The following comes from a Mar. 29 story on Channel 10 News, San Diego.
A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state’s Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an “x” in the box next to Democratic Party.
The couple – who did not want their identity revealed – received the letter and voter registration card from their health insurance provider Covered California, the state-run agency that implements President Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
They have lived in La Mesa for years and they have always been registered to vote Republican. Now, they are perplexed as to how the voter registration card pre-marked Democrat ended up in their mailbox.
“I’m an old guy and I never would have noticed it, except I have an accountant that notices every dot and dash on a piece of paper as a wife,” said the man who received the mailer.
Covered California began mailing out voter signup cards to nearly 4 million enrollees last week after being threatened with a lawsuit by voting rights groups. But that does not explain the pre-filled out voter registration card.
“It’s a waste of money because there’s an awful lot of people who are going to get this that are already registered and they don’t need to. I can see that, but I can’t see putting x on the form before it’s given to me in a little bitty box that nobody’s really going to notice,” said the recipient of the mailer.

This is obviously not permissible, and I don’t believe it is not true. I will dig into this and get back to you all.
Perhaps it would be wise for all of us to continue breathing while we are waiting for a response from YFC.
ELECTION FRAUD is a huge issue all over this Country. The USA is just as bad as some 3rd world Countries.
FELONY laws must be strengthened and ENFORCED, and advertised in all public newspapers and the internet 60 days prior to any election.
Guilty parties should be fined, lose their government jobs – never to be rehired again, and jailed for an appropriate period of time.
We must all demand through via local and state government that – – all voting laws be enforced.
It is illegal for non-citizens to vote, or register to vote.
State ID’s must be shown in order to vote, or obtain an absentee ballot.
When people die they must be removed from voter roles within days.
Convicted Felons must not be permitted to vote.
Those voting in more than one State or one location (via absentee ballots) must be severely fined and appropriately jailed.
Citizens voting more than once must be severely fined, and appropriately jailed.
Really? How many instances of voter fraud occurred in your state in the last ten years?
Too many to count. Google “voter fraud” on web, and you will find many instances of voting fraud.
Chicago is the worst.
Here is one poll worker in Cincinnati who voted 6 times.

Sister Marguerite Kloos, 54, allegedly voted both under her own name and under the name of Sister Rose Marie Hewitt, who had passed away a more than a month before last November’s poll. Kloos, of Delhi Township, faces up to 18 months in prison after being charged with illegal voting. She reportedly quit her job as dean of the Division of Arts and Humanities at Cincinnati’s College of Mount St. Joseph’s and intends to plead guilty to the charge, reports the Cincinnati Enquirer. Two others have also been charged with voter fraud, after an investigation carried out by the Hamilton County Board of Elections’. A Filipino woman living in Grayslake was arrested and charged with 17 felony counts related to voter fraud Thursday after being accused of falsely pretending to be a U.S. citizen and voting nine times in elections dating back to 2003, federal officials announced. Maria Azada, 53, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, which worked with an investigator for the Lake County State’s Attorney’s office. Azada faces charges of perjury, mutilation of election materials, and tampering with voting machines in connection with illegal voting by a non-U.S. citizen, according to an ICE news release.
Filling out a voter registration card is not voter fraud. Good for them to notice it. It is still not a vote. It would not have stopped them from voting republican.
This is false.
You can not vote in the primary (selection of Party candidates) in most States if you are not registered in that Party.
Also, candidates send most of their campaign materials to those registered in their own Party.
Voter registrations are under OATH. Therefore it is fraud to have a Party selected for you (if you don’t notice the fine print).
It can also effect campaign contributions and matching funding.
If you think there was nothing nefarious about sneaking/forcing a specific Party registration you are very mistaken.
Ted..2000 to 2012…… Voter ID laws uphold the integrity of the American electoral system – and preserve the sanctity of the voting process. And they’re overwhelmingly Republican. The other side protests that these voter ID laws disenfranchise certain groups of voters – such as minorities, students and the elderly – who tend to vote Democratic. They say the “voting fraud” claim holds no water, and that the real reason behind the fight for voter ID laws in some states is to suppress votes. The News 21 students sought to chip away at the rhetoric and unearth the underlying facts of the debate. Their pièce de résistance? A comprehensive database of all voter fraud cases in the United States since the year 2000 – the first nonpartisan archive of its kind. Their findings prompted headlines like these: “Comprehensive Database of U.S. Voter Fraud Uncovers No Evidence that Photo ID is Needed,” and “Exhaustive Database of Voter Fraud Cases Turns Up Scant Evidence That It Happens.” The students uncovered 2068 actual fraud cases since the year 2000. Of those cases, 10 arose from in-person voter impersonation – the only voter fraud that a photo ID protects against. Yet since 2000, 37 states have either implemented, or considered, a stringent voter ID law.
There is no excuse not to have an appropriate State ID of some type for voting, or to receive Federal and/or State aid.
History in the USA proves that dead people vote, non-citizens vote, people vote more than once, people vote in States where they are not residents via absentee ballots.
There is also a more recent history of understaffing polling places in democratic districts so that voters in democratic districts are discouraged from voting.
And then there is the very recent history of gerrymandering, which both sides are guilty of. Politicians determining political borders has got to go! This does far more to corrupt our voting than any voter fraud has ever done.
Beyond the numbers, the students exposed an unexpected group behind many of the latest voter ID laws: secretaries of state. These officials are in charge of elections in their state, and they’re supposed to be nonpartisan. But Henke discovered that many “are falling in line with their party, [in supporting] what we do or don’t need as far as voting ID.” Two-thirds of secretaries of states are Republicans. Overwhelmingly, the voter fraud cases they found came from absentee ballots (491), voter registration (400), and human error: Sometimes elderly voters forgot that they used an absentee ballot to vote, and then voted again at on election day. Others voted in the wrong precinct. So how do you combat the fraud that stems from misinformation? Anthea Watson Strong, an independent consultant who works for the Google Politics and Elections team, and Roger MacDonald, the leader of the Internet Archive TV News Research Service Project, are both working on projects to make finding political information faster and easier.
Why am I not surprised?!
This seems to be the result of the ACLU threatening “Covered California” with a lawsuit. Per the LA Times and others, California will send applications to about 3.8 million residents who applied under the Affordable Care Act.

Well, Tracy, it appears that ACLU was threatening a lawsuit to compel Covered California to comply with the law. You seem to imply that it is bad for an organization to file a lawsuit to compel a state agency to comply witht the law. I suppose you would prefer that Covered California violate the law?
Don’t be fooled.
ACLU is in cahoots with the Dems.
Whatever the Dems want the ACLU pushes.
Almost all ACLU members are active Democrats.
They are only separate organizations on paper.
In addition George Soros, and Peter Lewis and other billionaires who support the Democrats – donate millions to ACLU.
The Democrats will never fight anything the ACLU pushes, because the ACLU is the most liberal wing of the Democratic Party pushing everything on the Democratic wish list – when you look at their members and donors.
The winning side of this argument tells us there is no voter fraud, only racists trying to keep good people from voting. I remember when Al Shugart registered his dog Ernest to vote in Carmel and ran the dog for Congress. There is another right we have that requires all kinds of paperwork, background check and waiting period. We seem to think that’s OK, but don’t dare ask anyone to prove they are the same as the person they claim to be. Where is the outrage? Will anyone get to the bottom of this?
Yes Arness you can rely on our supposedly elected Demoncrats to get to the bottom of this, NOT!
What good is an Imprimatur from a heretic bishop?
May God have mercy on an amoral Amerika!

If you can prove your statement Kenneth, you have an obligation to report it with documentation to the Vatican.
By the November 1996 election, Ernest was expected to receive a significant number of write-in votes in spite of the fact he wasn’t an official candidate. But there was a problem. In California, unregistered candidates aren’t counted. No matter how many write-in votes Ernest received, the votes wouldn’t be tabulated. Voters could express their protest, but it would go mostly unheard. It was Leon Panetta who concluded, “Ernest’s run for political office was unsuccessful, but I can offer some consolation: if his efforts inspire more people to take an interest in the political process, they haven’t been in vain.” The spirit of Ernest lived beyond the congressional campaign in the form of Friends of Ernest, a citizen’s watchdog group dedicated to generating interest in the political system. Chris Shugart was appointed Executive Director, and soon became editor and publisher of the The Ernest Voice.

Everyone needs to read the DEMOCRATIC Bible – “Rules for Radicals”
by Saul Alinsky,
and you will see their mantra and goals.
” Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
” Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
” If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”
“ Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”

Obama, Hillary Clinton and others swear by these rules.
So name calling – such as ‘racist’, etc is merely one of their rules to win.
Divide and Conquer.
Critics of President Barack Obama (who also worked as a community organizer in Chicago prior to embarking on his political career) have often linked his name with that of Saul Alinsky, sometimes in ways that suggest the two men knew each other and/or worked together. However, they never met: Alinsky died of a heart attack in 1972, when Barack Obama was but a ten-year-old child living in Hawaii. (Another prominent Democrat, former senator and secretary of state Hillary Clinton, did write her senior thesis on the topic of “An Analysis of the Alinsky Model” while she was a student at Wellesley College in 1969.) “How to create a social state,” circulated in January 2014, is another example of a political linking of the names of Saul Alinsky and Barack Obama. It’s not something taken from the actual writings of Saul Alinsky, though, and to those familiar with his background it doesn’t even sound like something he would have written (e.g., the line about “controlling health care” is anachronistic for his era, and the idea of “increasing the poverty level as high as possible” is the very antithesis of what Alinsky worked to achieve). This piece is simply a modern variant of the decades-old, apocryphal Communist Rules for Revolution piece which was originally passed along without attribution until Alinsky’s name became attached to it (presumably because someone out there thought it sounded like something Alinsky might have written).

You sound like you believe the Democrats are the only party to do these things. Google Republican Training Materials and you will find all kinds of ways that they party trains their people to win. Both parties use the same methods, just different messages. It is not evil for one party to try to get elected by teaching its supporters how to do it, as long as they don’t train them to do illegal things. People who try to improve the community in which they live, we call them organizers, are trained on how to approach city councils, etc. Both parties have trained people to do this, using the same techniques. Alinsky just seemed to be one of the better people at it. He was in the half of the country that believed that government should be activist. Some don’t agree.
Bob One, Alinsky who helped draft the Call continued using his straightforward, self-interest approach to convince the community that working together was the only hope for them. For example, he never approached a Catholic priest in terms of Christian ethics but on the basis of self-interest such as the welfare of this Church, even its physical property. Alinsky’s recognition of the Catholic Church as an “integral and dynamic factor in the experience and lives of the people” won him the support of the Senior Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago, the Most Reverend Bernard J. Shiel, D.D.. His support helped bring together the conflicting nationalistic Catholic Churches. Then hostility between the Church and the unions lessened as both recognized the necessity of cooperation. The primary question was, however, “cooperation” for what? The By-Laws of the Council (adopted May, 1939) idealistically stated that…this organization is founded for the purpose of uniting all organizations within the community known as ‘Back of the Yards’ in order to promote the welfare of all residents of that community regardless of their race, color, or creed, so that they may all have the opportunity to find health, happiness and security through the democratic way of life.
The Republicans certainly are not perfect.
But the Democrats by their own statements and actions are the worst.
” FOR PETE”S SAKE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Dustin, if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.
Alinsky was a Marxist/Communist. His politics had then and do now violate Church teaching.
This is right out of his Rules for Radicals book: https://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communism/alinsky.htm
First of all his opening page dedication is to Lucifer. Yes, Lucifer.
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”
“True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within . . The trick is to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties…. ‘
I own the book Dustin so don’t say otherwise.
Ed, keep your so called bridge and sell that lie to Fox News or Beck. You are reading the Lucifer thing out of context. Fox tried the same nonsense you are and it all ended up being debunked. The internet site you and Oscar are using (Marxist/communism) is ,shall we say, Garbage in and Garbage out (Lies and misinformation). If you are intent on believing this nonsense, then be my guest.
