Dear family,

This last week has been very good, although exhausting at times. I’ve been caring especially for the patients who can’t get out of bed, giving them bed baths and ointment, etc. The man I was especially caring for died last Thursday, which was sad but a huge mercy. He was only 28 years old, but he looked so transfigured by suffering. Earlier that same week, I helped take a body to the crematorium, which was a big honor, but very intense at the same time.

I went to the Victoria Memorial over lunch a few days ago (it’s the big white building) and walked around its lovely Gardens. I’m thinking of you and praying for you. If any of you have any intentions you would like me to bring to Mother Teresa’s tomb, there’s a box especially for pilgrims intentions there.

Love you all.

Jack
