The June 3 address given by Archbishop Cordileone at the Sacra Liturgia conference in New York has been removed. It is our hope is that the story will be back up once Sacra Liturgia publishes it.

Thanks for printing this. His comments make a little more sense now. (Except please use the term intersex instead of the h-word.)
Homosexual is the accurate term, get over it
I think this is an absolute homerun. Worthy of Papa Benny himself.
Pray for Abp Cordileone, and all the good Clergy in our Faith that they will remain strong and true to God.
Keep God keep them from the persecution of secular society, as well as persecution from evil persons within the Church.
Yes MAC, I join you in prayer with this request. We will never rest, so it seems, but we pray to have rest on what matters the most, rest in peace someday with our Lord in heaven, it is then that we will have eternal rest and all the hardships and persecutions and even peaceful moments here on earth, are only temporary and we are to glorify God during the good times and bad times. Remaining faithful. God bless you and This wonderful Archbishop!
It’s interesting (but not surprising) that there has been much ink spilled (or bytes broadcast) over the tiny part of this excellent address that dealt with “gender”.
I knew there was more to his talk than what I’ve seen paraphrased and I’m glad to read the whole thing. (I did see one recap of part of it on an actual Catholic site that contained part of the good stuff. But those not-so catholic sites did not do it justice at all.)
I thank God every day that I live in the archdiocese of which His Excellency is head! And I see the fruits of his endeavors, many of them presented quietly. I pray for him and the parish priests who support him. I pray for those others, too, that they will see the light!
Thank you for printing in it’s entirety, Archbishop’s words. He does an outstanding job of articulating the majesty of the Holy Mass. I pray very much for His Excellency, for the wolves seek to devour him. May Our Lord strengthen his bishops and priests, that their faith may not fail. +JMJ+
This priest is truly a saint!!
The few sentences of this talk that seemed to get the most press was the bit on gender identity. I found the page from the website of a respected university advertising a housing program for “people of sexually or gender dissident communities”. It is worth a look:

I disagree with the FB comment. Archbishop Cordileone is not the sole defender. He is just the one currently making the news.
The more interesting story would be to know WHY the Archbishop’s address was removed. And whether the Cardinal Newman Society had anything to do with this decision.
Abp Cordileone is truly living out his Vocation which is saving souls. This is what he signed up for in becoming a Catholic Priest. This what a Catholic Priest is all about. Its not about entertaining LGBT. It not about inviting active Homosexuals in a St Patrick’s Parade. Its not about the abomination of sneeking in Homosexuals Priests into the Church pretending they are straight Priests. Its about how Archbishop Cordileone justly is addressing the crisis in the Holy Catholic Church. Others will certainly follow open the flood gates and many Bishops will follow even those wicked Bishops and Cardinals who condone Sodomy might have the grace to repent for their betrayal of Christ for money from the State to fund their Diocese. These…
Where is the piece? I would like to read it.
May His Guardian Angel be at his Excellency’s side today and give him the courage to keep doing honorably by our precious Lord. Our prayers are with all the lay faithful doing God’s will.
Christ Himself made reference to Guardian Angels when he said once referring to children that “their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven” (Matt 18:10).
St. Jerome marveled in reference to this passage “How great is the value of the (human) soul that every single person has from birth received an angel for his protection.”
Guardian Angel,
watch over those whose names you can read in my heart.
Guard over them with every care
and make their way easy and their labours fruitful.
Dry their tears if they weep;
sanctify their joys;
raise their courage if they weaken;
restore their hope if they lose heart,
their health if they be ill,
truth if they err,
repentance if they fail. Amen!
All you holy angels and archangels,
thrones and dominations,
principalities and powers,
the virtues of Heaven,
cherubim and seraphim,
praise the Lord forever.
Amen.
