Over 750 Muslims and Catholics from the surrounding area gathered at the SABA Islamic Center on Monday, January 16, for a community event of hope and solidarity. Following the event, leaders from the two religious communities have agreed to form a local Muslim-Catholic Council.
“Let us commit to move forward together so that today’s prayer is not simply a symbolic gesture of good will, but rather, a promise to engage in an on-going dialogue of mutual understanding leading to friendship and common work,” said Bishop Patrick J. McGrath, of the Diocese of San Jose during the event.
Bishop McGrath will appoint several Catholic members and the same will be appointed from members of the Muslim community. The Council will meet quarterly to plan and evaluate collaborative efforts. The multi-lateral aspects of their efforts will include:
Clergy-to-clergy. This would entail regular meetings between Catholic clergy and professional ministerial staff and Muslim clergy and professional staff. These conversations could be about topics that clergy deal with every day, things of professional interest, or possible projects that clergy might want to do together. Some sessions could talk about respective theology and culture, others about hotter items like Palestine. The Council would determine the curriculum of such conversations.
Religious Education; educator-to-educator. These conversations would be between Catholic educators and Muslim educators. Among them, school principals, administrators, religious educators, who would gather to talk about topics that would help respective Muslim and Catholic students understand and appreciate the nuances of religious traditions. It would also help plan and coordinate guest speakers to come to speak to students in classrooms.
Congregation-to-congregation. These conversations would bring Catholics and Muslims together for fellowship and popular education about respective traditions and it would help demystify and demythologize negative impressions. The Council would help create a curriculum and process for these conversations.
“Peace drives our work within our communities and our work in the world,” said the Bishop.
“We must seize this opportunity to work together to make this country a better place for all people. Muslims and Catholics share many beliefs and values which in turn offer a platform to launch our efforts from,” said Moulana Nabi Raza Abidi of the SABA Islamic Center. “We look forward to working closely together to serve our creator through serving his creation.”

Exactly, Jim: this isn’t the first foray that Bp. Dhimmi McGrath and the diocese apparatchiks have made into alliance with questionable Muslim org’s. But the SABA Islamic Center’s previous leader, Imam Rafic Labboun was convicted on 7 counts of bank fraud in 2010 by a federal jury, using credit cards to (the FBI alleged) help fund Hezbollah, and organization dedicated to murdering Jews (oh, you Christians are 2nd on the list), according to AC Democracy.org: They ran a whole series on this “Islamic Center” not long ago:
https://acdemocracy.org/san-jose-californias-saba-mosque-hezbollahs-dirty-little-secret-in-the-silicon-valley-part-of-a-series/
Also:

Also, on the federal conviction of former Imam Labboun, who had fled to Mexico by the way:
https://www.frontpagemag.com/point/143660/hezbollahs-100000-imam-extradited-mexico-daniel-greenfield
Also, in 2011, the Saba Islamic center of San Jose published heartfelt condolences over the death of Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah —Who? He was the imam who had endorsed the bombing and killing of 241 Marines in Beirut in 1983. He also regularly endorsed suicide bombings to spread Islam, the religion of peace, according to AC Democracy.org (cf. above). Praise of Fadlallah is praise of terrorism, plain and simple.
Our US bishop leaders (not all, but a regular batch of them) are dhimmi and dummies. Think of that when your…
…diocesan appeal letter comes later this year.
There is nothing wrong with urging dialogue and communication with fellow Americans. There is no harm done in reaching out. So, your contention is false and wrong. Additionally, you persistently violate Canon Law 1373 by calling our anointed shepherds “dummies”: “A person who publicly incites among subjects animosities or hatred against the Apostolic See or an ordinary because of some act of power or ecclesiastical ministry or provokes subjects to disobey them is to be punished by an interdict or other just penalties.” Beware of those who belittle the ministers of the Church and the ministers of God Almighty.
Beware of those who belittle the ministers of the Church and the ministers of God Almighty. =
No, Jon! Beware of the jons and those who completely ignored God Almighty and still do when they ignore Canon Law 915 yet selectively remember to cite Canon 1373. It is one thing to reach out to give the fullness of truth. It is quite, another thing, to reach out, in a hollowed out impression, to give what’s not even on one’s own shelf.
It IS what it IS and an infiltrator’s (jon’s) task is to *selectively subvert* the fullness of truth and *selectively silence* those who do expose error.
Pray the rosary to defeat error! “In the End My Immaculate Heart Will Triumph!”
And beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing citing “canon law”.
Catherine/AMalley: When was the last time you offered “the fullness of truth” to a Muslim? Why don’t you join this Bishop’s initiative and there you’ll get the chance to reach out? To quote President Trump: “These people [meaning folks like Catherine/AMalley/Campion] are all talk; no action.” Straight up.
Jon, when was the last time you reviewed “your” duty of state? Going on mission to evangelize Muslims is not everyone’s role. The duty of bishops is to teach, not just chat. So, straight up, get on with your bad self and stop the clericalism.
You put way to much emphasis on supposed action. But action, based solely on human agency (that is without serious recourse to Our Lord in prayer) is just a waste of time, talk, and the flock’s hard earned $$$.
AMalley: The bishops are indeed teaching when they forward initiatives like this. They are teaching people like YOU to dialogue, reach out, communicate with those who are outside the faith. That you see inadequacy in that is pitiful: you see black when there is white. Cardinal Mueller was right, as indicated in a previous CalCath article here: the dissenters have inculcated another spirit in their heart that is not the Spirit of God. Division and dissent and disobedience are the spawns of the Evil One. Repent people.
jon, The bishops are called to teach the Faith, not the tepidity of seeking “get along” at the cost of putting Jesus under a tarp in the corner. The laity interacts with the outside world everyday already. (You may live in a cave, but others, no.)
Division and dissent and disobedience are indeed the spawns of the Evil One. That is why the flock, growing fearful as they see the shepherds, those tasked with protecting and defending, driving the flock closer to the cliff of presumption, are bleating in objection to said presumption.
We all must speak the truth. That you plug your ears to it and seem to invite the cliff (the same that Our Lord would not jump off at the behest of Satan) is a problem you must address for yourself.
Jon, read the text of c.1373 [which you quoted] again. It imposes penalties on those who “incite animosities or hatred” or who provoke disobedience. Do you equate all questioning, or even disagreement, with inciting hatred or animosities or provoking disobedience?
It is very appropriate to cite Canon Law. The Devil is very legalistic I am told by exorcists, and therefore citing the law of the Church should send shivers down the spine of the evil that may be lurking in some consciences. If you are repulsed by my citing Canon Law, or are ridiculing me for pointing to the law, beware of that malevolent spirit.
And the Pharisees were smug legalists, too: Jesus saw through them and told them frankly they had a devil as their father. (John 8:44.)
Really, how many exorcists have you actually spoken to, about the Devil’s “legalism”? Aren’t you mirroring his error?
jon, You protect serial killers more than you protect the Blessed Sacrament (Canon 915) This should really rattle YOUR anesthetized conscience because it is enough to send shivers up the devil’s spine.
You reach out by Truth and you reach out by living that truth. You cannot teach what you do not believe. Many of our bishops no longer believe in what the Catholic Church teaches. You cannot give (reach out) what’s not on the shelf.
jon, My daughter’s classmate is Muslim. Her family lived by us for awhile and the mother often visits our home. The mother does not drive so I often drove her to the store or doctor. She knows I am Catholic. She was not interested in becoming a Catholic but she was interested in hearing about Our Lady of Fatima. That was my reaching out in Truth and charity. This woman’s husband is a Serbian Muslim (dark haired) and the mother is a Yugoslavian Muslim (blonde hair). The classmate, (my daughter’s friend) also has blonde hair.
continued…..
continued….
The mother told me that her husband often beat her because in her husband’s culture it was not acceptable to have fair skin or fair hair. The mother and daughter were viewed as outcasts by her husband’s family for being blonde. One day the mother and daughter showed up at my door. The daughter had a red slap mark on her face from her father. The mother told me that if the father knew she was at my house he would harm both her and the daughter. The mother was too afraid to complain to authorities.
continued…..
continued….
The mother then asked me if I would write a letter to explain the good qualities of her daughter so the daughter could move out from their home and be accepted to take some college courses. She also asked me to please include how I saw the slap mark on her daughter’s face. I later received a thank you letter from the college for reaching out to help this young woman. So, jon, If any conversion ever takes place it will be because they were shown kindness and most of all given the fullness of Truth in learning all about Our Lady of Fatima. Our Lady is very famous for bringing about conversions and softening the most hardened hearts.
It is appropriate to cite Canon Law. But in proper context, jon. You misapply your citations to abet splicing the Faith into that which is convenient to uphold your blindness. You uphold the letter, but not the spirit of the law.
So, straight up, look in the mirror and address your own penchant for facilitating empty obedience for obedience sake. Read CCC 675 and ask yourself, in truth, are you accepting the “religious solution”? It would appear from the outside that you most assuredly are, perhaps kidding yourself that saying you were just doing what you were told will cover your blatant collusion.
Anyone who claims 1) “special knowledge from exorcists” and that 2) “the Devil is very legalistic” is clueless.
1) Any knowledgeable exorcist keeps quiet–or should–about specifics of his experiences. Talking about exploits with the Devil is an occasion for Evil Spirit’s advantage. It is entirely Christ who is the exorcist and the Blessed Virgin Mary is she before whom he trembles.
2). The principal sin of the Devil is pride. The Roman Ritual advises the exorcist to avoid listening to Evil Spirit’s claims, but to accuse him of his endless seductions, perversions—and failures–and that he is a defeated captive of the Lamb. A “legalist Devil?” Nonsense. (Then stop quoting canon law, Mr (Fr.) Legalist?)
Zephryrinus is very wrong. The legalism of evil spirits is not “special knowledge”—it’s in Scripture! He is known as the “accuser” in the Book of Revelation, and he is known to accuse Joshua and Job and Peter. He is known to have tempted Our Lord using the “tenets” of Scripture and Our Lord quoted Scripture to thwart that temptation. And Our Lord stood to defend the believer against accusations of the evil one: just as I am standing to defend the legitimate clergy of the Church, even using the law to do so, against the disobedient dissenters here. The only way to defeat the “legalism” of folks here against the Magisterium is by using the law as Our Lord did.
Jon, it’s only appropriate to cite canon law when you know what you are talking about. Your posts prove that you don’t. You’re “lecturing without a license”—or even a licensiate.
Catherine, many of those blond-haired Muslim women are descendants of Christian europeans who were forced to convert to Islam, and her husband probably knows that, and possibly she does too. The Koran refers to the perpetual virgins (houris) that the Muslim men receive in their lustful idea of paradise as being dark eyed. If anyone doubt me, just borrow a Koran from the public library and read it for yourself.
jon has no idea what he is talking about in general (no problem: he just makes it up as he goes), but it is really clear he has no idea about what is entailed in a true exorcism nor how the Devil really works.
Well, he is in good company in the San Jose Diocese.
Anne T., Thank you, for that insight. The wife and daughter were very afraid of him. This man would have harmed them and probably me if he would have known they were asking a Catholic for help. This is why our bishops are being just as dangerously IRRESPONSIBLE for the safety of their flocks as they were IRRESPONSIBLE in guarding our children from sex abuse predators. Ann Malley used the perfect term, “playing patty cake” with Islam and inviting Muslim teachers to subject our children to embrace a dangerous belief system. These bishops have no idea that these Islamic men are simply biding their time and looking at them like “useful idiots.”
So folks, especially roberto vicente and Anselm: Go ahead and prove that quoting Canon Law 1373 is wrong in this instance, and that I don’t know whereof I speak. Go and prove it, since it is you who are making a claim.
What about TRUTH?! What about “extra ecclesiam nulla salus”? Who was right — Mohammed or Jesus? Dear Bishop, remember Christ’s command in Matthew 28:19. He didn’t want pointless conversations. He wants you to convert and save souls. If they won’t listen, shake the dust off your sandals and move on. But please don’t scandalize your flock with this “coexist” hokum.
If they allow Muslim prayer services within a Catholic Church, it becomes “Dar-is-Salaam”, a house [of worship] of Islam — like the muslim prayer niche now inside St. Ignatius Church on Fell St & McAllister in San Francisco, USF’s “College Church”. All Christian churches are otherwise “Dar-al-kufr” (variously spelled), “House of War” or “House of the Enemy”, under Sharia law.
Sad,,, Lord please let the schism happen so the Church can be purified!!!!
You are praying for mortal sin?
I would think the sine qua non for this rapprochement would be the explicit repudiation by the Muslims of all discrimination against the infidels, esp Jews and Christians. But this cannot happen without their repudiating the Koran, their prophet Mohammed, and their history and culture. Absent this disavowal of violence and discrimination, the naive bishop is, and I hope I am wrong, just going to me manipulated.
that’s “to be manipulated.”
So I’ll just say it – I don’t care what the Muslims have to say. I am not interested in “understanding” their teachings, and I am not impressed that Catholic clergy, who so often do a poor job of teaching the One True Faith, the Catholic Faith, will spend time “dialoguing” about Muslim beliefs. Should we expect our churches and financial resources to be used for Muslim “outreach”? Looks like yes.
Come on boys, man up and concern yourselves with the salvation of souls, which by the way, is impossible outside the Catholic Church. This is what you were ordained to do!
What are you doing to “convert” Muslims?
…there is much to be said, jon, for being a faithful and devout Catholic, one who does not give the erroneous impression that Islam is good. It is not.
Heresies are not good. Islam is a heresy; but you know, the modernist heresy of “americanism” is also a heresy. Disobedience and dissent from the Magisterium who is the guardian of the deposit of faith—are heresies. Heresies are not good. It is not!
Rubbish. The world is being engulfed by radical Islam, enabled by their bitterly twisted dhimmi canon-law-bleating, heresy-harping disciples.
This SABA mosque, a radical Shi’ite group now invading the Diocese of San Jose, shows that jon and his dhimmi bishop are not up to the challenge of leadership.
We will get a true Catholic leader eventually—just not from these eager -wannabe dhimmi slaves.
Faithful Catholics expecting their leadership to uphold the fullness of Catholic teaching is not Americanism, jon. Disobedience and dissent from the truth, even if it be mandated by a lawful authority, is not lawful, but rather a misuse of authority.
The Catholic leadership DOES UPHOLD the teachings of the Church. You have offered ZERO substantiation to prove your point.
In the Novus Order church, things keep getting curiouser and curiouser.
There is no such thing as a “Novus Ordo” Church. Our Lord built one Church. Those who persist in segregating themselves from the one true Church, and call themselves ‘Catholic’, are playing into the Devil’s desire to scatter the People of God—to disunite the sheep from the shepherds. And many here have been duped by the Evil One.
The fruits are teasing the flock apart, jon.
But, yes, Our Lord did build one Church. And that is why you’re seeing the winnowing that disturbs you so. Review CCC 675 and ask yourself if you’re accepting the religious solution or standing fast, and perhaps persecuted, at the foot of the Cross.
We are cautioned to beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing, jon, false shepherds.
AMalley, since you quote the Catechism, you should allow the same Catechism to fine-tune and correct your extremism. CCC #30 teaches that: “But this search for God demands of man every effort of intellect, a sound will, ‘an upright heart’, as well as THE WITNESS OF OTHERS who teach him to seek God.” This initiative by this Bishop is a conduit for teaching and reaching out. By erroneously citing CCC 675 you are saying that we have no moral obligation to do something but only to wait for the Second Coming. FALSE! Also, by calling the legitimate and anointed clergy of the Church “false shepherds” you have veered yourself towards heresy and a clear violation of Canon Law. How can one dialogue with a person who holds a position…
like that?
By citing CCC 675, I am referencing the signs of the times, jon.
Your pretense that calling out the bad actions (or just plain idiotic) of “anointed” shepherds precludes the reality that men sin, even one’s with collars.(Judas was chosen, but look how that turned out ;^) There is zero extremism in looking to what is, in reality, a lame and dangerous undertaking and saying NO. (Maybe you would have followed Judas to tree, awaiting your turn with the halter.)
Whereas you may opt to blindly follow, others are called to protect, defend, and be accountable for that which has been entrusted to them. The “Catholic” Faith and their children.
As for merely awaiting the second coming, that is your extremism. I never said that was the…
… plan. But, we must use our intellect and will, jon. Shepherds playing patty cake with Muslim terror groups and pretending a sit down is helpful are delusional and dangerous. A threat to the Faith and our children.
Methinks your deifying priests here. That’s idolatry, jon.
This mosque–the SABA cente—is a radical Khomeinist Shi’ite mosque, as all the info above by the Islamic Counterterrorism Institute.org demonstrates as well as AC Democracy.org shows. “jon” didn’t know his dhimmi bishop didn’t investigate this mosque, which has a history of inviting speakers who justify killing Jews and some of whom advocate killing gays. Dhimmi followers and dhimmi bishops, hand in hand. Now he tries to change the subject. Typical.
Who is changing the subject? My contention from the start is the disrespect shown to the ministers of the Church and that there should be no question that talking and dialogue must be sought. As usual, the aim of those who wish to dis the clergy and their initiatives is to tear down, not to build up. Sad.
What do you expect from a Bishop who publicly stated “While the primary source material of the film (The Passion of the Christ) is attributed to the four Gospels, these sacred books are not historical accounts of the historical events that they narrate. They are theological reflections upon the events that form the core of Christian faith and belief.” And who hosted the 12 Annual National Association of ”Catholic” Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries and allowed X-rated gay pornography to be sold at exhibits during the conferences.
instead of converting Muslims we wish to talk with them why??? 50 years after Vatican II and still these nonsense goes on, is Jesus Christ the Lord or not????
Now concerned catholics what is all the cry foul all about? Hypocrisy has been precedence in the last 4 decades of V2. Did not JPII while in Assisi sponsor in the middle 1980s a “coexist” prayer service over a few days with the Muslims, Buddhists, and other pagan religions on the once Roman Catholic altars in Assisi? There was apparently no plan to convert them to Catholicism, just to jointly worship the pagan gods statues right up there on the altars with the God of Abraham. How could that be, especially when it was sponsored by a saint of the V2 Church? Just trying to understand how you can’t accept this wrongdoing but you can accept similar wrongdoing only committed by somebody else. BXVIth did a toned down version of this…
Now canon-law-quoting autocratic clericalists will never address facts, but try to distract with shrill “warnings.”
Here are more facts about the SABA Muslim Center’s long history of key members supporting jihad terrorism and in their own statements, supporting extremists who have done so, such as for Ayatollah Fadlallah on their own website, cf. ACDemocracy.org), or former imam Rafic Labboun, the FBI says, employed bank fraud to fund Hezbollah (convicted 2012):
The Islamic Counter-Terrorism Institute (ICI) calls the SABA Center “extremist Khomeinist organization”:
https://wiki.islamiccounterterrorism.org/article/Rafic_Labboun
Well, this link O Campion only proves that initiatives like this Bishops’ is HIGH TIME! Why don’t you participate in this Bishop’s initiative yourself to knock some sense in these people who you call extremists. As President Trump has said: “These people are all talk: no action.”
Thank you Campion for pointing out many facts about SABA center. It appears anyone who wants to check out matters about SABA should see:
https://wiki.islamiccounterterrorism.org/article/Shia_Association_of_Bay_Area_(Saba_Mosque_of_San_Jose)
ICI calls the present successor SABA imam, Nabi Raza Mir, “an extremist Khomeinist”.
According to ICI, many other extremist SABA imam speakers over recent years have been: Zaki Baqri, who shouted “Death to Zionism” at SABA on Quds Day, 2008; ex-con Abdul Alim Musa, whom the Jewish Anti-Defamation League says “propagates a radical and anti-Semitic ideology;” Mojtaba Beheshti, another Khomeinist who was finally deported for green card fraud in 2007; and, “militant anti-Semitic…
…mullah” Assad Jafri; and many more. (Did Bishop PJ ever bother to do due diligence and check these facts first?)
The most shocking link for SABA center, by investigative journalist Lee Kaplan, who has been tracking the SABA center for some time:
https://counterjihadreport.com/tag/san-jose/
Everyone needs to read this recent post (1/13/17) by Kaplan, because he notes two other regular extremist speakers at the SABA center: Hamza Sodagar and Farrokh Sekaleshfar, whom he calls “two Khomeinist superstar mullahs”. Both studied in Qom, Iran. Both have spoken repeatedly about the execution of gays. At a “lecture” at York Univ (Canada) in Oct. 2016, Sodagar stated:
“For homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One, the easiest one maybe, is chop their head off, stop their heart. Two, burn them to death. Three, throw them off a cliff…
..Four, tear down a wall upon them. Five, a combination of these things.”
These are the repeated connections that the SABA (Shi’ite Alliance for Bay Area) mosque has with the most extremists pro-terrorist, pro-Sharia speakers, right up to the present time. Why is Bp PJ McGrath having his diocese, of all the possible interfaith groups, associate with them?
Here is the link, by a Christian Arabic-speaking woman, Maryam Nazarie, documenting the extraordinary speech of Sodagar in Oct. 2016, calling for execution of gay people:
https://maryamnamazie.com/hamza-sodagar-everything-need-know-islamists/
Without her translation and documentation, Sodagar’s speech would have remained “under-the-radar”. AS she notes, after being caught, Sodagar tried to deny, as usual (taqqiya), he said these things. Too bad he put it all on video.
“If any one lie with a man as with a woman, both have committed an abomination, let them be put to death: their blood be upon them.” Leviticus 20:13
Just so we are clear, Lee Kaplan @ kaplanwatch.blogspot:
“Hamza Sodagar, lectured repeatedly at SABA between June 2010 and August 2013; in 2010 when he outlined there five horrific methods for executing gay men:
“If there’s homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One, the easiest one maybe: chop their head off. That’s the easiest. Second, burn them to death. Third, throw them off a cliff. Fourth, tear down a wall on them so they die under that. Fifth, a combination of the above.”
Sodagar has repeated this message since then, most recently documented on Oct. 2016 at York Univ (Canada).
Catholics must openly reject this attack on Our Lord Jesus Christ! This will no doubt lead to threats from CAIR about speaking truth about Islam. This is an inroad. Muslims are skilled at deception. The URL for “Bridge-Building To Nowhere” is https://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/2015/11/23/e-book-release-bridge-building-to-nowhere/ .
Hamza Sodagar is an extremist imam, and according to investigative journalist, Lee Kaplan, he and another imam, Farokh Sekaleshfar, have regularly been sponsored speakers in the last 2 years at the SABA center in San Jose:
https://counterjihadreport.com/tag/san-jose/
Everyone needs to read this recent post by Kaplan, because he reports that Sodagar and Sekaleshfar, whom he calls “two Khomeinist superstar mullahs”, who both studied at the extremist mullah school at Qom, Iran, have both spoken repeatedly about the execution of gays. At a recent “lecture” at York Univ (Canada), in Oct. 2016, Sodagar stated that there are 5 ways to kill gay people. (see Maryam Namazie’s video of his speech with translation above).
I am trying…
..to understand why Bp. McGrath and his diocese would wish to be associated with this extremist religious center.
SP: I take it that the bishop is intellectually lazy (he wouldn’t bother look into what these people actually believe) because he a priori believes in the English-language pronouncements of the “Religion of Peace” ilk. There are a lot of people like him, unfortunately for the Catholics of San Jose he happens to be their bishop rather than among the lay dhimmi beta males who inconsequentially populated the Women’s March. “PJ” is in a position to do real damage.

Our bishops are not inviting in anything but their own demise. Church history is repeating itself. It is not a sign of faithfulness to Christ, to align oneself with Gloria Steinem, instead of following Christ. Progressive bishops do not accept many of the teachings of the Catholic Church. Our progressive bishops have taught Christ’s sheep that all religions are the same and that we all worship the same God. That is false.

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee! Charity begins at home and silence means consent. Look at the big picture. There are also four good Cardinals who are also being marginalized and ignored while progressives are rushing in to dialogue with Islam and then bring it to Catholic congregations.
What a cleverly planned appeasing tactic to extend the perpetually stalling arm of mercy toward the members of the SSPX.while planning on embracing tons of dialogue with Islam. WHY are four faithful Cardinals being ignored? Will the SSPX also be invited into local parishes to dialogue about Catholic Culture and Traditions? Will the SSPX also be welcomed in to hear confessions and guide penitents in local parishes?

Inconsistencies in invitations are very revealing, especially when authentic Church teaching is being squelched in many Catholic schools. The faithful see that there is plenty of room at the local parish inns to welcome, embrace, dialogue and study with many who secretly mask their HATRED of Christianity.
“If you prevent us from crying out against the nefarious consequences of Islam’s penetration of France and Europe, you render yourselves accomplices to the violence committed in the name of the Koran by Islam in our Christian countries. It is they who have undertaken this procedure against us, a procedure which truly shows the fundamental racism of Islam against the French, against the Jews and against every religion which is not Moslem.” – Written by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre June 21, 1990

Something is dangerously wrong! Four faithful Cardinals are unmercifully ignored. The SSPX are deliberately stalled, and kept at arm’s length, yet there are teaming coalitions of effervescent dialogue with a belief system that just beheaded a Catholic priest.
Islam patiently bides it’s time until there is a majority. Our bishops are rendering themselves accomplices and subjecting their flocks to the violence committed in the name of the Koran.
Steinem has no children. She killed them all. She is trying to copy what the King of Denmark did for the Jewish people, but Steinem is a traitor to her own people because she hates her father who left the family, and she had to take the place of her father because her mother was weak. She is sad indeed. Lilith cannot save no one; Litlith only destroys.
Correction: “Lilith can save no one.” Gloria Steinem is very much a Lilith.
Must be why she hates all that is female and seems determined to not uplift mankind, but to emulate all that was most oppressive and evil in her perception of masculinity. Makes no sense. Becoming the embodiment of what you “say” you oppose.
Although Mother Angelica came from a similar situation, she took another road, and it made all the difference. She, though celibate, brought forth many children.
God’s First Commandment, etched in Stone!: ‘I am the Lord thy God and thou shalt not put strange gods before me’.
It ain’t any clearer than that! Roman Catholics should try to convert the infidels/pagans; however we should never join or accommodate them in their own pagan rituals and heretical beliefs. To do so is breaking God’s First Commandment.
The present imam of the SABA center, Nabi Raza Abidi, according to the SABA center monitor blogspot Bay Area and also the Israeli National News (Jan 26, 2017), is a supporter of radical Islamic belief, specifically Khomeinism, and is also pro-Hezbollah:
https://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/20060
Hezbollah is designated as a terrorist organization by the US State Department since 1997.
Why is Bp. PJ McGrath and his misguided diocese involved with this anti-Jew, viciously anti-gay mosque?
This is what the Israel National News has specifically to say about Bp PJ McGrath in the Jan 26th, 2017 edition (Are you listening Bp Dhimmi, and dhimmi-accolytes?):
“Bishop Patrick Joseph McGrath was no doubt unknowingly used to put a good face on a bad association by urging his Catholic followers to recognize an Islamist organization (SABA center of San Jose) that is the antithesis of what his Church seeks to promote when it comes to tolerance and peace. ” Israel National News then describes the long association of the SABA center with extremist and violent-inciting preachers:

Based on my experience in the San Diego area, the Muslim-Catholic Council formed in the San Jose diocese will seriously harm the Catholic Church by using it as a bridge to Islam. In the past year, I have attended several Muslim-Catholic events in San Diego, all of which featured one-sided presentations glorifying Islam and promoting it as a religion of peace. At each of these events, attended or hosted by a Catholic bishop, priest, or Catholic faculty member, there was little or no opportunity for questions or even dialogue, much less rebuttal. Islamic speakers were thus given free rein to advance their propaganda and essentially proselytize on church property. Why are some Catholic clergy so reluctant to defend the Faith? According to a…
As someone v well in this chicanery, let me assure you that Christian/Jewish/Muslim faith sharing is a one way street. Our prelates are very nearly criminally negligent even mixing w these Muslim Brothherhood front groups. There is NO religious freedom in ANY Muslim majority country, and these foolish Catholics might ponder why this is. Islam is a vile belief system and I suggest tht Catholics wise up.
Saint Francis of Assisi.
Lee Kaplan (https://kaplanwatch.blogspot.com/) makes another observation about another visiting imam at SABA Center: “Farrokh Sekaleshfar, infamous for proclaiming, “Death is the sentence” for homosexual men, was a frequent speaker at SABA between May 2012 and December 2015.”
Farrokh Sekaleshfar spoke frequently at the mosque in Orlando, FL prior to June 12, 2016—the same mosque attended by Orlando gay nightclub mass murderer, Omar Mateen, attended:

It is almost impossible that Mateen did not hear Sekaleshfar’s diatribes against gay people (and Jews, also, for that matter). And was inspired to act: and act he did.
So, Bp. McGrath and your accolytes (…
‘(“quacking duck-defenders”), why are you associating with the SABA center, without making them renounce their extremist views, first?
TYPO ALERT ” someone v well in..” should read, “someone v well VERSED…” Those responsible have been sacked.
Why are some Catholic clergy so reluctant to defend the Faith when meeting with Muslims? According to a article in World Net Daily, “The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, operating through its Migration and Refugee Services division, resettled more than 22,000 refugees in 2015, with many of them coming from the Muslim-dominated countries of Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Sudan and Afghanistan.” The article also revealed that “more than 95 percent of the Catholic Bishops’ budget for refugee resettlement comes from federal tax dollars.” Further, “the Catholic Bishops, along with the eight other resettlement agencies, must sign a contract agreeing that they will never share their Christian faith with any of the refugees.”

Clearly, some bishops and priests have gone beyond their agreement not to share the Catholic Faith with Muslims by working to promote Islam. They are either unaware of or have chosen to ignore this passage from the Qur’an:
“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as your friends and protectors, they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them for friendship is of them. Verily, Allah guides not a people unjust.” Surah 5:51.
Catholics, please say the rosary every day to combat this evil.

Catherine, every religion has adherents who use their faith to justify abuse. Abuse occurs in 25% of Christian homes, too. Thank you for helping in any way that you could. Catholic priests are much better informed and trained on how to handle domestic abuse situations in their parish. It is very difficult for abuse victims to ask for help. Fear of retaliation exists in every domestic abuse situation. Unfortunately, fears are justified. Many murders occur because of someone trying to get out of that situation. Many prayers needed.
Anonymous,
The Legion of Mary spiritual director once told us that when he received his formation in the seminary he was taught that individuals who converted to Catholicism were to be given a long grace filled time of years before they could ever instruct Catholics, let alone young students. The Church was thriving then with many vocations. Bishops and priests wanted to make sure that the convert completely understood what they would be teaching to impressionable students. They also wanted to ensure that the convert would not drift back to their previous beliefs which would cause confusion or chaos to those who they had been entrusted to teach.

This strict teaching policy was taken very seriously. The priest who taught us this was a faithful example of a priest. He was a priest’s priest and he was a Navy chaplain for many years. It is extremely unwise and dangerous to play “patty cake” and introduce the Islamic belief system within Catholic clergy and parishes. Many do not know their own faith. Priests may be somewhat better informed on how to handle domestic abuse but no one is prepared to handle a belief system that includes lying to further the growing of the Caliphate and also “honor killing”. Much prayer is needed! Our bishops should not be accomplices in leading Christ’s lambs right into the slaughter. They will surely be held accountable by God.
