40 Days for Life begins next week on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Please join us for one or more of the opening opening prayer vigils starting tomorrow and the coming days.
Also, a Commissioning Mass for 40-Days for Life with Bishop Philipe Pulido will be held on Sunday, October 4, at 10:30 am at St. Mary Parish, 1170 S. Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025.

Saturday Sept. 19 at 10:00 AM, Prayers led by Deacon Bill Adsit of St. Michael’s parish in Poway. Meet on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood MIRA MESA, which is located at 10717 Camino Ruiz, San Diego 92126. Monday Sept. 21 at 6:00 PM, meet in front of Planned Parenthood EL CAJON, which is located at 1685 East Main St, El Cajon.
Tuesday Sept. 22 at 6:30 PM, Planned Parenthood CHULA VISTA. Meet at the corner of Broadway and Palomar (1295 Broadway) in Chula Vista. We will begin with a Rosary, followed by interdenominational prayer a candlelight vigil, food and fellowship. For more details, see the link to the website for the Chula Vista campaign below.
Tuesday Sept. 22 at 6:45PM, a candlelight vigil with the Rosary at Planned Parenthood DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO, which is located at 2017 First Avenue (First and Grape). This is the main surgical center for all of San Diego.
The Fall campaign for 40 Days for Life runs from September 23 through November 1. This is a continuous prayer vigil for 40 days in front of 8 abortion centers in San Diego County. It is a peaceful, legal event that is occurring at the same time in hundreds of cities throughout the world, including 53 locations in California this campaign. More than 26,000 babies have been saved, more than 279 abortion workers have quit, and 187 abortion centers have closed during 40 Days for Life since it started in 2007. “It could be the web browser is not reloading the page anew… try doing a clear cache and then load the page again… I run into that refresh issue a lot across the internet. It’s a quirk of the web browsers. They preload pages and miss updates as a result. That would explain why it shows after you return the next day. The browser loads it afresh.”
I think we’re all having the same problem. I also hesitate to do a clear cache due to its inadvertent wiping out passwords, etc. Any other suggestions?
