We’re here for you every day, posting the latest stories on the Church in California, reading and posting your comments.
Our plans for the coming year are:
- 1. more original stories by California writers
- 2. videos of live events in the state
- 3. YouTube links for the best liturgies and homilies from the previous Sunday
- 4. links to the best in Catholic radio from the current week
We intend to do this with our part-time staff spread throughout the state — on a shoestring.
That’s why your widow’s mite — even $5 or $10 a month — will keep us alive.
To give you some idea of our reach, here are some of the recent numbers of page views we have been getting:
8/14/17 — 10,914
8/19/17 — 13,207
8/20/17 — 17,587
10/5/17 — 27,840
10/4/17 — 25,299
So please consider a small donation to Cal Catholic — it will go a long way.
Thank you.
P.S. – If you have written a will or are soon to write one, please consider making Cal Catholic a beneficiary. This kind of support will give us a chance to keep publishing, year after year, no matter what.

I have said it many times, so once again supporting this site I think is a corporal work of Mercy , instructing the ignorant, counseling the doubtful. This is also a RELIABLE source of news /info in a world of dubious news outlets. The spirited and vigorous exchange of opinions teaches and challenges our minds and keeps us sharp, yet another reason to support this site.
Made a donation via the mail some weeks ago. I hope it got there. For regular readers of CCD, it is a one-of-a-kind resource. If it fails, it would be impossible to find out about the goings-on in our Golden State.
God bless you Fr.Michael,, I have mine set up through Papal , quick ,easy and painless.
