IN-PERSON AND VIA LIVESTREAMSalvete in Domino!St. Michael’s Abbey is pleased to present organist Lukas Hasler in recital on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 6:30 pm, in a program that will include works by J.S. Bach, Mozart, Lemmens, and others.Hasler is establishing himself as a major presence on the international concert stage, and has concertized extensively in Europe, Great Britain, the United States, and Russia. Beginning as a piano student, Hasler soon developed an interest in the organ, and was organist and choirmaster in two parishes by the age of 14. He has participated in masterclasses with luminaries in the organ world, including Jean Guillou, Ton Koopman, Ludger Lohmann, and Skip Sempé. Admission to the recital is free, but donations are accepted to help support the abbey. Those unable to attend in-person can join via livestream. |
