During the debate with pro-life Florida Governor Ron DeSantis last night (Nov. 30), pro-abortion California Governor Gavin Newsom lied about late-term abortions.
While decades worth of facts and figures show alate-term abortions are mostly elective, mostly done on healthy moms and mostly done on healthy babies, Newsom falsely claimed that they are only done for emergency reasons.
“On the issue of the extreme exception that you highlight as it relates to the issue of later term abortion, it’s almost always because of a fetal anomaly [or] the life of the mother. And in those rare cases, I trust … the mother and her doctor to make that decision,” he said.
DeSantis said Newsom was “wrong” regarding late-term abortions and said data in Florida indicated 88% of later abortions were elective.
He’s right. Newsom’s claim is totally false for multiple reasons.
First, a study from ANSIRH, a pro-abortion research group at the University of California, contradicts the popular claim that most late-term abortions happen because of serious health problems with the mother or her unborn baby.
“The reasons people need third-trimester abortions are not so different from why people need abortions before the third trimester…” the researchers wrote. “[T]he circumstances that lead to someone needing a third-trimester abortion have overlaps with the pathways to abortion at other gestations….”

I seem to have read somewhere that they are now New Age believers, i.e. new pagans. What can I say? At least he does not traffic on fake Catholicism like Pelosi or Biden do.

While neither of these men are likely to be canonized, Governor DeSantis’s policy positions are more in line with Catholic teaching than those of our governor.
We’re talking about electing a president; not a Saint, pastor or bishop.
We’d better stop worrying about abortion and start worrying about Islamic terrorists that have been let into this country and will attack us on the homeland.
You’re wrong. We should be concerned about both. Killing innocents is wrong and we’re able to keep in mind that innocent lives have many who want to kill them, some are abortion “doctors” (and politicians promoting abortion) and some are terrorists. We’re Catholics, often it’s not either this or that, but both this and that.
I wouldn’t expect the truth from Newsom, since he is trying to defend the indefensible–so sugarcoating is about all he can do. And since a lie serves his cause, he gives it without any bother of conscience. Poor, poor man: don’t you know that a clean conscience is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and you can use to serve others?
Newsom grew up a very spoiled, selfish loser of the “me-me-me generation.” Those people have no limits to anything, no moral conscience, no self–control, no sense of responsibility, no maturity. They are like a two-year-old out-of-control, all alone in a candy store, with no supervision. They mindlessly, irresponsibly grab and gorge themselves on anything and everything in sight– all mindless, and highly-addictive pleasures of the flesh– gorging themselves far beyond normal, decent limits on anything and everything– drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, human trafficking, sugary junk food, money, power, prestige, everything. Big, fat, egotistical “know-it-alls,” with huge egos, they respect no one, not even God, in church. They become hopeless addicts of all that they irresponsibly gorge themselves on. A wasteland of mindless, corrupt, degenerate, irresponsible, filthy people, a “lost civilization.” Just like the latter days of the Roman Empire. Any of these smart-aleck losers will nastily inform others, that they are “free, free, free,” and totally “entitled” to all that they desire to mindlessly gorge themselves on, destroying their lives, and the lives of everyone around them —- especially, drugs, pornography, and hooking-up with girls— and getting rid of the beautiful, helpless baby, as fast as possible. Babies are one “forgotten minority” that have no “human rights,” to their way of thinking. None. All so-called “human rights,” pertain only to one group of people– themselves. Newsom was born in the 1960s. I am a generartion older, old enough to be his mother. His mom and dad, who were divorced, did not give Gavin Newsom a good Catholic training and education in the Catholic faith and morals. The Newsom family is related to the Pelosi family, by marriage. Gavin Newsom’s aunt, Barbara Newsom, was previously married to Paul Pelosi’s brother, Ron Pelosi. Their marriage ended in 1977. Paul Pelosi is Nancy Pelosi’s husband. Both families are wealthy, powerful, corrupt and sinful.

Gov. Gruesome Newsom just cancelled the annual ceremony of the lighting of the Christmas tree in Sacramento, due to planned pro-Palestinian protests. The pro-Palestinians state that Gruesome Newsom does not sympathize enough with them. So, what does that have to do, with the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony? Shame on Newsom.
Well, today, I found out the whole story on the cancellation of California’s 92nd annual Christnas Tree lighting ceremony, in Sacramento. Pro-Palestinian extremist youth organizations threatened to have a big protest and cause trouble, at the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony! So then, Newsom tried to move the ceremony to a different day–but the pro-Palestinian youth extremists issued threats to the governor on that, too. They stated that they will make a big protest at any celebrations until the “genocide” of Palestinians ends. So, the Governor just moved the ceremony online, to be a “virtual ceremony,” for this year, for safety reasons. So, I am o.k. with all of this– I had no idea of what was going on! So glad I found out! Newsom is well-known for his terrible, anti-Christian views! But this seems o.k., it is for safety reasons. The youth pro-Palestinian radicals are angry because Gov. Newsom supports Israel. Newsom visited Israel in October, and spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli officials after the deadly Oct. 7th Hamas attack, visited with Israelis harmed in the attack, and arranged for California to send humanitarian aid to Israel– but also, to Gaza.
