The following comes from a September 6 Valley Catholic article:
Comedian and entertainer Jay Leno will be the featured entertainer at the Archbishop Mitty Black and Gold Gala, November 5. Hosted by the AMHS Board of Regents, the gala has grown to be one of the largest fundraising events in the South Bay. The event benefits Archbishop Mitty High School, and this year specifically the Imagine Campaign in support of the construction of the new STEM and student commons building.
In addition to the comedic talent of Leno, the evening will feature talented and award-winning student performers, in a much-anticipated opening act. Student performers from Exodus, a liturgical rock group, the Jazz Band, the AMHS Sketch Comedy team and the Royals dance team will perform. In recognition of the 25th anniversary, alumni student performers will be returning to the Black and Gold stage.
There isn’t much that’s Catholic about Mitty, believe me. I know people whose kids went to school there. Beatles music and other rock songs at Mass, same-sex civilly married faculty members, religion teachers who openly contradict Church doctrine, a secret gay club for students, a faculty that is nearly 100% in support of Democrats and leftist ideology and the school culture reflects that.
Mitty is a private school that prioritizes recruiting students who will bring prestige to the school without the school having to do much else than admit them: kids with natural sports talent, high scores on standardized tests (for future National Merit Scholar awards), and so forth. The teachers are generally mediocre so the education isn’t great…
“The teachers are generally mediocre so the education isn’t great…”
Been that way since the ’70s as I recall it. All those girls who formerly went to Mother Butler (the all girl academy that was transformed into “Harker Academy”) were funneled out into the hip school with guys, smoking areas, and “streakers” who were featured in the school year book.
They couldn’t understand why one would choose to reject a giddy entree to Mitty and opt for an hour long bus commute to St. Francis in Mt. View. But that too has done the sorry spiral, a reality illustrated when the campus priest was featured in the yearbook in a plaid sports jacket in lieu of clericals with the caption, “Couldn’t get a date.”
Oh, those expensive Catholic…
Taken from Lifesite News: Male teacher and ‘husband’ accused of sexual contact with gay teens found dead

Catherine, what a horrible story! I believe that acts of sexual deviance, ought to be against the law– as in days of old! Acts of sexual deviance, have ruined many homosexuals’ lives, in the Castro District, of San Francisco– and have killed many of them, too! The LGBT’s need to be taught to lead a happy, healthy– and CHASTE life!! All the churches need to help them! It would be great, if their illnesses would be put right back into the psychiatry books, where they belong— and then, make a special place for their needs, as necessary– under social welfare medical disability programs. Each American community ought to have a chapter of a group like “Courage,” that anyone can attend.
I have known people who had different kinds of disabilities, which impaired their daily life, in one way or another– things like epilepsy, diabetes, speech, hearing, or visual impairments, impairments in walking and mobility, and various psychiatric disabilities. Some people also suffer from alcohol addiction, and for some, this is inherited– and incurable– the disease must simply be managed, lifelong, at AA. I think that if homosexual disorders were again classified under psychiatric illnesses/disorders, then the LGBTs would have a correct medical place, for their problems– and also, perhaps programs or treatments of various kinds, to help them manage their disability. And NO gay sex! CHASTITY!!
Excellent posts, Linda Maria, because your words are so true. I think that deep down inside many individuals do recognize their particular disability but when it comes to addictive behaviors and *actions* that become mortally sinful, then without God’s grace, human nature will look for loopholes to escape reality and then gravitate towards those who will make excuses for it or condone it. Now we have a rebellious society where sadly,it is often the case, where the inmates are calling the shots and also running the asylums, or as Sr. Lucia called it, “a world being swept up in a diabolical disorientation.” We need to listen to Our Lady of Fatima’s Heavenly Peace Plan for our world.
