On January 7 Dr. George Fareed of Brawley and Dr. Brian Tyson of El Centro published Overcoming the Covid Darkness, their story of treating 7,000 Covid patients in the Imperial Valley since April 2020.
What makes their story unique is an early treatment protocol they’ve advocated since the SARS-COV-2 pandemic began and their claim to have a 100 percent survival rate with it. Even when counting their patients who received late treatment (after five-seven days of infection,) of which three died, their protocol still has a death rate 54 times less than the average in Imperial County, according to statistics published in The Desert Review, a weekly newspaper in the Imperial Valley.
Last year The Desert Review published the doctors’ early treatment plan, which is similar to the I-MASK+ protocol of the “Front Line Covid Critical Care” network of doctors. Aspirin, monoclonal antibodies, and steroids are on their list, as are the controversial drugs Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. They recommend Zinc, Vitamin C and Quercetin as a prophylaxis.
In November 2020 Dr. Fareed testified in a U.S. Senate hearing and said, “The goal is to treat early. Covid patients are difficult to treat when they get very sick… The timing of the drug is when the virus is in a very active maximal replication phase in the upper respiratory tract and our goal is to prevent it from entering the lower respiratory tract and prevent hospitalization.”
In December 2021 Drs. Fareed and Tyson spoke to the Imperial County Board of Supervisors about their protocol. One supervisor said they received pressure to cancel the doctors’ appearance, and another asked why their protocol hasn’t received wide acceptance.
Dr Tyson said, “Dr. Fauci is notorious for discounting treatments that work in favor of things that make money…This conversation is starting to be more widely accepted. Our Global Covid Alliance is having more seminars all over the nation. We’re going to have one here in San Diego in March.”
That alliance of 16,000 physicians and scientists is led by Dr. Robert Malone, who appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast #1757 on December 30. Malone told Rogan in the late 1980s he worked at San Diego’s Salk Institute as a UCSD graduate student and there made discoveries that form “the basis of the RNA technology platform that gives rise to these [mRNA Covid] vaccines.”
Malone credited Drs. Fareed and Tyson with saving the lives of thousands of Mexican immigrants and echoed Tyson’s opinion that financial profit is one motive behind the information war against their treatments. “There’s been a half-million excess [Covid] deaths through intentional blockade of early treatment by the U.S. government,” he said.
Dr. Malone and Dr. Tyson have been banned from Twitter. Rogan uploaded a video clip from his podcast to YouTube, in which Dr. Malone diagnosed much of American society and the world with “mass formation psychosis,” one symptom of which is the censorship and destruction of any dissent or counternarrative. YouTube responded by removing the video.
The above comes from a Dec. 19 story in the San Diego Reader.
I have never commented on the Wuhan virus, sensing that political (and financial) correctness determined the flow of information, and that time would vindicate those with the best approach to combating the pandemic. If Dr. Malone and Dr. Tyson are on the right track, and based on this article it seems as they are, then they should be hailed as heroes and acknowledged as such by the medical establishment and our government.
If they are on the right track they should perform a placebo controlled double blind study and publish their results in a well regarded peer reviewed journal.
“If they are on the right track they should perform a placebo controlled double blind study and publish their results in a well regarded peer reviewed journal.” YFC, if, and I say if the treatment of those in the Imperial Valley is deemed effective, then please explain why these results should be cast aside in favor of double-blind tests as you propose? And how does one accomplish such tests with people that are ill– perhaps gravely so? Please explain. In addition, censorship of such work is widespread. Please name a well-respected peer reviewed journal that has not fallen victim to such bias.
Because the only way to prove they are effective is to do the trial. Besides, these results wouldn’t be cast aside. Double blind placebo controlled trials are done every day with gravely ill people, who gladly give their consent in order to further science and medicine. Sometimes you can’t practically make the tests blinded, so those tests tend to enroll larger sets of people. If there is a surgical intervention for cancer, for example, you don’t want the surgeon to not know whether he is performing the test surgery and you probably don’t want the test patient to undergo an unnecessary surgery. In those cases, we have open label controlled trials.
Gee, those standards didn’t apply to the jabs when they were rushed through and given emergency use authorization.
Yes those standards did apply, and they have the benefit of a billion people getting them subsequently.
I’m sorry, but it is simply not true that the Covid vaccines were subjected to the normal, rigorous, time-consuming, peer-reviewed process that drugs usually have to go through to receive approval. The vaccines were rushed through without adequate controls or testing. Please tell the truth, as you like to chastise others.
I am telling the truth. The controlled trial data was submitted to the FDA and on that basis were approved first for emergency use then fully approved. You can look up much of the data yourself.
Also dear Rush, here is the exact slide show Pfizer presented to the FDA giving the data for Phase 1 and II/III double blind randomized control trials of their vaccine. It is quite informative. https://www.fda.gov/media/144325/download
YFC: There are so many peer-reviewed double-blind studies on therapeutics. See some of these here:
https://flccc.substack.com/p/the-bigget-lie-perhaps-ever
The Covid “vaccines” have made many pharmaceutical billionaires. The therapeutics of Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Quercetin, Zinc, Dexamethazone, etc. have all shown success in many clinical trials but their problem is that these drugs have all been around for a long time and they are cheap.
Lives have been lost because Fauci, the CDC, FDA and the government push the vaccine while vilifying doctors who don’t succumb to their narrative.
Dexamethasone and a few other steroids have been studied in this way and are used now almost universally in hospital settings. And they have saved hundreds of thousands of lives in the US. Nobody is going to argue with using moderate amounts of C, D, and zinc whether or not there have been specific trials. Matter of fact, I take them every day in my multivitamin. However, ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine still have very mixed results and the trials have not been well conducted.
Putting all that together I think I’ve seen that doctors believe the death rate is reduced about 30%.
Compare that to data out just this week, showing that the vaccinated and boosted are 45 TIMES less likely to be hospitalized due to omicron than the unvaxxed.
There have been 63 and 300 successful trials already on Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Watch the Jan 23rd rally in DC. Learn a lot.
Barbara not good trials. And some were withdrawn. If they worked so well in the trials, why would physicians use dexamethasone which is off patent and just as cheap as the rest and has undergone the test of time, instead of these others which if they are effective at all, are less effective than dex? And again, the vaccines are better than all of them since they reduce hospitalization by 80-90%.
I have never seen treatment discussed much except when it was taking a week to get the monoclonal antibodies and then they got limited to only non-vaxxed patients.
I have heard of all of it except they do not use the Vitamin D supplements that we were told to take..
I am glad that they are sharing the information publicly in one place.
Most things study the effectiveness of one thing.
We were told not to do the Ivermectin, though, but a lot of people do.
Once again, the best advice is to consult your doctor.
Fact is New Zealand, which has sealed off the country and given almost everyone the jab, is experiencing a statistically significant rise in deaths that correlates with the population having received the jab.
Fact is there is a statistically significant correlation between those who died and drank water today in New Zealand.
Could you give a source for that, please.
I’m not finding that information.
When most of the days you have 0 deaths and then you have a day with 8 deaths, that is a significant rise.
Don’t you think that is misleading to say what you said?
90% of the population might be vaccinated. You have to know the vax status of the people who died. Because not everybody is vaccinated.
Anytime you combine information, you lose information.
Correlation is not causality.
They have done a really good job helping their country stay well.
They are have written a book. The name of book is Overcoming the Covid of Darkness.
I lost two fellow parishioners to Covid last fall.
Their families apparently weren’t aware that Covid was treatable.
Their regular physicians did not (or weren’t allowed to) perform any early treatment.
Instead, they sent these friends home: “Take Tylenol, and go to the hospital if you get worse.”
After a week, they ended up at different hospitals in the same region.
One would treat the disease, but only with Remdesivir — he died of organ failure.
The other hospital had a “cannot treat” policy … straight to the ventilator. He died a couple of days later.
Our pastor was furious, and justifiably so.
But we can’t talk about iMask protocols, ivermectin, HCQ, zinc, vitamins C & D, …etc… — that’s “misinformation”.
But anyone can promote whatever is under BigPharma’s patent portfolios … no problem there.
Catholics, knowing our fallen state and our propensity to sin, should have a healthy suspicion of “experts” allied with those in power.
I enjoyed watching Dr. Robert Malone, the co-inventor of mRNA technology, get “red-pilled” over time.
His interview with Joe Rogan was priceless, well worth the 2 hours. Look for it on rumble.com.
Excellent, Mr. Bill.
Covid was the biggest scam and the biggest fleecing of the commoner in human history.
Nobody says it better than Aaron Rodgers:

It is on twitter and it is on youtube.
Regardless of your opinion of the vaccines, it seems:
1. Nothing contrary to the dominant narrative is permitted.
2. Since FaceBook and youtube execs seem not particularly Christian, are you okay with them banning Catholics like Fr. Mike Schmitz (while promoting dissenters like Rev. James Martin SJ)?
3. Is it good that they run get out the vote campaigns for pro-abortion Democrats, but not for those who’ve visited conservative sites?
4. If the ideas of some doctors and scientists are so ridiculous, why don’t others simply present facts to show how ridiculous their statements are? (Science made progress when some proposed ideas that most scientists thought inaccurate. There was debate and experimentation.)
1) I don’t know about that Bob, seems the non-dominant narrative is all over the place. What isn’t allowed on news sites are false and misleading statements.
2) Father Mike Schmitz is still on Facebook as himself and on YouTube as Ascension Presents.
3) I don’t know anything about that. Can you cite some evidence?
4) Others constantly present facts to demonstrate that much of what is out there are falsehoods or are lacking in support.
YFC 1) “False” as determined by the all-knowing scientists at yahoo, Twitter, FaceBook, youtube and Big Tech. Why are those who believe the scientific falsehood of an unlimited number of genders allowed to post their misleading statements?
2) For now. Other Catholics have already been banned. Who should decide whether we can listen to Fr. Mike or Fr. James Martin? The theological magisterium of Big Tech?
3) Yes, it’s easy enough to find and talk with your friends. Last fall, those who visited liberal sites received repeated “get out to vote” messages popping up on their screens, while those who visited conservative sites did not. Here’s one example from the BBC. Just before the election “Twitter prevented people posting links to a critical New York Post investigation into Joe Biden.” And, much about his son, Hunter, came out publicly after the election. As the BBC noted, “The likes of Facebook and Twitter can be secretive – they don’t share all of their data or reveal exactly how their algorithms work.”
4) Why won’t major networks allow a debate about the viruses and vaccines? In northern California, a church invited “both sides” to an event and only doctors who treated COVID patients and did not favor vaccine mandates showed up. Those favoring mandatory vaccines and lockdowns would not debate them. Open debate is not a bad thing.
Make you own social media platform if you don’t like the way the others do it.
When you run the company, you can make the policies.
So, you’re okay with racists making their own hotels and restaurants and denying service to non-Whites? If non-Whites don’t like it, they can make and run their own. Social media has become a public accomodation; open to the public, like restaurants, hotels and the public square, where free speech is allowed. That’s why the FCC regulates airwaves.
Mr Bellarmine you don’t understand these laws at all. Refusing to sell a product is not the same as refusing to sell a product to one person and not to another. Also, social media is not a public accommodation. Also the airwaves are not public accommodations. The reason the FCC is allowed to regulate them is that the airwaves, unlike particular newspapers and websites, are owned by all of the people, not the people who run the stations.
So if you had a social media platform you would allow Planned Parenthood to advertise?
You would allow the Church of Satan on your platform?
You would allow the Man-Boy organization?
Ok.
As to #4, we don’t publicly debate medicine. I’ve never seen a public debate about how to treat lung cancer. Or whether smoking is good for you. It assumes the person who judges or listens to the debates knows enough about science to be able to make on-the-spot determinations. Something like that does happen at scientific meetings and in the peer review process.
I don’t see why people feel the need to second guess hundreds of thousands of doctors, working in thousands of hospitals and clinics all over the world. They didn’t spend a fortune in medical school and lifetime of on the job training just to listen to a bunch of people who’v never taken a graduate biology degree. I’m glad my doctor doesn’t listen to twitter or Facebook to find cures for me. Their track record is pretty good. Every day, in almost every hospital here in the US and many many other countries, they know that almost all the people in the hospital who are there for COVID never got the vaccines. That is true whether the doctor is a Republican or Democrat, Catholic or non-catholic, American or communist. You and I may not like that Pfizer and Moderna earned billions selling the vaccine, but that is what happens when smart people make a great product that people want to buy. That’s why Pfizer’s earnings are nothing compared to Apple, Google, or Facebook, or 28 OTHER companies.
Instead, the twitterati tell us that vaccines contain microchips. Or baby parts. Or toxic chemicals. Or that we don’t know what’s in those vials. Or that the swabs contain worms that will eat your brain. Or that the vaccines make you go sterile. Or that they dampen natural immunity. Or that they are not as good as off-the-shelf medicines. Or that they give you COVID. or that vaccines for other things are better than this vaccine. Or that you will get blood clots. Or that COVID is a political hoax designed to keep Trump out of office. Or that 5.5 million people who died had their death certificates falsified. Or this or that. It’s just endless the amount of crap that gets put out there, and if social media organizations feel a responsibility to put out only the things they think are true and correct, and that are confirmed by health authorities in every country on earth…that is their right. Ignore some guy who belongs to cults including QAnon? That’s their right too.
You took that bait.
Well Said Mr. Bellarmine.
Everyone who is going to get vaccinated has already done it. You will not convince those who want to validate their decision not to vaccinate with false facts.
They are not in your life except for this website.
Don’t let them jerk you around.
Dear “not”, I mostly agree with you, believe it or not. I do believe that if someone is motivated to lie about disease and cures are unlikely to take the “cure”. But I have to believe that there are people who read this blog but who never comment and read to hear that there are false facts out there. That’s why I post, not because I hope that most of the commentators will get vaccinated, it is to try to let readers know that they are often fed false facts in these comment sections. I appreciate your comment.
YFC, I think you have gone above and beyond duty and some commenters are legitimately misled.
This commenter is conflating so many issue. You know he is just playing a mind game.
Most of what I wrote to you was edited.
There is a catholic social media platform called catholic connect I do not use any social media so I cannot recommend or not.
A Catholic has been permanently banned from youtube. Who’s next?
YouTube permanently bans Dan Bongino From The Hill:
YouTube on Wednesday permanently banned conservative commentator Dan Bongino from the platform, saying he attempted to evade a previous suspension.
The Fox host uploaded a video to his main channel while his secondary channel, which primarily hosted short clips from his digital radio show, was actively suspended for violating YouTube’s COVID-19 misinformation policy.
“When a channel receives a strike, it is against our Terms of Service to post content or use another channel to circumvent the suspension,” a YouTube spokesperson told The Hill.
Both of Bongino’s channels have been removed and he will not be able to create a new one in the future, the platform said.
