The Center for Spiritual Development, supported by Bishop Timothy Freyer [auxiliary bishop of Diocese of Orange], is responding to the needs of women who feel a desire and a call to explore religious life. The center is offering a series of monthly education and reflection days on different aspects of religious life via Zoom. Those interested are invited to join with a group of women who are exploring and discerning where God is calling them.
The eight-part series began in September and continues monthly through May, with December off. Topics covered include ministry and community life, prayer and the Eucharist, the vows of poverty, celibate chastity and obedience. Each session will begin at 10 a.m. with prayer and will conclude by noon. A booklet on each topic covered will be included for further study and reflection.

The above comes from an Oct. 1 story in OC Catholic.
For those of us not residents of the OC, a bit of identification of Bp Freyer would help.
Prayers for these ladies. I wonder how many will take final vows.
Updated – Bishop Timothy Freyer, auxiliary bishop of Diocese of Orange.
It’s good to see women religious identifiable as women religious. The religious communities that are growing have Sisters living and praying together and they wear either a full or modified habit. And, although this should not need to be noted, they follow the teachings of Christ and His Church.
