This is the first lecture in the The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption Golden Jubilee “50 Years of Faith and Gratitude” Lecture Series. Limited Seating. Guest Lecturer: Father Dorian Llywelyn S.J.

Fr. Dorian Llywelyn is the President of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies (IACS) at the University of Southern California and an active member of the Mariological Society of America. He also served as Executive Director of the Ignatian Center since August 2016 at Santa Clara University. Fr. Llywelyn has written several books and scholarly articles on the intersection of faith and culture. His research interests focus on the place of land and national identity in the spirituality of peoples, and the intersection of devotion to the Virgin Mary with politics and culture.
