are you raising your boys? How are you raising your girls? Do you put them in an environment that encourages respect for other human beings?
Christ and his Church can solve all these problems. The way I see it, this is a problem of evangelization.
My Job is to ensure that my sons and daughters respect themselves and those around them, that they are well catechized and formed as human beings.
Honestly, like Blessed John Paul II said, it’s a crisis within the family. For each and every person in that industry and all their customers have a mother and a father and grandparents etc.
I will tell you this. If my child got involved in this industry. I would disown them, no matter how wealthy they became and I am a poor man. And they know it.
St. John Bosco’s mother told his son, once he was educated before he became a priest, that if you ever get rich, I will never visit you.
In the Italy of his time, it was extremely unlikely one would acquire wealth in a holy and accountable way. She had a point. In my day, if my child were to acquire wealth through sin, I would abandon them totally. They would not be welcome in my home.
Women are no better than men when it comes to sin.
There is a difference between checking out a beautiful girl and checking out her curves. A well-formed mind will keep custody of things before it gets distracted into the gutter. This is what I have been trying to say. By forming boys to be holy, you will allow them to appreciate beauty without going into the gutter with their thoughts.
This is what God intended. As for women, dressing in ways that do not lead the men into the gutter would be a start. Girls need to understand how men brain work. If you are walking away, and a man is looking in your direction, there is a way you could be dressed and be walking that would lead the man’s mind elsewhere, even when they are not necessarily thinking about you in particular.
You got to know, that is how men are wired. So Awareness and holiness, plus the tools to arrest those thoughts that lead one to sin.
What is beauty after all, it’s the thought the look that tells a man, Wow, that woman is so beautiful; I would love it if my babies looked exactly like that.
MKM well I hope from my many posts through this website, that one can tell that I have a zeal to be faithful to Christ and our faith, so I do the best I can to raise our children with my husbands help, they have seen our family pray at abortion clinics, take care of the homeless, reach out to some homosexuals etc etc. I always pray that they listen and follow what was taught to them, but we all know that there are heavy and dark influences out there and they do have free will.
I only speak of from what I learned from holy scripture, that once man, starting with Adam, once he decided to blame the woman God gave him, instead of protecting her, stopping her from being tempted by the serpent, once he took off his part in not taking care of the woman, after all she is from his rib and he was to take care and protect her…..there lay the first mistake man made. Not taking any responsibility off of the woman but understanding how important the man had in his role.
I always tell my sons that if a girl makes a move on them, to push her away gently and to let her know that he respects her and to teach her to respect her self and that she does not need to offer herself to him in order for him to approve of her. I leave the main teachings also to my husband, for he is the what points them to Christ by his behavior. We are not a perfect family, we make many mistakes and we often have our differences here because of our faith clashing with their peers, but we try to install in them the fear of the Lord.
I have always told my kids, if you really like someone, you will not lead them astray or treat them cheaply like a piece of meat and they too should not treat you that way by permitting them or letting them do unchaste things. Well I can go on and on……I only pray that God helps us and that they embrace His graces….Character with integrity, temperance and learning of all virtues and putting them to practice.
Sometimes we try not to preach too much either and try to live by example….I hope that we also have good faithful folks pass their path who will re-enforce what we strive to teach them. Which is rare today, man has lost common sense and common decency.
Its not easy MKM…..I am learning that now as I grow older…maybe if I was liberal and stayed in my career mode working a lot and living selfishly, I may have less headaches but since I have a conscience and I love the Lord, I know that is the not way to live.
I hear you Abeca.
I think women dressed modestly usually look quite pretty and attractive. On the other hand, I find women who are dressed in a slutty manner and in ways that draw attention to their bodies to be embarrassing to look at and often not all that attractive. When women are dressed in feminine clothing they look pretty to me but I don’t care for jeans and sweatshirts that much.
There is beauty that can be appreciated and that does not lead to impure thoughts, that is the way God intended it. For a man to look at a woman as he intended it. With purity of thought and respect.
That is true. : ) and porn destroys that beauty and purity.
The wider question is how do we get our Culture back. Pornography is a good example of how we are being attacked from within. The ultimate aim of these dark forces is the destruction of the Church, in my opinion.
You make sense……
Holiness, evangelization
Gratias, “The wider question is how do we get our Culture back?”
The answer: By first striving to become holy.
Years ago, my uncle, who is a faithful priest said that pornography was one of the final plagues unleashed upon our modern world. I do believe that if those who were addicted to this particular kind of slavery were given the proper tools of knowledge and clearly understood how they are being spiritually attacked in the most vulnerable way, then they would be more open to seek out ways to stop this self-induced scourge of self-destruction. Our Lady of Fatima has lovingly warned her children. How many Catholics today do not know authentic Church Teaching or have never even heard of Fatima? There are many. “My people perish for lack of knowledge.”
No matter how very attractive a person is, if you discovered that each time you visited them, that this very attractive person was deliberately placing increasing doses of deadly poison in your coffee cup, the next time it was offered you would bolt in the opposite direction rather than take one tiny sip from that deadly poisonous cup. Who in their right and informed mind would risk their own physical or eternal life and say, “I want to deliberately succumb to this poison and yield to this painfully tragic death because this person I am choosing to visit is just so attractive and inviting?”
Jesus told us how to get our Culture back in 2 Chronicles 7:14 but it appears as if many are not listening. Many shepherds openly brag about voting for Obama. There are still those who will mock the new bishop of Nebraska for telling us that we can transform the world by becoming holy. Many want their political cake before they want God. They have forgotten the meaning of humility and contrition. They want the truth toned down as to not offend anyone while they are greatly offending God.
We are all individually responsible for the salvation of our own souls but we will also be held personally accountable if we deliberately deny that knowledge to others. While witnessing the effects of this particular sin we can see that we are still descendants of the broken family of Cain and Abel. When God asked, “Cain, where is your brother Abel?” Cain answered: I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
Many sheep have been abandoned with no strong shepherd to be their keeper by teaching them the fullness of the faith or to even remind them that in order to get our culture back, we must first listen to and obey God. Many are not even listening to the Holy Father. They defend perversion before they defend God. If we do not love God enough to get our Culture back through our own contrition and humility, then God will bring it back through Divine Justice. When a shepherd privately rejoices or publicly brags about voting for Obama then he has made a clear choice to serve the wrong Master. This will not bring the culture back.
“And if my people upon whom my name is called, being converted, shall make supplication to me, and seek out My Face and do penance for their most wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land.” ….2 Chronicles 7:14
Dear Catherine:
Verbum sapientae.
