Names of priests Frather Dave Leon, chaplain.  Father Leon is a pious and orthodox priest, who is a regular speaker on spirituality at retreats and conferences.

Fellow parishioners The chapel is for use by the Haven’s sixty residents and the sisters.  However, visitors are welcome.

Additional observations  Little Flower Haven is an assisted living facility operated by the Carmelite sisters in La Mesa.  The Carmelites first came to La Mesa in 1938; the current chapel was built in 1966.  The Carmelites are a traditional community, and wear full habits (visit https://www.carmeldcj.org/).  The community was founded by a Polish nun and convert to the Catholic faith, Blessed Maria Teresa of St. Joseph (1855-1938), and combines contemplative prayer and apostolic service.  The Little Flower Haven is one of four convents of the sisters.
