Father Michael Martin Kelly, Pastor of St. Francis Solano Parish, Sonoma, died on December 7, 2015, at UCSF Hospital in San Francisco. He died peacefully surrounded by his three sisters who had traveled from England and Chicago to be with him.

In 1978 he returned to All Hallows Seminary to continue his studies in Theology and after receiving his Masters of Divinity, he was ordained to the Priesthood on June 14, 1981, for ministry in the Diocese of Santa Rosa in California.
Father Kelly was the youngest of nine children. He was preceded in death by his brother Cornelius. He is survived by his four sisters, Bridie, Margaret, Nuala, and Maeve, and three brothers, Charlie, Jim, and John, nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. May he rest in peace.
