Sample ballots for the September 14th recall election will soon be arriving in your mailbox. Your actual Vote-By-Mail official ballot will arrive by mid-August.
Governor Newsom is so extremely pro-abortion that he has:
1) Forced all 10 UC and 22 CSU university student health centers to become abortion clinics.
2) Proudly promoted that teens be allowed to get abortions without their parents’ knowledge or consent.
3) Made sure our state tax dollars pay to kill thousands of babies each year.
4) Forced private insurance companies to pay for abortions.
5) Pressured Catholic hospitals to perform abortions.
6) Coerced even churches to pay for abortions through their insurance policies.
7) So strongly promoted abortion that Governor Newsom even invites women from across the country to come to California for state-taxpayer-funded abortions.
Here are things you can do to help replace extremely pro-abortion Governor Newsom with a pro-life governor:
Make sure you and everyone you know are registered to vote. You can check on your voter registration status and details at the Secretary of State website.
Make sure you, your family, your friends, and everyone you know votes “yes” on question 1 on the ballot to recall Governor Newsom.
Voting “yes” means that you support the recall and want to remove pro-abortion Governor Newsom from office.
If Governor Newsom is recalled, then whoever gets the most number of votes on question 2 will become our next governor. There is no run-off. The new pro-life governor will take office as soon as the election is certified.
Please note: do not vote for Faulconer. He is pro-abortion.
For question 2 on the ballot, regarding whom to vote for to replace pro-abortion Governor Newsom, below are three leading candidates who are pro-life. There are several additional pro-life candidates for governor such as Jenny Rae Le Roux and former State Senator Ted Gaines, but we are cautious not to split the vote among too many candidates.
Larry Elder
Larry Elder is a nationally syndicated radio host, a bestselling author, award-winning documentary filmmaker, and one of the best-known media figures in America today.
His daily radio program, “The Larry Elder Show,” is heard in all 50 states where he shares the timeless American principles of personal responsibility and public accountability.
Larry Elder was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles—and his family’s story represents every bit of the American Dream. Elder has a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law.
John Cox
John Cox is strongly pro-life, including his own personal story. He might have been aborted, if abortion had been legal.
John Cox is a successful business man who worked his way through college, earning a CPA and law degree.
John and his wife have four daughters and are active members of Nativity Catholic Church.
Kevin Kiley
Kevin Kiley currently serves in the California State Assembly, with a 100% pro-life voting record. Kevin graduated from Harvard, earned a law degree from Yale, and a master’s in secondary education from Loyola Marymount. He has served as an adjunct professor at McGeorge School of Law.
Kevin Kiley began his career as a high school teacher in inner-city Los Angeles, where he chaired the English Department and led his students to significant academic gains.
Kevin defended the U.S. Constitution in California courts, then became a prosecutor and Deputy Attorney General, representing the People of California in cases against violent felons.
In 2020, Kevin won a legal case against Governor Newsom because Governor Newsom violated the separation of powers. Kevin continues to challenge Governor Newsom at every opportunity.
The above comes from Californians for Life.
Good article. I read all of this in the original article from “Californians for Life,” sent recently to me. Before that, I got similar information from other Pro-Life news sources. I have since been praying for God’s guidance, to help me choose the candidate He would like me to vote for.
This is all you need to know to recall Newsom:
1) Yes on recall
2) Check the box next to Larry Elder
I just read that the U.S. Senate just passed a big Budget Amendment to the multi-million dollar spending bill, that bans taxpayer-funded abortions for any federal funds authorized under the bill. The Amendment ensures that the budget will comply with the long-standing Hyde Amendment. Great news for unborn children in their mothers’ wombs. Now, how about some good Pro-Life news for California?
The Senate also banned funds in this bill to be used for teaching Critical Race Theory in American schools. And I just read that Critical Race Theory has been banned by the Paso Robles School Board, for their school district, in California. Very good news.
Newsom is demonstrably pro abortion, yet by logic recently applied by liberals on this site, his support of mandatory masks and vaccines makes him pro life. So evil.
I pray Larry Elder wins….we to turn around this state and abortions are out of control.
Paula, I think Larry Elder is great, too.
Larry Elder supports gay marriage.
Thanks, Ronnie. I just found information on that, and Elder says he supports Gay “Marriage” but believes that churches must have the right to decide for themselves what they accept and believe. John Cox, a perennial candidate who never seems to win anything– switched from being a moderate Democrat to a Republican, around the year 2000, and became a practicing Catholic. His views look faithful to Catholic teaching– but would hope he will not “flip-flop” on that. Then, I have been investigating Kevin Kiley, too, another pro-lifer. Lots to investigate, for all the pro-life candidates.
Thanks Christifidelis I also would have encouraged my relatives and friends to vote for Elder. I loved listening to him on Cable and I really thought he was with us on the issues. How disappointed I was. Cox seems to be more aligned with Catholic values but what chance does he have. Keep praying. God can work miracles.
John Cox used to be against Gay “Marriage,” but said he “changed with the times,” especially after the SCOTUS Gay “Marriage” decision. His views sound similar to Elder’s on Gay “Marriage.”
Good to know. Thanks.
Well, I have been praying about the candidates– none of them really match who I feel is “right” to vote for. So I will leave my decision in the hands of God. Maybe He will come up with something, and present it to me, in prayer… wonder if lots of sincere Christians– especially, devout Catholics–feel as I do??
Larry won’t be able to do anything about abortions.
The church needs to stay out of politics or be taxed like any other corporate entity. Religions controlling voters and government always ends in disaster for the people of a nation.
IMichael– I had the impression that groups like Californians for Life— a pro-life group, not a religious group– are only encouraging votes to help save unborn babies. I didn’t get the impression they are telling anyone what to do. I appreciate the emails I get from Californians for Life, and many other pro-life groups, too.
Gov Newsom is a Practicing Catholic. Elder is not. He is Pro Trump all the way and is not going to work with the People of California. He is against all we stand for.
Governor Newson is a practicing Catholic who believes in child killing?
We all don’t stand for the same things. Typical liberal believing that we do.
He a practicing Catholic but supports abortion on demand like Polosi, Biden. But our Bishops in San Diego support democrats
You people have it all wrong. You need to get out of California. Go somewhere sane that isn’t being run into the ground. You’ll be sorry if you don’t.
Voters who reconcile Elder, Cox, and Kiley, and Ose with Catholic teaching will have the momentum they need to…square the circle! James G. Hanink, the candidate for the American Solidarity Party, is consistently pro life and understands that social justice begins with the family.
Thanks, Jim. California– and our country– desperately need good political leaders with good, solid Christian values, who will seek to re-establish and strengthen Traditional Marriage and Family– and champion all children, and seek to outlaw the crime of abortion.
And oppose mask mandates and vax mandates.
Why? Don’t you want to make at least a small effort to rid the nation of the virus? We know it works because the statistics prove it works. It is un-American in every way to refuse to fight this killer of hundreds of thousands of your fellow citizens.
Common sense to vaccinate if you can. Medicines, equipment, medical staff, hospital beds are running low. Do it for the people who are risking their lives to save others.
Christifidelis—- You’ve entered 9 posts (out of 19: almost 50%). Are you sure there’s not another stray thought you need to share? Maybe too much time on your hands?
This is why we need the anonymous defaut back. People are getting cruel again.
WORDS– (with great, big, capital letters! Wowee!) Why this sudden, crazy hostility to someone you do not even know? And counting up other people’s posts– what does this poor behavior mean? A sign of anxiety or obsessive-compulsive disorder?
I am voting for Larry Elder. The sage from South-central LA.
i am voting for Larry Elder simply to prove i’m not racist.
He just pointed out that you post a lot, with an overwhelming number of words. That’s not hostile, just true.
You post a lot, that was the point. Why disagree when you know it’s true.
