Dear Pro-life friends,
Four prayer warriors were praying on the sidewalk when a lone mother who was about to enter Planned Parenthood downtown was approached by the sidewalk counsellor. She kindly stopped, but lamented that she had four children already and was in an unsuitable relationship that she didn’t want to continue by having a child with this man. Yet she wasn’t totally sure about having an abortion either.
What made the difference was her belief in God and the gentle reminder that the child was a gift from God. The quote of Jeremiah; “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” resonated within her, and the counselor could sense a change in heart. Yet, she still wanted to go into the abortion center to determine how far along her pregnancy was. Despite the counselor’s warning of the pressure she would experience inside the clinic to abort, she proceeded into the clinic with a promise to the counsellor, not to be coerced by them.
About an hour later, she came back out of the clinic, smiling and resolved to keep her baby. God is good! Please keep this woman in your prayers.

Those words are from our Lord Himself. Jeremiah was the messenger, as, in a sense, were those sidewalk counselors. May God bless that woman and her family.
That same passage is used by gays and trans to say that God made them gay and trans in the womb.
Any passage of Scripture can be used…and misused.
“Before I formed you in the womb…I knew you.”
So much to meditate on.
