The Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs (Office of Passport Services) will host a free Passport Workshop on Saturday, August 17 from 9 am to 2 pm at San Gabriel Mission. The workshop is free and open to the general public offering assistance and guidance in English and Spanish with applying for a U.S. Passport book or card.

On the heels of wrapping up a series of community workshops, the Archdiocese’s Office of Immigration Affairs is offering the Passport Workshop for the first time ever.

“As part of our effort to educate the community on being faithful and responsible citizens, we are partnering with the Office of Passport Services to offer a turn-key solution for people who need to facilitate a first-time passport,” said Isaac Cuevas, Director of Immigration and Public Affairs for the Archdiocese.

Bilingual trained staff will be on site to answer questions, assist with forms and application completion. The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs will be overseeing the collection of passport applications and answering questions.
