Michael Voris of ChurchMilitant will be coming to San Diego on April 25 to speak at St. Ephrem Maronite Catholic Church.
Michael will discuss the five greatest challenges and threats to our faith today:
• False Ecumenism
• Indifferentism
• Universalism
• Gay Clergy
• Poor Formation
Michael Voris is the senior executive producer of ChurchMilitant.com, a Catholic lay apostolate whose mission is to promote and defend the One True Faith given to humanity by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Church Militant is organizationally involved in battle against sin, the devil and the demonic, as the sacred scriptures put it: “rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Michael is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. In 2009, he received a degree in sacred theology from the Angelicum in Rome where he graduated magna cum laude.
Priests and Religious enter free of charge to this event. Must show I.D.

“Who let the dogs out?!” Sounds like Voris got hold of McElroy’s playbook by the looks of these talking points and is bringing the fight into the bishop’s own playground! With McElroy’s focus on dialogue, inclusion, and tolerance let’s see how “tolerant” and willing the bishop really is.
The behind the scenes sucker-punching of Church-men that McElroy is so famous for (ooh beware everyone) just might not destroy Voris. Ring-side tickets anyone?
Bishop McElroy cannot do anything about this talk to be given by Mr. Voris, since he will be speaking at a Maronite Catholic Church where McElroy’s jurisdiction does not extend. If instead, he were invited to speak at one of the Roman Rite parishes, then McElroy could forbid the talk and make sure it was cancelled. I hope and pray that the Roman Catholic faithful will turn out in droves to hear the truth proclaimed.
10 to 15 years ago, his list might have been correct.
Now, I would say the top 5 that I see are gender ideology, individualism, rejection of the deposit of faith, lack of confidence in all sources of divine revelation, self-referential morality.
With all love and respect to Michael Voris and his top 5 do still exist but what I see now is different than even a few years ago.
Excellent.
Trust me – he leaves no stone unturned with his talks and if he does, there’s always the Q & A to address an issue not covered.
Anonymous – and to add to the list: – the “newly discovered reality” according to McElroy that there is ZERO (with your fingers held up in a big zero) theological difference between the Catholic “communion” and Protestant communion. The goal once again? Undermine the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist – undermine and destroy the Catholic Church, building a false ecumenism where the parishes will hold new “ecumenical liturgical services” that most Catholics will mistakenly think qualifies as a participation in the weekly Sunday Liturgy. There is SO much that these wolves in sheep’s clothing will have to account for one day.
I wonder why “A hierarchy that’s working to change Church teaching” didn’t make the list. Or this could just be abbreviated as “Bad Bishops”.
If Michael Voris is the definition of a “true Catholic” the Church is really in trouble. Ours is not a church of rules and regulations ( you have to be suspicious of any church that offers a PhD in canon law) but a church of love, mercy and carrying for our fellow travelers. It is a church where we come each week to worship as a community, to hear the Scriptures, to celebrate the Eucharist. If anyone thinks that the salvation of souls will result from rules and regulations, they don’t understand the Christian faith. I’ve watched many of his Youtubes, and find them off the mark for the most part. And then there is the whole coming out drama.
The Church really IS in trouble Bob One, why do you refuse to acknowledge this? Secondly, following the 10 Commandments – RULES – is a good start for those seeking salvation. You are clearly part of what Voris calls “the Church of nice”, and it is not a compliment. Being authentically Catholic means standing up and proclaiming truth, even if you are hated for it. Perhaps you prefer to sing Kumbaya while armies of lay “eucharist ministers” distribute Our Lord as one might dole out cookies. That’s your choice, no need to get huffy over those who prefer another way.
Bob One is wrong once again, we are a Church of Dogma and Doctrine but liberals like you cannot stand that notion. I am suspicious of liberals like you Bob One, that have left a wake of destruction in the last 50 years. Church closings, complete loss of Catholic identity and patrimony in the name of tolerance, this is what your side has done to us. Of course you would find his videos off the mark, because the truth hurts. No Bob One we are not a Church where we come together as a community, but where the ultimate sacrifice is offered up again.
