The following comes from a Live Action News article by John Bowen:
In early 2002, I was asked to join a group of about a dozen friends whose goal was to oust Planned Parenthood from making sex-ed presentations to our high school students here in Coronado, California. At the time, all I knew of PP was that they provided abortion – which seemed like an unpleasant way to make a living to me. But it’s the law of the land after all, and I had never thought about it any more than that.
It took very little digging on my part to quickly learn the truth about this pathetic outfit, however. Doing the same thing I do when checking out a company for investment purposes or a charitable organization for donation purposes, I got on the PP website and checked it out from A to Z. It was there I learned about PP’s own website for youth, TeenWire.com [editor’s note; this website is no longer in service. Here is Planned Parenthood’s new web page for teens].
Once there, it became readily apparent to me that Planned Parenthood had created a simple business model that exists to this day: Use sympathetic politicians and the liberal media to be blessed as a savior of women’s health in general and as “experts” in the field of sexual health in particular. Then infiltrate our public schools to make the required sex-ed presentations that teachers don’t want to make. The PP reps leave their brochures and cards behind so the kids can call PP when they are in trouble. And – oh yes – they leave their website info as well.
Worse yet, they do so under the guise of “We’re here to help you,” when in fact their unstated goal is exactly the opposite. How can I say that? When I went on that teenwire site in 2002, what I saw among other things was this jaw-dropper addressed to youth:
Despite What Your Parents and Teachers Say… do you think you’ll really need to use math after high school to do anything besides balance your checkbook? How about chemistry? Or French? Well, there’s one subject that’s guaranteed to come up in the future… we all need to know about one thing – SEX!
Over the course of about four months I presented that page to the school board along with a number of TeenWire Q & A pages that normalize all kinds of sexual behavior. Then I simply asked the board members to draw their own conclusions about the organization. The end result was PP being shown the door on a 5-0 vote.
Planned Parenthood, like the devil, walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom it may devour. Letting them into schools is like letting the fox into the hen house – there will be blood and death and ruin.
God bless John Bowen and that very wise school board. With men and women such as they, perhaps there is still some hope for public education in California.
Disrespect for Human Life corrupts not only the young but the entire society.
It all starts with the torture and murder of innocent and helpless human beings – Abortion – for the convenience of others.
This is a non-religious scientific web site, that should be shown in all Biology and Health Care Classes in all schools.

An organization called Barrios Unidos, housed in a humble-looking storefront across the street from Roosevelt High School in Fresno, serves as a very useful cover allowing Planned Parenthood to gain under the radar access to high school students. It has been in the same location for a number of years. (As a high school teacher, retired in 2004, I have been aware of Barrios Unidos and its true mission since 2002. At that time I wrote to the FUSD Board of Education about my concerns, which were also the concerns of parents who had shared them with me, but received no response.)
The usefulness of such a cover organization only becomes greater as public awareness of PP’s activities increases thanks to CMP’s videos. The Barrios…
My children go to a Catholic High School and last year they mentioned Planned Murderhood in the sex respect class. What resorces do we have as parents. Here in California it appears to be manditory that they have a class in sex education. Is it possible to preview the curriculm? Any resorces would be much appreciated. P.S. I reviewed the Planned Murderhood youth site. First there’s the thought, thant there’s the sin and then there’s death. It’s all about the Planned Murderhood marketing.
Wheels, I would follow the advice learned in this article. “Over the course of about four months I presented that page to the school board along with a number of TeenWire Q & A pages that normalize all kinds of sexual behavior. Then I simply asked the board members to draw their own conclusions about the organization.”
Print out what is written on the PP youth site and read it aloud to your high school principle, etc. Chances are they will want you to stop reading due to the offensiveness of it. Then point them to its source.
Sorry – continuation of the previous send.
The Barrios Unidos neighborhood is heavily Hispanic and Southeast Asian, and true to PP form, the location of Barrios Unidos adheres to the PP pattern of locating within heavily minority, low income areas of town in order to engineer a result of “less children from the unfit,” Margaret Sanger’s eugenicist assessment of racial minorities and the relatively poor.
Barrios Unidos is a front organization for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Fresno. Its Executive Director formerly worked as a “Health Educator” at the Fresno PPMM. Yet another employee at Barrios Unidos, similarly titled “Health Educator”, held the identically titled post at Fresno’s PP for eight years.

And my send continues:
Barrios Unidos was recently quoted in a lengthy Fresno Bee article (April 19, 2015, “Sex Education Quietly Disappears From Fresno Unified Schools” by Hannah Furfaro) advocating for “Comprehensive sex education.” Significantly, Planned Parenthood was never mentioned in this article.
“Comprehensive sex education” is Planned Parenthood phraseology, and Mar Monte Planned Parenthood in Fresno (noted as the “most active” location for fetal body part sales in the recent CMP videos) just happens to be one of 26 affiliates across the country to share currently in a total of $75 million in federal grants to “work as partners with states” (PP’s words) to establish “comprehensive sex education.”
