We are the small non-profit that runs the #1 Catholic website in California.
We serve 10 thousand users a day.
We take no government funds and have no large donors.
Now is the time we ask. If everyone reading this gave $3, we would raise our annual budget in one hour.
Cal Catholic has been able with our small staff and the help of volunteers to post nearly 1000 stories a year, including the 6-part American Holocaust story and the 6-part series on the California bishops.
(We have made the latter series on the bishops available in PDF form, for those who want to print out and share a paper copy with their favorite priest, bishop, or layman.)
We field 30 to 50 thousand comments a year, making our site the #1 engaged Catholic site in the U.S.
Please consider donating to us to keep us going another year. All donations are tax-deductible.
God bless you.

Folks, this is money spent on so-called “Black Friday”. Here’s to your fundraising success Cal Catholic!
To my fellow posters , I have said it before to keep this site up we have to participate , this site brings us news and perspectives that few other sites do . I donate through my PayPal account and it as easy as it gets. That helping this site also helps my fellow Catholics is not hyperbole , this site and my fellow posters instruct the ignorant , counsel the doubtful , and admonish the sinner. All of these are spiritual works of mercy , it is on my menu bar and I check on it first thing when I log on , I am sure I am not alone in this . Times are still tough I know , but this site and it’s forum for the faithful is worth supporting.
God Bless
JanJan – Amen!, also let us all remember Small Business Saturday, where we support small business, this site is one of those business, though a non profit it gives great value the whole year.
I’m contemplating a large donation when this site removes itself from the pathetic right wing (GOP) political agenda, balance is a positive concern!
Talk is cheap…I can only imagine what a LARGE DONATION means…your problem!!! you can’t bear to hear the TRUTH….too many cafeteria catholics..like yourself..want only the FEEL GOOD agenda… Truth hurts sometimes…it is the salvation of the church…
Maybe you ought to donate rather to Obamacare, – or on the Catholic side, – to the Catholic Reporter, you’ll fit there.
Don’t put pressure on this network. It’s just the way we love it: serving the Truth.
We may miss you, but we won’t miss your money! God takes care of His people when they try hard.
TEM I don’t know whether to laugh or feel sorry for you……but just because you made that comment, I decided to donate…I’ll try to do so next month but I am not wealthy as you, who says a large donation but just like the loaves, I trust that Jesus will multiply any dime I give coming from the heart and only if it pleases our Lord……..
That’s fine, CalCatholic, re. Thomas Edward Miles, I will up my contribution: I don’t think he would have given you any contributions if you took orders from him, anyway.
Steve,
Thank you, you are a good man!
Thank you California Catholic Daily for this unique forum. Will do my part.
