The following was sent by Californa Latinas for Reproductive Justice on November 30.
According to their website, this group counts as Reproductive Justice victories the defeat of three California parental notification ballot initiatives.
After November’s federal and state elections, we know that we will be continuing with the implementation of health reform and California has taken a major step toward raising the revenues needed to alleviate its fiscal crisis. To discuss the full impact of the election’s results, join us for our fall convening series, Equity and the Election: Looking at the Future of Health in California. Speakers, including the California Budget Project and local advocates, will share insights on the future of health reform and the state budget.
The convening will provide participants with:
- The status of health care reform implementation in light of the federal election
- How ballot initiative results will impact the state budget and health and social services programs

All one needs to do is attend a prayer vigil at a Killing Center and he or she will see how “pro-life” my fellow Mexicans really are.
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,

It isn’t just the Black Civil Rights Establishment that are quislings to their own people. I saw the wife of a Latino friend of mine, coming out of the Crest Theatre in Sacramento with her pro-abortion, California legislator boss. Latinos should burn the following quotation into their memories:
“Population control is too important to entrust to some right-wing, pro-life types. Take the recent influx of Hispanic immigrants: Their lack of respect for democracy and social order is frightening. I hope I can do something to stem that tide. I’d set up a[n abortion] clinic in Mexico for free if I could. Maybe one in Calexico would help. The survival of our society could be at stake.…The Aid to Families With Dependent Children program is the worst boondoggle ever created. When a sullen black woman can decide to have a baby and get welfare and food stamps and become a burden to all of us it’s time to stop. In parts of South Los Angeles having babies for welfare is the only industry the people have.”
– Dr. Edward Allred (multi-millionaire, former owner of Family Planning Associates, once upon a time the largest independent abortion clinic chain), quoted in “Doctor’s Abortion Practice Lucrative,” The San Diego Union, 10/12/80, pp. A-3, 17.
ncregister dot com: Mexican Babies Rescued From Abortion Receive Baptism
Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera of Mexico City recently baptized 21 children between the ages of 2 and 6 who were saved from abortion.
According to the news service of the Archdiocese of Mexico City, Cardinal Rivera presided at the ceremony with the friends and family members of the children, as well as with members of the National Pro-Life Committee, who reached out to the mothers to help them continue with their pregnancies.
The event took place at the local parish of Our Lady of Peace on Nov. 27.
During his homily, Cardinal Rivera spoke of the responsibility parents and godparents have to raise and educate their children, and he stressed that now that their physical lives have been saved, it is equally important to tend to their spiritual lives.
“The word of God will give these children the strength for their journey through life,” he said.
He encouraged the parents and godparents to “lead your children to the Eucharist. Only by being nourished in God will they find eternal life.”
The National Pro-life Committee called the celebration a sign of hope in a city “in which, unfortunately, according to official statistics, more than 80,000 babies have been killed in the womb at maternity and infant hospitals in the Federal District.”
The president of the committee, Jorge Serrano Limon, said the baptism of the 21 children is “a blessing, an honor and an enormous joy.”
Abortionists will decrease Mexican, Islander and African-American births to make more space for heir own children.
Thanks, Gratias. (Gratitude is the highest form of intelligence.)
A different view says that, because they want to kill their own children (“It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish” – Mother Theresa), the old WASP Establishment (where are the English, German and Dutch names once so common in the population?), demanded that Eastern and Southern European and Jewish immigrants (the ones Margaret Sanger targeted with her contraception clinics a century ago), kill theirs.
Now the scant remnants of those people (“populations that we don’t want to have too many of”, United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg – “never again”? ALREADY), are demanding that the brown-skinned people whose lands were stolen, and the black-skinned people who were stolen from their lands, do the same to their own children.
When people are doing something wrong, they try to get others to do the same, to affirm themselves.
We can complain all we like and nothing will change until we raise a brigade of prayer-and-fasting warriors. Have we done that yet? Have we all fallen on our collective knees to pray and fast, not just pray? We need to gather our troops for a Ignatian retreat, and then storm Heaven with prayer, but coupled with fasting. I would wager that the combination would be THE answer to everything. Is the time right? When is it NOT?
If any of those women in volved in sponsoring and organizing for abortion of their own knew what they were doing, would they continue? It is truly a poverty to know that my fellow hermanas would believe that death for their children is a good thing. I think that whoever those women are they are not truly from the Latino community, but from some other place. All I can think is that they are all communists who have been brought here to convince women that abortion is the answer. Margaret Sanger is alive in those women.
I hate to tell you Life Lady, but there are women of all races and ethnic groups, including Latins, who knowingly cheat with the husbands of other women, quite often husbands of women of their own ethnic group. Many such as these are the ones pushing so-called “abortion rights”. Many times these women, too, have had cheating husbands and end up like the women they hate. It is sad, but let’s tell it like it quite often is. We women need to think twice before we destroy someone else’s marriage, even if someone has tried to destroy ours.
I wonder how many of the supporting organizations for these talks get money from Catholic Charities. Pope Benedict issued a motu proprio on Saturday tightening the guidelines for Catholic charities in how they operate. The Pope calls them to be in conformity with the Church teachings and not take money from groups that purse ends contrary to the church’s teachings. He gives authority to the Bishops to make know any violations and for them to ensure that they do not use the word Catholic in their name.
The “California Budget Project” is a familiar name– the CCC (California CATHOLIC Conference) is guided by this group. I learned this from the Catholic Legislative Network and subsequently subscribed — pretty liberal opinions
The biggest heroes to anti-life Hispanic groups are the Catholic Hispanic members of the California Senate and Assembly, and of course, California’s governor and lieutenant governor (and actually, all of the Legislature’s Democrats). Hmmm, I seem to recall that a major goal of the radical La Raza and Azatland movements was to take back part of the West from the US. How is this going to happen when Latina women are killing off their progeny? And not just in the US, but in Mexico also? What do these California government pro-aborts say to this?
According to exit polls approx 65% of Catholic Latino’s voted for Obama and his Party of Death.
So much for the CA and some other Bishops putting all their eggs in this basket.
(50% of other Catholics voted for Obama.)
All Catholics regardless of heritage, need to be catechized and not just a few months prior to an election.
Has your Diocese Bishop and also your Parish Priest’s from the pulpit encouraged you to read the “Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition”; and teens to read the “YOUCAT”; and your young ones to read an age appropriate catechism?
As parents have you discussed this with your children?
In this Year of Faith, what is your Diocese and Parish doing so you and your neighbors can gain the special Plenary Indulgence attached to the Year of Faith?
Regardless or in spite of what is happening in your Diocese or your Parish, take the initiative to give a Catholic Bible and/or a CCC to family and close friends for Christmas.
Care about their eternity rather than just their temporal desires.
Dear Anna: Your suggestion that the priests start talking about buying a Catholic Bible or Catechism, or receive Plenary Indulgences ( how many people really know what that is about) needs to be revisited. The priests are trained /instructed in the seminary system, using the PPF ( Program For Priestly Formation). The seminary faculty uses this as their guide to prepare the seminarians ( future priests) to offer homilies based on the Sacred Scriptures for that given day out of the Sunday Lectionary. If the priest is prepared, the community of the parish goes home with a message from the scriptures that they can incorporate into their family lives. Isn’t that implementing every year of faith as The Current Year of Faith?
